I’m the VP of business development for Green Leaf Business Solutions, an integrated payroll and HR company.

What challenge were you trying to address with HUB International?

We needed cyber insurance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

HUB International is our cyber insurance provider. They wrote a policy that protects our business against any type of cybersecurity issue. 

What is the team composition?

I work with three people, including a customer service liaison, an insurance agent who wrote our policy, and an underwriter. 

How did you come to work with HUB International?

We initially found them online and saw that they worked with the same types of companies we did, so we started a conversation. We’d been referring them to clients and then finally decided to do business with them.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent $3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

HUB International does a great job of being attentive and knowing what we might need. We measure their success based on their service and follow-up. Although once the policy is written, we hope not to use it, the HUB International team always checks in and asks if there’s anything else they can do for us. 

How did HUB International perform from a project management standpoint?

They do a great job with project management. Any time there’s been deadlines, like meeting that insurance policy, they’ve moved really quickly and put solutions in place for us. 

They’re also great communicators; we mostly use emails and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

HUB International’s professionalism and communication skills are highlights of working with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes they communicate too often or organize too many meetings. That said, I’d rather have overcommunication than not enough communication. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let HUB International know everything you want from your insurance and your plans for your business, and they’ll put together a policy that makes sense every step of the way.

This company covers accidents, administration, benefits plans consulting for employees, life insurance, and personal insurance. They have a large amount of knowledge, experience, and ability to develop customized solutions with an intimate and practical approach. They have earned the trust and respect of our company.

They help us manage costs and reduce administrative workload while maintaining compliance. We can involve employees, increase responsibility, and offer more choice and satisfaction.

Because they provide services to large and small customers, they can offer solutions that are sized to meet the needs of our customers.

They are paid on commission, normally calculated as a percentage of the premium paid to the insurer by the specific policy.

We use these services to improve employee benefits. That way, talents are retained and the company increases its profits. It has only been used for the company.

Our staff can avoid all those tasks that require too much time. It is important to maximize time to increase productivity.
