The measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success include: For the completion of the partially implemented website: Daily updates on the progress, showcasing newly developed pages and improvements made to the website. Regular reviews to ensure the implementation aligns with the project goals and design.

For the enhancement of the Upstreet app with new tiles for employee share rewards and the ad-hoc employee reward feature: Detailed Figma files are shared every other day, providing clear visuals of the ongoing design and development process. Regular feedback cycles to ensure alignment with project requirements and to make necessary adjustments based on client input. What I found most impressive and unique about this company is their unwavering professionalism and dedication to delivering high-quality results. They demonstrated a no-fuss attitude and ensured that every aspect of the project was executed seamlessly. This was further exemplified by their commitment to providing a single point of contact (SPOC) for communication, which streamlined the entire process. Even with the time difference, they managed to deliver exceptional outcomes that exceeded expectations, which was truly remarkable and refreshing to experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something iClickSee could have done differently?

While iClickSee has performed exceptionally well in many aspects, there is some room for improvement when it comes to communication about project progress and estimated time of completion. For the final part of the website work, it was unclear where we stood and when we could expect the remaining tasks to be completed. If iClickSee could be more proactive in providing updates on these aspects, their overall performance and client satisfaction would be near perfect.

I'm the owner of a medical equipment retail store.

What challenge were you trying to address with iClickSee?

We needed to develop a custom web platform that managed our store’s rental and retail needs. We were looking at different software and realized there are great options for retail, but there isn’t robust enough software that incorporates rentals. We wanted the latest in CRM and customer interaction so that we could have all the marketing features that platforms like Shopify and DEAR offer and tie in our rental transactional needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

iClickSee is designing and developing a custom software platform where we can manage our rental transactions. We use DEAR for underlying inventory tracking, and they’re building the rental platform on top of that. They’ve also used Laravel for development.

Additionally, iClickSee has been assisting us in updating and building our website using Shopify. Once development is finished, they’ll give us startup support and continue building as we discover things we want to add.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact with iClickSee is Sean (Managing Director), and he works with another teammate on my account.

How did you come to work with iClickSee?

I had interviewed many companies for two years and couldn’t find one that met our needs. Then, a business partner referred me to iClickSee.

We’ve spent around $20,000 with iClickSee so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with iClickSee in March 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

While the software is not active yet, iClickSee has been super diligent in researching the platforms we're using. They're the ones who introduced me to DEAR and came up with the idea of combining this software with Shopify to be able to get the outcome we need. 

iClickSee has done a lot of research with their implementation team and has taken the initiative to ensure everything works together. They've shown me a demo of how the platform will work, and it looks good.

How did iClickSee perform from a project management standpoint?

iClickSee meets deadlines and stays on budget. We mainly communicate through email and keep track of our progress through Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I've found most impressive about iClickSee is their knowledge; they're really well-versed in software and technology. Sean is easygoing and easy to work with — he's a problem-solver. Overall, iClickSee has been great at understanding my needs and using the right tools to meet them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We're in different time zones; I'm in the US, and iClickSee is based in the UK, so it would be great if they had more call availability during our working hours. However, Sean has been flexible and reasonable on that end and has hopped on calls despite the significant time difference.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise making sure everything is clear when you set the scope of work with iClickSee. Outline the project you need help with, including any timelines you may have, and be as clear and detail-oriented as possible.

I’m the CIO at HelloPrint; we’re a B2B company with a wide range of printed products, including posters, brochures, booklets, and apparel.

Our company has an API that users can utilize on WooCommerce to ease their sales processes. We wanted iClickSee to build a plug-in around our API so customers could just do plug-and-play with our API.

iClickSee is building a WooCommerce plug-in for our site. We had the requirements set up before we brought them on that were a more minimal version of the plug-in we wanted. They’ve based their plug-in designs on our requirements. 

iClickSee also uses those requirements in their sprints; they deliver updated software every two weeks. Their team uses PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 

Once the plug-in is complete, iClickSee will provide maintenance services.

We work with a team of five, including front- and backend developers and project managers.

I found them through Upwork; I wanted a partner with experience.

We’ve invested €75,000 (approximately $78,000 USD).

At this point, around 100 users have installed the plug-in. We also have a couple of hundred downloads.

Their team uses Trello to manage the project — they’ve adhered to our budget and timelines. We also use email.

iClickSee works quickly and is very pragmatic.

Their project management and communication could be more formalized through more documentation.

We hired them to create a trading bot. It went pretty well, and the bot works fine. Sean did a nice job addressing any issues with it.

We found this vendor on Upwork. He had pretty good reviews, and he seemed like a sharp guy.

We had Sean use an API to collect data from another website, and then use our API to place trades on our website. It sounds simple, but there were numerous complications and complexities. Sean created a working bot pretty quickly.

I mostly worked with Sean, the head of iClicksee. He also had another guy who was on a few calls early on.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Overall, the bot we wanted Sean to create worked pretty well. We had hired another programmer at the same time to create a similar bot for another website, and that one did not work. So, in an apples-to-apples comparison, iClickSee's bot worked better than to some other random programmer from Upwork's bot. (that guy also previously had had good reviews).

Sean did a good job with communication, and with setting up a weekly meeting to check progress (better at it than me I think). He also did a nice job communicating via trello.

Overall solid work.

Early on, I might have liked things to be done faster, but in the end it's more important that they be done well. Solid job overall.

Website released in January and we have already seen a 5% increase. We expect this to increase significantly with our digital marketing efforts rolling out within the next several months.
