We needed to find senior engineers to build out our AI-driven platform.

The team has taken the time to understand our business, product vision, and specific technical needs before beginning the search, which has resulted in a strong alignment from the outset. Their main deliverable has been identifying and placing an excellent contractor who is capable of building the initial product and has the potential to transition into a full-time role.In addition to sourcing and placement, Index.dev has handled interviews, background checks, and setting up contracts.

The most meaningful outcome has been the quality and effectiveness of the engineer that Index.dev has placed. From the outset, the engineer has demonstrated a strong understanding of our product vision and the complexity of insurance compliance, which has significantly reduced ramp-up time and the need for heavy oversight. This has translated into fast, high-quality execution — core parts of the MVP have been built quickly and aligned closely with the intended architecture and user experience.In practical terms, we've seen progress through the speed of development, the accuracy of what has been built against requirements, and the ability to turn abstract compliance concepts into a working product. The fact that the engineer has been able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and deliver meaningful product functionality early on has been a clear indicator of success.
