iLawyer has been amazing to work with and proven successful within a very short time period. We are a personal injury law firm based out of Austin, TX and signed up for the SEO Personal Injury law website optimization, website and rebranding with logo included from iLawyer. Each team member, including George, Sarah & Lily have been courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable in their role. They provided increased organic traffic by 150% in a very short time span of a month. We were showing up in the top 3 Google searches within one month of launching our new website. George has been the best account manager by always staying on top of our organic website trafic, getting our firm Google verified at a new office, website performance metrics which lead to Lead quality improvements. iLawyer has by far been the greatest investment we have made. They have a direct positive impact on client acquisition and have monumentally improvement in search rankings. I highly recommend them!

I initially spoke to Alex (National Sales Director), and we quickly started to work. We gave them access to our Google Ads and organic accounts and worked together on keyword research. They managed our Google Ads campaigns.

Ilawyer marketing was hired to take over from another company. They stated their expertise was in PPC and SEO work. They sold me on two different website proposals breaking my exposure out on two sites rather than one (at the time I had three.) They wanted to expand my SEO reach as well as better focus my PPC approach.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There was no positive progress on this matter, every month had an ROI well under 1:1. I lost between 50 and 175k per month from my break even point with them. Nearly every month was behind the same month a year prior.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They were effectively non-responsive to my demands and instead of taking responsibility and ownership for their failures they tried to pass it off on (1) inflation, (2) my intake, (3)"just the market."

The lead quality that they delivered was absolutely horrific; we were not getting the calls our competitors were getting. They were happy to take our money, but they reacted very negatively to a suggestion and evidence that they were not delivering. The vast majority of their leads were unqualified, but their position was that any lead that was a "criminal" lead was "good."

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive part of this company was their sales pitch. Alex is an amazing sales person. He zeroed in on exactly what my pressure points and concerns were.

Are there any areas for improvement or something iLawyerMarketing could have done differently?

Strip down their entire process and get back to who they used to be. They have grown too fast and are losing clients because of it. Perhaps not all of their account managers are as uncaring as mine, and perhaps their PPC Director isn't as abrasive as she was with me, but their entire approach was really disturbing for how little responsibility they took. In writing, their top people were hyper-aggressive about how "good of a job" they were doing, but via verbal communication, they admitted their PPC was weak and that there was no ROI.

I wouldn't recommend them to any attorney. The final insult was charging me another 20k+ in order to free the website I had paid them 33k+ to build.

The vendor responded on December 17, 2023.

Unfortunately, not everyone has marketing success. We really do wish Joe the very best moving forward, but we do take issue with so this review as it’s filled with many false statements and exaggerations.

The reality is that some people have unreasonable expectations. This is one of those cases. He wanted 3x growth, which admittedly, we did not achieve, but we also didn’t work with him for very long. We were warned about him by other vendors he has worked with, but he assured us it would be different. It was not. Despite our employees dedicating additional time to his account and doing everything possible to ensure success, he still treated them badly. We even had our PPC Manager on his Slack intake channel that we monitored daily, to try and do everything we could on our end.

Since we aren’t answering phones and running the intake department for the firm, we can only do what we can on the marketing side of things, and we actually delivered hundreds of leads, many of which led to signed cases for the firm, despite all the weaknesses we observed with the intake process. Not all firms are great at intake, and for those firms, having marketing success is much more difficult.
