I’m the founder of a video-based, mobile social media app.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?
I engaged Hyperlink to do the mobile app development and a little bit of the design, though I mostly had it in place.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
At a high level, the build was done Swift and for iOS only. The backend was supported by AWS and several other services. Regarding key functionalities, there are social networking, video recording and posting, and chat capabilities.
The design process was iterative. I already had the designs fully baked. As we were going through the development process, we adjusted the designs as needed.
What is the team composition?
I’ve had communication with Harnil (CEO) and with Deepak (VP of Sales), their business correspondent. On a day-to-day basis on the development, I work with Ashish (Software Engineer).
How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?
I’d narrowed down my list of potential options and spoken to a variety of groups. As a side note, I reached out to the head of Clutch about getting assistance, and he coordinated my connection with Hyperlink.
I interviewed a variety of groups and ultimately decided to move forward with Hyperlink because I enjoyed communicating with Harnil (CEO), as well as their business correspondent. They made a competitive offer and were quick to respond to everything. Their products also seemed legitimate based on the referral conversations I had with their other customers.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $12,000 with them to date.
What is the status of this engagement?
We kicked off the project in June 2020, and the project is currently in the beta testing stage. We’ll continue to work with them in the future to refine the application.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve had a very good working relationship with Hyperlink. Obviously, as a side note, COVID-19 has caused complications with the availability of the developers. In all, I’ve been very satisfied.
In terms of key factors, Hyperlink has been very understanding and accommodating, especially if something needs to be addressed urgently or if we need to hop on a call. I appreciate the dialogue I have with them.
How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?
They do have communication tools but they adjusted to what I use best: email, Skype, and Zoom. Email and TestFlight sufficed for adjusting deliverables and delivering commentary on builds, while Skype and Zoom supported daily communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They offer a competitive rate with a personal touch.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I take any delays with a grain of salt because of the pandemic. Additionally, delays are always part of the process as the product develops over time. There aren’t any specific, major issues other than making sure everyone is on the same page regarding how changes are implemented. This is probably more on myself than on Hyperlink. Overall, I’ve been satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re very receptive to jumping if you ask them to. Express yourself if something isn’t going how you want it to. Communicating this information over the phone will also help, as text and instant messaging applications lack context. Hyperlink is more than accommodating.

Considering that India has a huge market for fake medication, i.e., around 30%, this concept could solve this issue by creating an innovative app using the latest technologies.

What was the scope of their involvement?
The scope was to build a mobile and web solution wherein people can verify their medicines. With IoT solution in second phase. This app enables anyone to authenticate the medicine by scanning its scratch code from the smartphone. This tech will be applied to the company's products Remdac (Remdesivir) and Virafin Injection for now and later be extended to the company's other products as well.

The team includes Android developer, ios developer, web developer, qa person, project manager and account manager.
How did you come to work with the vendor?
Hyperlink Infosystem is a well-known IT company in India. They have already worked with several big companies in Ahmedabad, as well as in other parts of India. Their team pitched this concept to our Board members to solve the issue of fake medication by creating an innovative solution. Our Board members were pretty impressed with this concept and agreed to develop an app which is called 'Zydus Verify.' This app authenticates the medicine with a scratch code on packaging in a few simple steps.

I hired Hyperlink InfoSystem to help develop a new website/platform, for my company.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Mostly via online searches, cost & reviews were factors I considered.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Kick-off was problematic, as the Project manager did not understand that I was looking to develop a web app (not mobile app). After assigning a new project manager, the project seemed back on track. Design & initial coding was done (I think they outsourced it though) to expectation.
THEN, the 2nd Project manager disappeared. Had NO communication for several weeks, until a new project manager appeared. They told me 2nd project manager went out on maternity leave, then said it was covid (sounded like a lie).
The new (3rd) Project Manager was knowledgeable but did not know he was not to upload code to my GCP server (until the project was finished), thus I ended up with a huge bill from Google, which Hyperlink refused to cover. Now the project has essentially stopped because they are claiming I requested a different payment platform (Stripe, instead of PayPal).

As described above, I only interacted with the 3 different project managers & the Hyperlink Infosys salespeople.

Nothing was delivered. This company is a scam. I spent >$10,000 and have nothing to show for it.

A complete mess! Project managers disappear. Zoho communication tool didn't work, had to use email. Complete Scam. Warning: stay away!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Nothing.

Yes, ensure the Project Manager does not change, and if so, then communicate with the client so you do not waste his time/money!!

We tried to provide the client free development after he posted review on clutch.co though the previous work was not in the scope he threatened us to do the work for free after posting the review on clutch and later on told us that he will update the review once we do this work for free.
Once we did his entire work he never turned up again we took 100 + followups including me myself CEO + the team leaders he never came again with us. This guy is unprofessional and we would never do business with him again.
Clutch.co should have atleast should have a policy to authenticate the reviews and verify with the vendor and the service provider. This would help Atleast to be fair from both the ends in this case the client has written whatever he wanted to write.

