Wellers Impact is a Uk-based, FCA regulated, impact investment specialist. I work in investment operations where part of my responsibilities is online communications and marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Indigo Stone Website Designs?

Wellers Impact's website was out of date and poorly designed. We hired Indigo Stone to completely redesign the websites design and functionality and be an ongoing manager of new content that needed to be posted online.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to improve the communication of Wellers Impact's work and professionalise our online presence. We hoped that by redesigning the website we could increase web traffic and business as a result of that.

Indigo Stone was known and trusted by our CEO.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Indigo Stone used the new content that I wrote for our website and completely redesigned the site. This included the layout, design and functionality of the website and adding in of new features such as a webpage for blogs and news releases. They have also established our company LinkedIn page and continue to post and manage the sharing of news and blogs on both the website and LinkedIn.

What was the team composition?

Will, from Indigo Stone, was our point of contact and website developer. He has been the person responsible for this project from the beginning.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Since the launch of our new website we have had increased web traffic which has resulted in increased conversations with organisations and companies outside of our immediate network. We have had a number of complements on the website too.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Will and I collaborated on the website in person and via email. He always met deadlines, working quickly and efficiently. He was highly responsive and professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The personalized and professional service and collaboration impress us. Along with the very high quality website produced.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is very little to improve on - we were, and continue to be, very impressed with the service provided by Indigo Stone.

For what projects/services did your company hire Indigo Stone Website Designs?

Our website was originally designed as a "starting point" and we had evolved (and continue to evolve) quite rapidly. The design and content needed a complete overhaul and rethink with target audiences in mind, but with room for growth and further evolution.

What were your goals for this project?

As our marketing efforts ramp up and our business diversifies, we needed a professional, modernised and tailored look which would be a first port of call for parties doing their due diligence on our company and wanting to understand what we do.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

This vendor had done some work for us previously, around our online marketing approach and materials. We were always impressed with their intuitive insights, clear grasp of what we do and efficient follow-through.

We designated one of our employees to coordinate this project with the vendor and our IT provider. This allowed efficient use of the Directors' time and ensured the vendor had one point of contact in the company. The vendor worked very well with our employee and IT provider to coordinate efforts in an efficient manner.

What was the team composition?

This vendor carried out the project himself. He has a breadth of skillsets which really impressed us. Not only was he able to carry out the technical aspects in conjunction with out current IT provider with ease, but he had a good grasp as to where we wanted to portray our business as going. This has resulted in an excellent and professional website which has exceeded our expectations.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the first few months of the relaunched website, we have seen significantly increased interest - borne out through the enquiries we now regularly receive. We have also seen new potential investors and partners looking at our website as a source of due diligence when we meet with them, since materials and presentation are markedly improved and more thorough.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The vendor worked very efficiently with our designated employee to ensure regular workflow was maintained and the process proceeded speedily.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

This vendor is very intuitive about the marketing world and quickly understood exactly what our business was about. He was able to provide very valuable advice which has helped us significantly in extending our reach to the right audiences in the most efficient manner.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing material here I can think to mention. We had some delays in finalisation of the website, but that was down to the Directors not getting back on reviewing materials fast enough.

I run a photography business that specializes in fashion and commercial events. I’ve been collaborating with companies and building up my portfolio.

What challenge were you trying to address with Indigo Stone Website Designs?

I needed them to produce the vision I had for the website. Because I wasn’t prepared to build it myself, I wanted to bring a team in and present them with my ideas.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided them with my ideas for a website to represent my photography business. They created it from scratch, working with all the photos that I wanted to include from my portfolio. The site was created using Wix. At this point, they make changes and updates to the site when needed. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with one person for their team.

How did you come to work with Indigo Stone Website Designs?

When I first started, one of my clients recommended them to us. They provided me with their contact information.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent about £300 (approximately $373 USD) on the initial website. Now, we spend about £20 (approximately $25 USD) each month for maintenance. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2019, and our collaboration is ongoing. However, they finished the project in about two weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My clients enjoy the website. They were able to put my vision into a visual space. I’m very proud to showcase the final product as my own.  

How did Indigo Stone Website Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

Once presented with the project brief, he immediately understood my vision. From there, they were very engaged with the task. We communicated via email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have experience working with all different types of small businesses and websites. The team uses their expertise to bring helpful knowledge into each individual project. I was able to pick out aspects of other sites I liked, and they could implement them. Their small business focus was also appreciated. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As long as you keep in touch with him, the process is smooth. To start, though, it’s important to have a vision for how your website will look.

Indigo Stone made a number of recommendations for how the website could be re-designed so as to attract traffic and make the experience more user friendly - he did this via email in a clear and easy to understand way and we accepted these recommendations.

William was the point man and ran the project

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is early but I can confirm that the website is much more user friendly and we have no doubt that it will increase traffic
