Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Overall, HyQuality are very professionally, accountable and they work very fast.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicated mainly through email and phone calls. The whole project took about four months. However, it could be done much faster if I had all the contents ready. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

HyQuality is very flexible and really takes the time to understand my needs. They will explain what can be done, how do we achieve it, and the possible alternatives.

There were quite a few revisions that need to be done for the project, and HyQuality was willing to make as many revisions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would say maybe give your clients more advice on shipping. Shipping is a more complicated aspect for e-commerce, especially for start-up business owners, and when they have different shipping needs for different types of products.

HyQuality definitely answered all my questions about shipping, but I think they can consider taking the initiative to advise their client about shipping based on the client's business needs.

Our goals were to improve our brand image related to photography, product specifications, templates, and story telling.

A complete overhaul of our past website, with a new modern website which displays all of our products, specifications and stories. We are now implementing an e-commerce section of our website as well.

We are constantly complimented on the layout, and organization of the products and services we offer.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very fluid! Hy made himself available nearly 24/7 for an infinite amount of requests and questions. We couldn't be happier.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

HyQuality was extremely flexible with their time and effort. He never said no to anything, and he was always open to combine our ideas into the best one possible.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No room for improvement, other than if Shopify's apps or platform grows to be more custom in certain areas.

I’m one of the owners of Parabellum Sporting Goods LLC. We’re a sporting facility and training center.

What challenge were you trying to address with HyQuality?

We needed a web page that would look professional and attractive to customers. We also needed it integrated with an existing web store run by our point-of-sale. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

HyQuality developed a website from scratch. I think it was built in WordPress, but I’m not sure. We had some ideas to start with, and we knew we wanted it to look clean, professional, and edgy to stand out from our competitors. We also wanted to manage our website and our point-of-sale’s e-commerce website under one portal, which required HyQuality to use their software. They had to redesign the existing e-commerce site to match ours so that they would feel like one website to the customer.

I only worked with Hy (CEO & Creative Director). 

How did you come to work with HyQuality?

I knew Hy already. We went through a few companies before, and I saw his work when visiting his office. It was very clean; each website had the perfect amount of information. So, in the end, we chose him.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in October 2019 and finished in February. Our part took longer — HyQuality probably could’ve finished it in 6–8 weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We launched a little bit ahead of time to test something. Our customers found out about the new website even though we never announced it. They started calling us about it and sharing their excitement. That meant that we had to take it down for the time being, but we appreciated the enthusiastic response!

How did HyQuality perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re amazing. We’re so happy with Hy. It was easy to contact to him: he gave me his personal cell phone number and his WhatsApp. That way, I could send him a text with a request, and he’d get it done that day or the following morning. We also met 4–5 times in person, but it made it really easy to reach out to him via text or email and get a response very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The whole process was very easy with him. Every service was built into the price we’d agreed upon, so it stayed the same price at the end. The contract was written in plain language. Also, Hy was open to receive us for meeting requests. Whenever we asked him questions, he understood perfectly and guided us well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We were very happy with the way Hy did things. For us, it was perfect.

Any advice for potential customers?

We went to Hy with a blank idea. He was very patient and never complained to us throughout the process. But it probably would’ve helped Hy if we sat down beforehand and made a sketch or scope of what we wanted.

Swimsuit Station is a wholesale swimwear distributor based in NJ. We have all types of accounts across the U.S. and Canada. Our website serves as a way for our customers to easily buy in bulk and view our new products.

We hired HyQuality to update our existing website and secure it from vulnerabilities. Previous developers didn't know how to fix certain bugs and took a lot of time (and money) to try and figure things out. The team at HyQuality knew how to fix everything that needed to be done, did it extremely quickly, and didn't break the budget.

To update and secure our website.

Our Website sales are up and it is running smoother then ever. We plan on created a new website in the coming year and will definitely stick with HyQuality.

I met with Hy Quality and he took me through examples of his other work and his approach to our project. I felt he understood what we wanted and didn't try to up sell me on other things, which was very much appreciated. Their prices were reasonable and I felt comfortable with what I heard, so we moved ahead.

