I am the CRO at DTE Consultancy in Nairobi. We work with clients mostly in the data analysis and statistics field. We also provide consultation services to clients interested in business and agricultural experimentation, market strategy. We also carry out training in statistical packages.

Our website was created last year but since we are a start-up business, we felt like it wasn't still up to our desired standard and didn't bring to light our products and services better. We hired a member of this team by the name of Gitonga to review and note the areas he felt needed improvement. We also provided him with a vision of how we needed our website to look like.

He was referred to us by a trusted friend and after reviewing some of his work and an interview we felt we could trust him to bring our vision to light.

After a series of highlighting the issues we had with our old website, Gitonga came to us with a proposal for the new website that's when we realized just improving on the old website wasn't going to cut it. We decided to start from scratch and simply import some of the information from the old website that we felt we needed to retain.

Overall, it was a good experience seeing our vision come to life from the home page to the contact page. He added multiple windows to the new website something we did not have. We even got a web icon as a bonus which we are very happy about. We even got a WhatsApp contact button to help us be prompt in delivering services to our clients

We only worked with one person Kevin Gitonga and he did the job well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The overall look is much more user-friendly. The site traffic has increased immensely and now we can communicate much easier with our clients. The documentation used to develop the site was very thorough.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were kept in the loop every step of the way. The communication was smooth and easy since we used Whatsapp mainly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We really appreciated that they understood our vision and considered our needs. We were really concerned about the work not getting done to our perfection. He was patient with us and always seemed our approval after completing a task. He gave us input and ideas he felt could work for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Focus more on time but we ended up with a beautiful user-friendly website so can't really complain much.

I am a client relation officer at versed travel & expeditions. I oversee all issues related to our client and ensuring that client is satisfied. I am mainly involved in:- 1. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies. 2. Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services. 3.Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients. 4. our company needed a website that shall ensure good interaction with our and also that was easy to maintain from our end. iDeveloper Technologies did us great just by delivering just was we visualized. They are also managing our social media marketing and conducting SEO for our site to ensure we remain competitive in the market. So far i can say it a pleasure working with them.

What were your goals for this project?

we wanted to see our traffic increase by double by the end of the year and to increase the number of inquires that we received. We needed also the website to be easy to update and manage from our end as we were interested in a simple, user friendly platform.

we had an online search for web designers in our area and we had a list of at least 5 companies on case studies on their website. We contacted each company and narrowed it down to 2 after receiving their intial pitch. we had a hard decision to make but we narrowed down to this vendor due to their interaction with our team, their willingness to listen to our requests, and of course their price point which we felt was fair

once we selected this vendor we had a series of meetings to discus our goal and objectives. the first two weeks we received mock-up and initial designs for the main page on the site for our review and discussion. after a few iterations and discussions with our marketing team, we finalized the design and provided feedback on how we wanted the rest of the site to look. the vendor came back to us with wireframes and concepts for our others pages, including an update contact us form

What was the team composition?

it involved the marketing team, CRO and the executive office. marketing team and CRO gave the details of the website while the executive office made the decisions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

within a month our website was up and running and 6 months later we got to see the Fruit of the SEO as we were ranking in the first page of Google and inquires also increased.

The contact person that was assigned to communicate with the vendor had an easy time, they were on time on every and would meeet the deadline and the work was satisfactory to us. i can say we were in impressed.

iDeveloper Technologies team is highly proficient in its profession, punctual in meeting deadlines and makes sure all parties are satisfied beyond the finished product.

They designed our website, optimized and edited our image for the website to best meet our needs, The website was based on joomla cms and they highly customized the codes to better reflect our color theme. They also worked on our website Search Engine optimization (SEO) and made sure we are visible for our brand keyword and also our industry related keywords

The team was composed of 3 developer from them including backend developers, front end developers and also graphic designer who managed our images optimizations

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The biggest impact we've had with this project is the ability of interested participants on our events to register online and submit their registration details to us. also we've had our website visible on search results

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was managed by having an in house person on our end keep in touch with the team at iDeveloper Technologies to assist them with any needs from our End, this was achieved through normal day to day tool i.e. emails, skype calls, whatsapp messages. We were able to meet all our deadlines and expectations due to the smooth interaction with both teams.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The organization response to queries and needs was spot on. with them being readily availlable to respond to our query, and would immediately respond or followback for any missed chat, such as call, or skype or un responded whatsapp message.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Certainly it would be on pricing. we all want to spend the least amount of cash on any project, however it was worth the cost. We would love SEO to be very fast but they advised us SEO usually takes some time to yield positive result of which happened to be correct

We started with a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals, ideas, our expectations and what we wanted to be delivered. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed a very interactive website for us. They updated the content to reflect our company's services and products and created a landing page with a contact form.

A project manager was our main point of contact throughout the process, and Kelvin the developer and a designer who knows how to it best at his work.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we saw a 80% increase in traffic, and our incoming leads doubled month over month thanks to the landing page. Clients love the design, and they now have a better understanding of our services and products.

We had daily stand-ups with the project manager, who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We used Becky and Kelvin to coordinate, and they worked well with us.

They gave us a professional and interactive website that's easy to use and update. We've never worked with WordPress before, so they've taken the time to teach us how to update the content ourselves.
