I am the business partner at Chordify, a product engineering company that works with web applications and AI.

What challenge were you trying to address with HikeQA?

We were looking for a remote development center with an experienced technical team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve completed several projects with HikeQA. HikeQA’s team has run QA on our automations and APIs. For each project, we’ve analyzed our QA needs before HikeQA began manually testing each product. 

What is the team composition?

We started with one teammate, but have since added three more. 

How did you come to work with HikeQA?

We were referred to HikeQA. They had the bandwidth to support our project and their quality testing was on par with ours, so we brought them on board. Also, they had established processes and were reasonably priced.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $70,000–$80,000 with HikeQA so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with ​​HikeQA began in April 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

HikeQA has QA’d more projects than we could’ve in-house — they always deliver what we need on time. They meet all of our project requirements, including our sprint timelines and resource allocation.  

How did HikeQA perform from a project management standpoint?

HikeQA works in sprints and is available via Slack whenever we need them. We track everything via Confluence and Jira, which makes it easy to see current and upcoming projects. Their team is prompt, and we never have to request project updates. HikeQA never misses a deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am impressed with how responsive HikeQA’s team is. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing negative to say about HikeQA’s work. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First, I’d advise any customer to hire HikeQA because their team is generous, responsive, and problem-free. They’re always on top of projects and are technically savvy.

HikeQA conducts manual and automated UI and API testings across our developed products. They utilize different QA and testing tools to ensure that each app runs smoothly and features are correctly integrated into our platforms.

We are working with about 20 resources from HikeQA, including their managers, leads, automation, and manual testers.

How did you come to work with HikeQA?

I worked with one of their co-founders when he was still under a different testing service provider.

We've spent about $300,000 so far.

Our ongoing partnership started in November 2020.

HikeQA enables us to deliver quality products to our clients continuously — their reliable QA expertise is one of the keys to our success. We're pleased to work with a team that understands our commitment to providing customers with zero-defect software products.

How did HikeQA perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Zoom and rely on Jira and Microsoft DevOps for project management. HikeQA is a highly participative and accommodating team. They offer valuable insights to help improve our product and delegate tasks effectively to meet our requirements on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're most impressed with the consistency of competence across every single member of their team.

They can work on providing better feedback on the performance of the products.