The provided design example and once approved went into the site and updated the design. We worked on a dummy site and once we were happy with everything the site went live.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were very happy with the end results. A few areas didn't turn out as we originally expected and Hy made suggestions and revisions until we were happy. They were very easy to work with. It's hard to quantify the impact, but we always get positive comments about our site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We mostly emailed or had phone conversations. This was easy and painless.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Easy to work with, honest, authentic, didn't try to come back for additional fees or services. They did what they said they would do.

HyQuality took graphic art from our ad agency and incorporated that into a Shopify website. They wrote all the code, did the integrations, and incorporated custom features. They also managed SEO for us, helping us boost our Google rankings.

I'm 100% satisfied with the work Hy did and I’ll continue working with him. We're now just planning a marketing and advertising campaign, so we haven't seen any measurable results yet.

They're very competent and met their deadlines. We mostly used phone and email to stay in touch.

Hy is very patient and organized. If something unexpected came up, he was always able to handle that.

We hired HyQuality to do the development work for our new website when we rebranded as Plantable and changed our product architecture and UX.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to enhance the look of our website, as well as make the user experience more streamlined.

How did you select this vendor?

We originally started working with Hy (CEO & Creative Director) on a retainer as our primary Shopify expert. Being happy with his work, we brought him on as the lead developer for our website relaunch.

The project had several stages, all of which Hy was involved with. We started by brainstorming our vision and determining how we wanted our website to look and flow. Hy helped us understand what was possible within the constraints of our system, as well as determining what he was able to customize for us.

Then there was the development stage, which ended up being primarily custom work to ensure our unique product architecture and UX vision could become a reality. After testing, we launched the new site, and, following the launch, Hy spent two months refining the UX even further based on customer feedback.

What was the team composition?

From the HyQuality side, Hy was our main contact and developer. We also worked with a design agency that designed the visual assets. From the Plantable side, I oversaw the project and administered testing.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our customers (and our internal team as well) are much happier with the UX and find the ability to control their experience (order customization, subscription management, etc.) a positive. New customers now have access to more product information coming into their experience, allowing us to convert more people. The flow and the aesthetic of the website is also a great update from our old site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We primarily utilized Slack and GitHub for project management, and they worked well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Hy's eagerness to make our vision become a reality through extensive custom development is really impressive, and we wouldn't have the UX we do today without his will-do attitude.

Are there any areas for improvement?

From a project standpoint for all parties, not only HyQuality, we could have been more organized with our progress reports and communication throughout development as well as testing—this is something we are implementing in our next project.

I was only in touch with their CEO. He was very patient and responded quickly. The whole project only took a few weeks to complete.

Since launching our new site, our inbound calls and web references have increased year after year. Not only does the site have a simpler structure, it’s stable and has never been down for an extended period of time. It continues to run smoothly and quickly.

I’m the director of customer experience at Euphebe Healthcare. We provide whole food, plant-based meals, and coaching to clients.

After our previous vendor made coding mistakes, we hired HyQuality as ongoing support for our Shopify website’s frontend, backend, and custom UX.

We wanted to enhance the customer experience and improve conversion rates. For the backend, we wanted to develop scalable systems to enable our company’s growth.

We found them through a referral and then followed-up with an in-person conversation to discuss our company’s needs.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

They’ve completed a number of different projects. The team revamped our landing page and sub-pages, and developed an inventory system to track individual meals accurately for 12-meal box orders. Having implemented numerous iterations of our landing page, HyQuality also helped us launch several new products. In addition, HyQuality created a new custom product page and functionality for our A la Carte ordering system. With this feature, we can extend or terminate a product’s ordering period according to current inventory levels.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The team remedied past issues with speed and accuracy, perfecting functionalities in a responsive and timely manner. With HyQuality’s support, our in-house team now has more time to focus on launching new products. Conversions are up and the improvements—the landing page and ordering system—make the site more approachable from a UX perspective.

HyQuality provides thorough quotes and plans for significant projects, and then delivers upon those promises within the deadline. The team delivers high-quality work and is always up for a challenge.

Our product offering and scope requirements are complicated, but HyQuality always puts us at ease when we’re unsure of feasibility. In addition to being responsive, they’re communicative throughout the projects’ duration, which matches our preference to be active partners in the engagement.
