We made four videos with Hunky Production. Each one had a different speaker and was an overview of the different services that we provide. They gave us a brief to fill in for each video. Because of that, we knew what we needed to do when we started to film. The objective of these videos was to make prospective clients understand what we do and get them on board.

We worked with them from December 2020–January 2021. We’ll reach out to them when we need more videos.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were satisfied with what we received. The videos were high-quality and got us good feedback from our customers.

How did Hunky Production perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was exceptional. We used Messenger for most of the communication and had calls through Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We haven’t worked with other video companies, so I can’t say what makes Hunky Productions stand out. However, we were satisfied with what they provided. They did everything well and had a good price-quality ratio — we got our money’s worth.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything was perfect.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The speakers need to understand the topic and rehearse before filming. The better prepared you are, the better the videos will be.

I am the technical and marketing director of HIPRA CIS, a global pharmaceutical company that produces vaccines primarily for the agribusiness industry. We are one of the biggest companies for animal health biotechnology.

My job is to develop our presence in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which includes Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other Eastern European countries.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hunky Production?

We needed to improve our presence on the internet since it isn’t easy to present vaccines or medical items to customers. Last year, after the COVID-19 pandemic began, we decided to enhance our online presence and use videos to be closer to customers. 

We decided to have our own Russian-speaking YouTube channel, separate from the international YouTube channel of HIPRA. In the CIS, not a lot of people understand English. We needed a partner that could help us create video materials and promote our YouTube channel.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hunky Production is helping us produce Russian-language videos about our products, and they also advise on how to make our videos better. Video production is not our expertise, but generally, we determine the strategy — what needs to be filmed and how it needs to be produced — and Hunky Production is in charge of production. 

The channel presented our approaches, vaccines, and new products; we also have videos on how to vaccinate animals and how to make a diagnosis. We also use corporate videos from our central office, and with Hunky Production’s help, we translate, adapt, and make them relevant to our market. Lastly, we publish webinars and vaccine instructions on our channel.

What is the team composition?

We work with our project manager, who organized everything. They provide us with the resources we need, like translators, operators, and designers.

A colleague from another company recommended Hunky Production. We chose them after several meetings with various companies.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent around $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around May 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have an organized and active YouTube channel that has more than 50 videos, and Hunky Production has been responsible for all our content. The channel is very useful to us because we can just share our videos with our clients, instead of repeating the same talking points every time we’re presenting something to them. Communication between us and our customers became more efficient, since our customers can actually see how they should do certain things. 

Our competitors tried a similar tactic, but they didn’t achieve similar results. We’re the only one who successfully launched a YouTube channel, and it has been a step forward. It was my idea to create the YouTube channel and I am very happy about it.

How did Hunky Production perform from a project management standpoint?

Hunky Production delivers everything on time. Also, I like having a clear project manager — a person who takes care of everything for us. They make it very easy to communicate, create a task, and reach out to them. They have a very good and personable team.

We communicate through phone calls, Telegram, and email. Generally, we keep everything in our common chat on Telegram — everyone is involved there, and they send links on that channel so everything is in one place.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like every product that Hunky Production has delivered — they are free from mistakes and don’t require improvement. They understand tasks and produce high-quality products very quickly. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with them. We had worked with other vendors before and they weren’t like that. Hunky Production has set the standard on how production services should be. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they need to push their customer to make a decision quicker. They are very kind to me; they could be more proactive in pressuring me when it comes to making decisions. Even though they give numerous reminders, my position is very complicated, and I handle many different projects. Sometimes I am so busy that approving a new video might not be my first agenda for the day. Of course, I can procrastinate and delay, but it would be better if they push me a little more

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Hunky Production to anyone who needs a production company. If you work with them, you will see results. They have a system and a vision, and they do everything on time.

I’m the marketing manager at PODAVACH. We develop and manufacture firearm accessories in Ukraine and sell them in the US.

We hired Hunky Production for video and photo creation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hunky Production created two short promotional videos and managed two photoshoots for us. They did these across two projects, which were for our existing and new products, respectively. Additionally, they handled the editing and provided us with the raw video material.

What is the team composition?

There were around 5–6 people from Hunky Production involved in our projects. We worked directly with the founder, who’s also the main manager and producer at Hunky Production.

