What challenge were you trying to address with Implies Solution?

We were looking for a vendor that could provide full stack development. We needed a team that could understand our business problems and help us solve them through technology.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Implies Solution is developing our platform, which houses numerous applications. They’re working on mobile, web, and server-side development. The mobile app development spansiOS and Android development. They exclusively use Node.js for development; their mobile apps use React Native, and their web app uses React. 

At the beginning of the project, I informed Implies Solution’s team that I wanted a good UX for our externally-facing mobile application. We also wanted an intuitive set of administrative tools that our operators could use on the backend. 

So, Implies Solution dove into the project, going beyond just implementing our requests. They made suggestions on our designs and how to make them more intuitive for our users on both the web and mobile apps.

Their team has scaled up since we first started working with Viral (CEO) to about 3–4 teammates. It’s great that our companies are growing together — as we bring on new teammates, we can expand the team we work with from Implies Solution.

They’ve proactively solved our problems by using technology. Their team is attentive to detail, facilitating a smooth project. Implies Solution is always working behind the scenes to ensure we’re getting everything we need to succeed.

Implies Solution has a great track record — they always deliver what they set out to. We have daily stand-ups with them. Their team is very responsive through email and Slack, which are our primary contact channels outside of our daily meetings.

I appreciate that their team doesn’t just take orders. They understand the bigger picture and the challenges we’re trying to address. Their team is proactive, identifying anything that needs to be updated or fixed.

The App was crashing from the prior developer. The first deliverable was stopping crashing and refactoring.

The second deliverable was ongoing feature enhancments such as syncing inspections between devices.

The third deliverable was improvement in I18N.

The fourth deliverable was improved monitoring via Sentry.

The fifth deliverable was LiDAR support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

No more crashes.

App is also much faster.

Network resilience improved.

Support for LiDAR now exists.

Improved Spanish translation.

I am CTO of a startup data company. I've worked in software and high tech for 25 years on a variety of platforms and business domains with hundred of software and hardware development engineers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Implies Solution, and what were your goals?

We had a proof of concept mobile app for one event only. Implies Solutions helped us grow the app into a multi tenant app, coding the front end, services, and database tiers. They also were able to create a web based administration portal to add and maintain content for the mobile app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched development services online and originally selected two other developers. These folks weren't the best fit, but helped create a proof of concept. We found Implies Solutions, and Viral immediately and clearly understood our application tech stack, and business case, and was able to take over the project. Implies Solutions really hits the sweet spot for great value and smart developers. Viral has become a partner in our success by helping design, implement, and scope features in a practical, get it done way.

We had 2 months to turn our proof of concept into a launch for a customer conference. Implies Solutions was responsible for all mobile development, using react-native to add features. They also work on the services layer, and mongoDB datastore. Implies Solutions conducts daily stand up meetings with progress demonstrations. Our 3 man US team reviews the features and provides feed back for quick turn around.

Implies Solutions started with one developer, and then added a second developer to get the bare minimum feature set done in time for launch. We have been able to scale up and down as our application continues to grow and evolve.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 2 months of bringing Implies Solutions on as our development partner, we launched our first event successfully. Based on that success and feedback from the customer community, we have continued to pivot our sales pitch and feature set - Implies Solutions keeps up wth our needs and provides solid work on time.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

I am impressed by how responsive Viral and the team are. Our time zone is 12.5 hours offset, which can be a challenge. Daily stand ups, great communication over Slack and use of Gitlab issues to manage changes all help keep us in sync.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The folks at Implies Solutions really know the territory when it comes to mobile development. Several times our US team has been caught out, our designs needed use cases we hadn't considered. The team at Implies Solutions are quick to point these out and brainstorm what to do. They are familiar with the complexities of working with the App stores, mobile features like maps, notifications, permissions, camera interface, etc. But also familiar with a range of 3rd party providers for image stores, email relay, infrastructure hosting and deployment, and so on.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We tried to batch work up into weeks of full time work, separated by weeks of no work. This didn't work well- we find for our company working continually at a lower number of hours keeps a high velocity. Implies Solutions willingly worked with us on a variety of schedules to find the best for our project.

I'm The CTO of 2 software companies with offices in Israel and in Europe. We provide costume development services from AI to cyber security.

For what projects/services did your company hire Implies Solution, and what were your goals?

Our team developed a solution for face recognition and palm recognition and we needed a team to build the applications in react native and flutter. The application was the full application of the buyer, a core library for affiliates to implement the services in their applications, and also applications for the client clients.

We found the company through Upwork, and they were very professionals. always on time! clear, and with high-quality code. high availability.

We have designed the system from user cases, detail design, UI/UX, and developed the server-side. They have developed about 6 mobile applications on different platforms. and one shared core library to be used in 3rd party applications

the team people who worked with us were between 2-4 depending on the pressure and tasks. We had one project manager and the rest were developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were always ahead of schedule, we managed to handle the project on a tight budget as COVID-19 reduced the original plan. We managed to do the changes needed very fast. the product was flawless

Great communication, great availability. on the spot with timelines. They managed the project using Jira we were adding tasks and they managed them.

Their questions were professional. The team's recommendations from past experiences and quick implementations were remarkable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't know as they are responsive in real-time to the client. I'm working with the company today on multiple projects for different clients.