We were very ambitious about our requirements and are still working with them. We’re now on our second contract with them for another application. They were very dynamic in their responses. We needed a very robust database for analytics, which they created superbly. They were familiar with developing social media and compressing data, which impressed us as well.
They made the process very easy and were sure to include us in the process along the way. We were hands-on with them the whole time. Even if we had feedback on things we didn’t agree upon, they were very responsive and accommodating. Everyone I did business with was passionate and a pleasure to work with. At times, it felt like this was their own project. The quality they provided was phenomenal, addressing every single one of our comments and concerns.
My previous experience with another vendor left us disappointed but Hyperlink InfoSystem was an absolute dream come true.
They developed what we wanted, but we will be rebranding this particular app. Now, we’re working on a different product with them.

The project manager was a pleasure to work with. I could call them in the middle of the night with concerns while the app was live, and they’d answer their phone. That speaks to their work ethic. They were always available and had no off days.
When we started working together, I told them I wanted to use WhatsApp. They immediately understood and adopted it with their whole team for our work together. and it’s what their whole team used to communicate with me through. We can call them late at night with no complaints on their end. They apologize it wasn’t right the first time.

Not only did they provide excellent work, but I felt I made friends. I felt that I was working with people who cared about me and had the best interest of my business and employees at heart. That’s something money can’t buy. I’ve worked with some pretty big companies but have never enjoyed a collaboration as much as I have with Hyperlink InfoSystem.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hyperlink InfoSystem?
We were looking for a company to develop an application for the automotive industry in Honduras. Our biggest challenge was to create a business model capable of satisfying the needs that users have when requiring an automotive service / product.
When we shared our idea with Hyperlink, they guided us in the process of understanding the scope that we could have with our application, which we will launch for the Android and IOS platforms.
What were your goals for this project?
Provide a solution to all people with needs within the automotive industry. Allowing them to manage the purchase/sale of cars, search for spare parts and other automotive services including emergency services.
SOLUTION
How did you select Hyperlink InfoSystem?
Since the very beginning, Hyperlink showed great professionalism to fully understand the idea of developing our application. The sales team was proactive, responding quickly to each of our concerns. From the first meeting, the BA understood the flow that our application required as well as they gave us relevant suggestions to make our app the best one.
Describe the project in detail.
The main idea was to develop an application capable of connecting the needs of users with various providers in the automotive industry. Quick, easy and with the security of identifying the correct providers.
During the development of the idea, we provided the flow we wanted in the application and by discussing it with the Hyperlink team, they quickly understood the requirements and provided a satisfactory proposal. In addition to the main platform (app for Android and IOS) a Website in going to be develop with exactly the same features of the app.
What was the team composition?
A very well structure team was assign to our project. Starting with the sales process, they were always cordial and willing to help us with our needs. At this stage a BA was also involved to understand the requirements.
During the development there was a PM who was the direct contact during the whole process. The team of developers had Designers, Sr. programmers, Sr. web developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
So far, each of the project stages has been achieved with satisfactory results. The design of the application was well perceived by the first customers and the flow of the application is adjusted to what we wanted. Likewise, the prototypes and website have been well developed and delivered in the established time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Hyperlink assigned to our project a team specialized in each of the necessary areas to obtain the development of a top application. Starting from the design stage, we were satisfied with the results and delivery times.
During development, there was excellent communication between the teams and that helped us to improve our final product more and more. Hyperlink also provide great support and the team is always available to answer any question.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were impressed with the ease of understanding from the first moment. Hyperlink fully understood what we were looking for and quickly defined each of the functions and modules needed for our application. His understanding and experience in application development is broad and that was fundamental in our project.
Are there any areas for improvement?
All work up to this point has been excellent! We definitely hope to have a long-term relationship with Hyperlink and it will be without doubt our first option to develop future projects.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO and founder of KidCare. We have an app where parents can search for the best service provider closest to them. They can search by location, price, as well as the quality and reviews from other parents who have dealt with these providers.
We cover all kids’ providers like nurseries, daycares, babysitters, schools, afterschool activities, private tutors, and all types of kids services that parents usually struggle to find around them. We collect them all in one app where parents can find them easily and with good feedback from other parents.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?
Initially, I hired another company, but I struggled with the final product. I worked with them for six months and the end product was not satisfactory for me. It didn’t work smoothly and the way I was expecting for my app. I decided to look for another company to help me with the development of the application.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I was looking for an adjustment, but they advised that we rebuild it from scratch so that we can do anything we want. Instead of one app, they built two iOS/Android apps. One was for the service providers and the other for the parents to search.
They completely redesigned the prototype. Their package is very good because it includes such as the logo and landing pages in both Arabic and English. They were very patient and I worked with them closely when it came to translating the text.
What is the team composition?
My communication was with the project manager who then communicated with the designers. He translated all my requirements into digital input.
He was amazing. He was very fast, and everything was online. At that time, I was very busy at home,but he still made it very easy for me. I am very happy that I found them.
How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?
The first companies that show up on Google Ads made me feel like couldn’t trust them that much. I was worried that they would cheat or wouldn't deliver quality work.
Once I got in contact with the business manager, he was welcoming and explained everything to me. I tried to challenge them just to make sure they were the right company. I told them I would not pay or sign anything before I came and visit the company and see everything.
They said I could come and visit anytime to meet the whole team that would be working on the product. I flew there and we met the business manager and all the team members.
I went with the full details of my requirements. It was a very clear and easy meeting and I felt very comfortable because they said I could pay after each phase and not in one lump sum. I could stop the project and choose not to continue if I wasn’t happy and that gave me that sense of trust.
The company is huge. They have a lot of developers and designers, and they are very committed. I was really amazed by the company. After that, they began working on it.
How much have you invested in them?
The cost was around $21,000–$22,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
It began in mid-February 2020 and we finished at the end of April 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I am satisfied with their services and I would recommend them to anyone. With the lockdown, all the nurseries are closed and private tutors have stopped. Parents aren’t looking for providers, so it really wasn’t good timing to do the promotion for the application.
We are targeting service providers right now to collect the maximum number we can before parents start looking for care providers. The business model for my app is a monthly subscription from the providers but we cannot do this until we get enough service providers and members.
How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?
I worked directly with the project manager and he was my main point of contact. He translated everything to other people and transferred my requirements to the designers and developers. Communicating only with one person made it very easy for me. We used Skype to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They committed to the schedule and they delivered exactly on time. They were fast when replying to my comments and adjustments. They worked through the lockdown, and they were able to work from home while coordinating with other developers, which wasn’t easy.
Even after hours, they still made sure that I was satisfied and that they were meeting my requirements. They were amazing and very easy to deal with and they were very flexible. I have never worked with anyone like them before.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When we finished the project, I had asked them about my maintenance contract, but I think there was maybe a miscommunication as I was too busy with my graduation. Overall, everything was amazing, and I would give them 10 out of five.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure all the requirements are set from the beginning and ready to give to them because they have a contract which includes everything from the beginning which will save a lot of money because you will have to pay for any changes they make later on.
I gave them the maximum requirements and features I would need in the future, and then from the dashboard, I am able to make changes. From the beginning, you should ask for the maximum features you want. For example, I opened my app with full services, but later on, I am able to remove services and start only with nurseries and then add schools. If I didn’t do this from the beginning, I would have had to pay more money later on if I decided to add something.

