We purchased 7 UGC videos from Off Agency in December 2022. We used these creatives to promote the FBS trading app, and the goal was to get new installs as well as first-time deposits.

The pre-production stage started with signing the necessary documents and having a call to talk through some details of the expected result. We then received a commercial offer and agreed on starting the project. The production took around 3 weeks and included several stages of review. In these reviews, we were proposing some changes (e.g., adding subtitles) to the content. After all the videos were reviewed and accepted by the team, we tested the creative's performance (more about this in the RESULTS section) and decided on continuing cooperation.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They prepared a free reference video for us without request before our first meeting, which made our choice easier. The resulting content produced by Off Agency perfectly satisfies the UGC criteria and these videos are a nice tool for enhancing app marketing for a fair price.

We are completely satisfied with their work!

Cannot describe the success yet because we have just launched the video and are still collecting feedback on it.

The communication was very fast, easy and totally effortless. Probably because we have had a really detailed brief with all our main selling points, but also because OFF team grasped the essence of our brand really quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Speed, quality, simplicity of the process. We loved how the design of the video supports the main message by highlighting the main ideas using graphics.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish they approved the model in the video beforehand, because the girl in the video was a bit too playful for the business communication app.

My name is Maksim Ivanikin and I’m a creative producer of “Spring Valley” – one of the gaming projects by Playkot. Playkot company is engaged in the creation of mobile games such as "Tropic Storm”, “Age of Magic” and many more. Our games are played by more than 75 million people worldwide. The company has 235 employees and is headquartered in Limassol.

For what projects/services did your company hire OFF Agency?

We hired Viedy for the production of 8 UGC videos for two gaming projects: "Age of Magic" and "Spring Valley". The purpose was to reach the English-speaking audience worldwide through multiple channels (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.) with native UGC content.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We’ve found Viedy thanks to a recommendation and decided to give it a try.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Pre-Production: First, we filled the brief for guys to start allocating tasks to creators while we were signing the necessary documents. We had a couple of calls to negotiate details about the project as well as shared some references and ideas of what we want the result to look like. We wanted to have several resizes for Facebook ads and added this feature later in the project.

Production: At the beginning of production, we asked Viedy to share the approximate ideas for videos for us to check the content before it’s filmed. Guys shared with us the approximate “hooks” made by creators that were going to be used in videos and we’ve suggested some additions to existing content. Later we received the raw videos and shared with Viedy some gameplay footage to make the content more engaging.

Overall Viedy updated us with new versions of videos, we had several stages of review, accepted the video, and ran the ad campaign with new UGC creatives. Post-production: We didn't have trouble with approving the final result (only a few minor comments) so generally speaking, we accepted all videos on the first try :)

We worked mainly with the director of Viedy Vladimir Rudykh and the project manager Elizaveta Gainulina. After finishing the project another manager Daria approached us for a feedback call.

The outcome of the project is a set of 8 videos done in an authentic UGC style. Guys took into account all our suggestions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I've provided a detailed description in the SOLUTION sector for this one. The communication was held in Telegram chat for simplicity.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What we liked the most about this project is Having different actors for each video (this is something that differentiated Viedy from other UGC vendors) The actors tried to get used to the role as much as possible and adapt to our games (for example, recognizable items of clothing) The price per video

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

One thing that could be added is the accompanying text to each video reviewed that could contain details about changes for this one. Overall, we enjoyed working together!
