I’m a senior consultant and partner at Spatial Foresight, a consultancy and think tank specializing in European territorial policies. We offer analysis, strategy development, and foresight processes to support territorial development and policymaking.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ibisdev?

We needed help with the development of an innovative web platform for participative processes. This platform would allow local and regional authorities and stakeholders to share and discuss mental representations of their territory in a workshop context.Additionally, we needed help with the development of an innovative dashboard to compare multi-level governance frameworks for sectoral policies, e.g., in the fields of biodiversity preservation, water management, industrial transitions, and energy saving.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ibisdev provided us with web development services. The team was responsible for requirements gathering and functional specifications, concept development and solution architecture, user journey design and workshop process design, UX/UI design and interactive mock-ups, wireframing and prototyping, front- and backend web development, database and platform integration, and QA and testing. Moreover, Ibisdev developed a participatory mapping and collaboration platform for territorial workshops and a comparative dashboard for analyzing multi-level governance frameworks across policy sectors. The team was also responsible for data visualization and dashboard design, bug fixing and performance optimization, user feedback integration and iterative improvements, deployment and technical implementation, and documentation, support, and maintenance.

Ibisdev was referred to me. I chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget, they offered good value for the cost, and they had a talented and committed team.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together over two periods, spanning from June 2020–December 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ibisdev’s work led to a series of successful workshops and praise from our client (ESPON EGTC).

How did Ibisdev perform from a project management standpoint?

Ibisdev’s project management was very reliable. The team delivered on time and was extremely committed and flexible. Our primary form of communication was virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ibisdev’s openness to new challenges, curiosity, and level of technical proficiency were impressive. I appreciated their patience and flexibility in the process of understanding our needs and translating them into functionalities and design options.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Map our current sales configurator to new CRM platform, this included a re configuring and enhancement of the lead data capture to include GDPR data requirements and making the client journey more seamless.

Enhancement to the data captured and stored in the CRM - allowing the sales team to view the specific configuration as well as understandingwhether the client had enquired or just saved a configuration - both of these actions ahve allowed our sales team to follow up leads more effectively

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Improved client journey - less confusion in our messaging for both the sales team and the client - whilst this isnt measuarable in terms of metrics and KPI's at present it is noticeable from a sales process and CX perspective

Very helpful, went above and beyond at all times - feedback and UAT testing queries rectified quickly and project delivered on time

Scope aims to deliver a user-friendly and interactive configurator that empowers sales reps to effectively customize roofing solutions while providing comprehensive backend support for content management.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Completelely removed the need for sales reps to reach our to our graphic design team in order to create roof system mockups.

The team managed scope changes and feature requests smoothly and on time.