We needed someone to develop an application for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with brainstorming. We had the idea, but they helped us with some parts. They did the design and then the actual development for both iOS and Android in addition to a control panel. They also took care of the testing part at the end.
For the frontend, they used Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS. They used Node.js for the API, PHP for the admin panel, as well as MySQL for the database.
What is the team composition?
I was in contact with eight members of their team. The team consists of the project manager, iOS developer, Android developer, graphic designer, QA experts, as well as the sales manager, technical analysis, and then web developers.
How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?
I searched online and looked at online reviews. We did a deep search in many countries and regions and we finalized the project with Hyperlink.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from October 2019–June 2020.

The problem in the software industry is that the metrics are more or less relative to the person receiving the work. In general, we use metrics such as comparing with the standard in the market based on our experience.

They were very good, especially when it comes to communication. They communicate very well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their support is impressive. I noticed when we were giving feedback or adding a new feature, they were very accommodating and supportive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Maybe in testing and QA in general. I wouldn’t say it was poor, but it wasn’t quite the standard that we were looking for.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say that they are very welcoming and very good in general, but do your own testing. We noticed some faults on the testing side after we tested the software on our end. We are very strict in testing and for the end-user small faults will end the project. The first impression is the last impression.

How did you select this vendor?
We selected Hyperlink Infosystem after doing a lot of research in market and getting inputs from our research team. Our IT procurement research team conducted a lengthy research activity which lasted for few weeks and then we finalized 10 companies to contact and Hyperlink was one of them.
We asked for relevant work examples and estimates to build our platform. The best thing we got from Hyperlink was their level of engagement and understanding the requirements. They asked us many questions and also given us suggestions which helped us to make our platform even better for our clients.

We are building a big platform consisting of Mobile app, website and our admin dashboard. This platform also has integration with multiple other third party providers from where we get live data to compare with our product data and showing an end result to our clients. The app will help our clients to learn about our products, check prices, use calculators and connect with our right team.
This app also helps users to schedule an online meeting with our team. The meeting is built inside the app and doesn’t need use of any other app. The meeting can also be organized with multiple users at the same time. So our representative can actually explain our product in a meeting to multiple clients.

We have already launched a beta app for specific user group and the response if superb. We are very excited and will be launching the next release in a month time. We are very happy with the dedication and commitment from Hyperlink team.

The workflow and communication between our IT team and theirs is excellent. We are always getting good valuable inputs from their team which is actually helping us to make our platform better every day

The most impressive thing would be their engagement and support provided to clients. We as a client never felt that we have hired another company to build our app. We are working as a single team and the level of communication and support in development stages are excellent.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I haven’t see any such area. Everything is well organized and support is awesome.