Two people were responsible for the video recording – one was the director, and the other handled color correction. Another member created the script. Additionally, two people worked on the photos.

How did you come to work with Hunky Production?

Hunky Production’s founder got in touch with our CMO and presented their offer. They had good pricing and positive reviews.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost for both projects was $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The first project was in October 2020, and the second one in March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We ran the videos as Facebook Ads and looked at how long users watched and what percentage of users watched until the end. The first video had a good cost per impression (CPM) and increased our ad campaign engagement.

The second video was a presentation of our new products, and its performance was quite nice — it described our products very well. We didn’t get unnecessary questions from customers about the products, which was enough for us.

We don’t have any success measurements for the photos. Previously, we only used stock photos, so we were happy to move up to good-quality content.

How did Hunky Production perform from a project management standpoint?

Hunky Production had good management. They delivered everything on time, and if they couldn’t release something on time, they told us in advance. One time, we needed some materials faster, and they reprioritized to accommodate us.

We communicated through Telegram, and the communication was fast. During working hours, they had a response time of up to one hour.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hunky Production was very flexible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would’ve been great if they’d provided assistance directing the photoshoot because I didn’t have enough experience with that. However, I talked to them about this. We’ll have another photoshoot in two months — we’ll see if they made any changes.

Any advice for potential customers?

My suggestion is to discuss the entire project before the shoot takes place.

I’m the founder and CEO of an organization that optimizes business processes and implements CRM like Zoho, Bitrix24, Odoo, and amoCRM. We also do website development, digital marketing, and SEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hunky Production?

Our challenges were around PR. We wanted to produce videos showcasing our expertise, aimed at getting more clients and increase our sales. This is especially important when working with clients from other countries, who won’t see us face to face.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hunky is responsible for producing videos for our company. After we discuss the monthly plan with them, we write the scripts, and they produce around a video per week. They also promote those videos on YouTube.

In the videos, we share our expertise in CRM systems, website development, and digital marketing. We also talk about unique client cases. The main goal is to showcase our proficiency and have clients see us as experts.

What is the team composition?

They have a six-person team: a video operator, a sound engineer, a producer, an analytics expert, an editor, and their owner. The owner helps me whenever I have a question.

How did you come to work with Hunky Production?

Their owner contacted me on Facebook, and I liked his approach. We had a meeting at a restaurant, and I decided to give them a chance. I got other offers, but they were too pushy, and they only offered video promotion, not production. Hunky had similar pricing to the other providers, but they also offered video production and had much higher expertise.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of the videos depends on how well-prepared we are and what expertise we’re sharing. We evaluate videos by how well they rank and how many people stick around to watch.

We also look at how many leads we get to the website from the videos, and we’re getting more leads now compared to when we started, but not as many as we’d like. We do SEO for clients, so we know that it requires patience. Results are coming in, and we’re getting new clients from the videos.

How did Hunky Production perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through Facebook Messenger and Telegram. They give us a dashboard where we can see our achievements and goals each month. We get in touch at least once a day. They answer quickly whenever we have a question, even after working hours. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They answer fastly — I never have to wait very much for them. Secondly, they always take my feedback to heart and make improvements by the next time. I know the market and its players, and, compared to the other players, Hunky has a good price and much better expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I talked to their owner about improving the sound quality. Other than that, I appreciate Hunky’s work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s not like 20 years ago when someone would pay some money and get back the results. Now, the customer needs to focus on the project, too. My advice would be to have a project manager who can work with them.

Our engagement was a very spontaneous and last-minute decision for me. I found them very quickly through a recommendation on Facebook by a friend.

We spent $1,000 for the first video and another $1,000 for a video for my personal use.

Our collaboration ran from May 2018–May 2019.

I liked our relationship with Hunky Production because they delivered their outputs on time. I also appreciated their work, and we even received nice feedback from an external customer who recently ordered some items from our company.

Their project management process was good. We used Telegram to communicate.

They were creative, and they submitted the videos in a timely manner. A lot of times creative people don't work with timeframes, but they did everything perfectly. I highly recommend working with Hunky Production. You could relax and expect nice quality work from the team; you don't have to worry about anything.
