Index.dev helped us build a small, efficient and fast paced, senior engineering pod that worked alongside us (founders) to build our AI matching platform. They worked across the matching logic, data pipelines, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tools. We needed help with the sourcing capacity, interviewing, onboarding and management of the talent that we selected.
Index team was very supportive, helpful and consulted us along the way. I must mention, I was surprised that they came with suggestions that provided us with very efficient contributors, what surprised me was that the talent they recommended were with more competitive rates than the competitors, and also that the talent was highly motivated and very good both on technical level but also on soft skills.
In long term it was great, since the team was very open to direct feedback, and opened to work extra hours to meet the tough deadlines

They supported us throughout the onboarding process and were very involved in making sure the transition was smooth. There were a few bumps at the start, but Index.dev was responsive and helped us work through them efficiently. Eventually, the collaboration went so well that we decided to move forward with a buyout.

One area for improvement could be a more structured onboarding framework. Offering additional resources or guidelines for integrating new talent could help both clients and candidates feel more prepared and aligned from the start. However, they addressed our needs well, and once the process was underway, everything went smoothly.
Another point could be the clients' preparation on for the onboarding of the new talent, e.g., "Checklist", "need to know"-things and others.
