I am the COO of a software services company that provides bespoke technology solutions to companies worldwide.

What challenge were you trying to address with Infinity mesh?

We were looking for flexible resourcing solutions to supplement our projects and a partner to provide us with expert technical assistance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Infinity mesh has been our primary staff resourcing partner, to help scale our workforce up and down when we bring in additional projects and clients.

We currently have staff from Infinity mesh on at least four of our projects providing us full development support during the development lifecycle.

What is the team composition?

We have worked with at least 30 people from Infinity Mesh, and their position ranges from CEO, CTO, technical architect, senior, mid-level and junior developers and QA specialists.

How did you come to work with Infinity mesh?

We had been working with the founders of Infinity Mesh before the business was incorporated. We have supported them and they have supported us since the very beginning.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about £3 million (approximately $3.6 million).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have successfully completed a multitude of projects with resources from Infinity Mesh

How did Infinity mesh perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management is within our line of control, and they’re mainly responsible for the development aspect of the partnership.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like that they continue to provide a strong and open partnership, so we’re able to clearly communicate our challenges and work together to come up with solutions — they really go above and beyond the scope to help resolve our issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Perhaps a more detailed assessment of the individuals assigned to projects, to ensure they are the right fit (taking into consideration skills and social fit).

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to have open and honest communication with Infinity mesh to get the most out of your engagement with them.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a VP at a global digital agency. My primary responsibility is our e-commerce business which specializes in digital transformation, usually centred around a website. This means building on top of platforms like Sitecore, Optimizely, Commerce Tools, Big Commerce, etc.

For what projects/services did your company hire Infinity mesh?

The biggest challenge of any agency is the ability to quickly ramp up teams. Projects change and new business comes in and with some niche technologies its hard to find talent in short order.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was my first talk with their management that made me feel at ease. The Infinity Mesh guys weren't trying to "Sell" me. They wanted to understand the business challenges and tech stack and it was clear that they understood both. This was 7+ years ago and I've worked with Infinity Mesh at a couple different companies now across a large portfolio of clients.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The largest project was a soup to nuts Sitecore implementation that saw us building 10-15 different sites on one instance for a large CPG company. The project involved architecture, design, and implementation of the sitecore components as well as the front end to support all this. The Infinity Mesh team worked with Valtech leadership and project management to deliver with quality on time.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

5-7 at any given time per project. At times we had up to 12 across 2-3 different accounts. The roles were largely technical and ranged from:

• front end development
• back end development
• dev-ops and architecture

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The work was always done on time and the clients happy. Infinity Mesh leadership was always quick to respond to questions or help us right size the team when change happened.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team integrated into our process and workflow, so seamless. We're all using the same toolset.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of work is great, but their commitment to partnership with me and my teams over the years has been amazing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Branch out beyond just technology and look at UX/BA/Design roles as well. I think there is a real opportunity there to be a turnkey subco.
