BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Our company dates back to 1954. Both our 65 years of experience in the furniture industry and the passion and knowledge of the new generation, now actively participating in the company, have led to the creation of our online store.

I am a Junior Business Developer, responsible for our collaborations (external partners), including developers, graphic designers, the SEO office, and the digital marketing team, but I am also responsible for sorting tasks and responsibilities.

For what projects/services did your company hire infocube, and what were your goals?

A year ago, we decided to move to another eCommerce platform. We were using Magento, and we needed more flexibility. Infocube acknowledged our needs, and they came with solutions for us. They designed our new online “profile” and practically helped us move onto a new website. I am confident that every goal was achieved: much better speed (mobile and desktop), better user experience, and better overall management, among others.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Having had unfortunate collaborations with web developers in the past; this time, I decided to do online research. I made a list of 6 web developers and organized an online call with 3 of them, where we, as a team, shared and discussed our current and future goals. It is important to say, though, that the Infocube team and especially the SEO’s persuasive, analytical, and caring approach were the elements that convinced me right away.

We had several meetings, discussing our goals and priorities. Following that, the designer team created mock-ups and wireframes for our new website. Many drafts were made; corrected and updated editions were eagerly provided.

We also discussed the role and tasks of the developers’ team, since one of our main incentives is to provide our customers with a better user and management experience.They organized the project, delineating all pertinent steps. We created a secret online link and were able (still are) to observe the growth of our project.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In the beginning, we needed to contact a specialist developer or designer for each step of the process. We spoke with 5 - 6 people from the infocube team. The project manager was our main point of contact when facing a significant difficulty. He was able to provide us with a solution to every problem. Generally, when we need something, we would open a ticket in your online support form, and they would find a solution for us immediately.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After moving onto our new website, we saw a 75% increase in traffic and sales. Customers essentially have a better user experience with more speed and personalized opportunities. With the infocube team, we achieved a personalized function in which our clients are able to choose colours, dimensions, and other elements. Naturally, in our office, we are better organised, since we are more able to manage sales, deliveries etc.

They have created online ticket support, and every moment, we can open a ticket with our problem or question. Whenever they have a question, they call us. This is very productive and easy to use.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Customizations and speed responsiveness in our receivables. They satisfy our requests. Their experience and organization are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I had previous unfortunate experiences, and I have to say that I would not change anything in this collaboration. If I had to suggest something, though, that would point towards a direction they are already taking: further improving their platform with new opportunities and functions.

I am the IT Director of Nic. J. Theocarakis Group of Companies. We are importers and distributors for cars, tyres, farming tractors, outboard motors. We represent brands like Nissan, Lassa, Kenda, Yokohama, Suzuki Marine, Same, Deutz-Fahr in Greece and we are located in Athens, Salonica and Aspropyrgos serving Greece and Balkans regions. We have stuff of about 350 employees.

For what projects/services did your company hire infocube?

One of our companies that represents Same and Deutz-Fahr tractors had the need to redesign entirely the website which was outdated. We had to follow some guidelines from each factory separately and at the same time to blend them together under Theocarakis unified identity. Since we had no dedicated web developers we outsourced the entire redesign and rebuilt of the site

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to redesign entirely the UI and drive traffic to our site for information and inquiries. We wanted to differentiate from each factory web design and at the same time keep the brand identity of each one under our corporate site. We wanted an easy, user friendly platform in order to update the site frequently. Finally, we wanted to present opportunities for used farming tractors and be able to sell them.

SOLUTION

How did you select infocube?

We had previous successful projects with Infocube as they developed our Suzuki Marine website, and we were happy with their work. We examined 2 other companies, but they had the best proposal cost wise as well as quality of work wise.

Describe the project in detail.

After the kickoff meeting we had several conversations to discuss our goals and objectives. Our team discussed extensively with Infocube and they came back with excellent suggestions and best practices. Even though the COVID situation made it extremely hard they came up with several designs and mockups for the entire look n feel of the site.

We actually followed their suggestions and they were very patient and helpful with our many requests and changes, very professional and on time. We actually produced 3 websites in one since each factory Same and Deutz-Fahr had very different layouts.

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a project manager as the central point of contact for the duration of the project. Additionally, two other people were involved for the frontend and the mockups as well as translations and functionality concerns

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our new website just launched but we already receive very good comments from our customers as well as from the board of directors who are very happy with the project outcome. We expect the coming months to increase the traffic and be the central point of information for the company products.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication with the company was extremely easy and polite and they were always willing to discuss and implement our requirements. We communicated via phone regularly and via their ticketing system which was very well organized. The timelines of the project were met every time and the delays that we experienced were from our side and our departments communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were deeply knowledgeable about the subject and extremely helpful. Their suggestions were always on the spot and they took the extra mile as far as support is concerned. They kept all the deadlines and were very patient with the changes we required. It was an incredibly positive experience, and we will certainly cooperate with Infocube in the future.
