Joe has also been very hands-on with everything. Between the website, Google, reviews, social media, and the overall strategy, it’s nice knowing I have one person I can call and he helps handle all of it. We’re still early, but I already feel much better about how City & Suburban looks online and how we’re positioned moving forward. Joe genuinely seems to care about helping the business, and that has made a big difference for me. I’d definitely recommend him and Hibu to another business owner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Although we're still early in the campaign, we've already received at least two promising customer inquiries through the new marketing. We've also launched a completely updated website, started targeting five important local search terms, strengthened our online reviews and social media presence, and now have tracking in place so we can actually see the calls and opportunities our marketing is generating. The biggest measurable improvement so far is that we now have a complete online presence working together instead of relying primarily on referrals and word of mouth.

Hibu has been very organized and responsive throughout the entire process. They were clear from the beginning about what was being built, what we needed to provide, and what we could expect as everything came together. The website and other pieces of our marketing were delivered within the timelines that were explained to us, and when we wanted changes or had questions, they were handled quickly. Having Joe as our main point of contact has probably been the biggest benefit. Instead of having to figure out who to call for the website, Google, reviews, social media, or anything else, we call Joe and he takes care of it or gets the right person involved. He's been very hands-on and responsive to what we need, which makes the entire process much easier for us.

What impressed me most about Hibu is that they don't look at each part of your marketing separately. They helped us understand how our website, Google presence, reviews, social media, and local visibility all work together and what potential customers are actually looking for when they research a contractor. The other thing that really stands out is having Joe as one point of contact for everything. He knows our business, knows what we're trying to accomplish, and if we need something, we call him and he handles it. It feels much more like having a marketing partner than just paying a company for a website or advertising.

As a busy automotive shop, our focus is on taking care of our customers and working on vehicles, not managing websites or marketing campaigns. Hibu helped us launch and establish the digital presence for Call Orthodontics, a new orthodontic practice in Washington, Utah. The scope of the project included designing and building our website, search engine optimization (SEO), online review management, lead tracking and follow-up, and ongoing digital marketing support. A major deliverable was a professionally designed, SEO-optimized website built to help prospective patients find Call Orthodontics through local search and easily connect with our office. Hibu also provides ongoing website management and has been very responsive when we request changes or updates. In addition, Hibu has helped manage our local SEO strategy, online reputation and reviews, and systems for tracking and following up with prospective patient leads. Mike, our Hibu representative, has worked closely with us throughout the process to coordinate these services, answer questions, and help us evaluate our marketing efforts as the practice grows.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since Call Orthodontics is a new practice, we are still early in the process of collecting long-term performance data, but we have already seen very encouraging results. Our website has quickly gained strong visibility in local Google searches for orthodontic services in Washington and the greater St. George, Utah area, which was one of our primary goals. We are also seeing prospective patients find and contact our practice through our online presence, and Hibu's lead tracking allows us to see where those opportunities are coming from and follow up appropriately. Our online reviews and overall digital presence have also grown quickly since opening. For a brand-new practice starting with essentially no established online presence, the early SEO performance, website visibility, lead generation, and growth in online reviews have all been very positive indicators that the project is working.

Hibu has been very reliable from a project management standpoint. They have consistently delivered the items they promised on time and have been responsive whenever we have questions, requests, or changes. One thing I particularly appreciate is how quickly their team responds when we need updates made to our website or other aspects of our digital marketing. Requests are handled efficiently, and communication has been consistent throughout the process. Mike has also been very accessible and proactive as our representative. He follows up regularly, helps keep things moving, and makes sure our questions and concerns are addressed. Overall, Hibu has done an excellent job delivering what they committed to and responding to the changing needs of Call Orthodontics as a new and growing practice.

What has impressed me most about Hibu is that we have actually seen our business move up in local search rankings, while also understanding the strategy behind that progress. They don’t simply recommend that we spend more money on marketing and then hide the process behind technical jargon. Mike and the Hibu team take the time to explain what we are investing in, why they recommend it, and how each piece fits into the larger strategy for Call Orthodontics. As a business owner, I really appreciate that transparency. It allows me to make informed decisions about where our marketing dollars are going and understand what we are trying to accomplish with each investment. The combination of measurable progress, transparency, and education is what has stood out most to me about working with Hibu.

The one area we would have liked to see improved was the initial aesthetic design of the website. We had a fairly specific vision for the look and feel of Call Orthodontics, and the initial design required some additional customization to get there. That said, Hibu has been very responsive to our feedback. They have made changes quickly and worked with us to personalize the website to better reflect our brand and aesthetic preferences. We are very happy with where the website is now, so while the initial design process could have been more aligned with our vision from the beginning, their willingness and ability to adapt has been a definite strength.

Bear Impact Roofing hired Hibu to provide website management and Local Ranking SEO services for our roofing company. The scope of work included the creation and maintenance of service area pages, on-page search engine optimization, keyword optimization, blog content creation, backlink development, Google Analytics setup, social media posting, and ongoing technical website audits. Hibu also provided a dedicated tracking number and managed our website and online presence during the engagement. According to the Statement of Work, deliverables included website audits, 404 error checks and resolution, sitemap creation, redirects and canonicalization, ongoing optimization efforts, Google Business Profile and Facebook posting, backlink creation, blog articles, and improvements in search visibility for selected keywords. The engagement lasted approximately five months before website management was transferred back to our previous provider.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the approximately five months that Hibu managed our website and Local Ranking campaign, we did not identify any legitimate customer leads attributable to the campaign. Calls received through the dedicated tracking number primarily consisted of spam calls, employment inquiries, and advertising solicitations. Throughout the engagement, we documented concerns regarding website performance and search visibility and obtained three independent website audits while the website remained under Hibu's management. Despite ongoing optimization efforts described in the Statement of Work, we did not observe measurable business growth or identifiable lead generation attributable to the campaign. After transferring website management back to our previous provider in March 2026, legitimate Google-generated leads resumed. We understand that SEO results cannot be guaranteed and that many factors influence business performance, but based on our experience, the project did not produce measurable outcomes that justified the investment.

Hibu maintained regular communication throughout the engagement and provided a dedicated account representative who was generally responsive when concerns were raised. Questions and issues were acknowledged, and support tickets were opened when website problems were reported. While communication was generally timely, we were disappointed that many of the concerns we raised regarding website functionality, search visibility, and lead generation were not resolved to our satisfaction. Despite repeated discussions and requests for assistance, we continued to experience ongoing performance concerns throughout the project. From a project management perspective, we appreciated having a consistent point of contact and receiving updates. However, we ultimately felt their responsiveness did not translate into meaningful results or accountability when concerns were supported by analytics and independent audits.

What impressed us most was the promise of a comprehensive solution. As a small business, the idea of having website management, SEO, content creation, and ongoing support through a dedicated representative gave us confidence and optimism at the outset of the relationship. We genuinely wanted the partnership to succeed and spent months trying to make it work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Hibu could have done differently?

Hibu could improve by placing greater emphasis on accountability and customer advocacy. We spent months communicating concerns, compiling analytics, and obtaining independent audits because we genuinely wanted the partnership to succeed. In the end, we felt that our concerns were defended rather than investigated and dismissed rather than addressed.

The issue was never that results were guaranteed. The issue was that accountability seemed to disappear when the concerns became well documented.

My experience working with Hibu was extremely disappointing and ultimately a waste of my time, money, and effort. I was initially contacted and encouraged to switch from my existing website to one they would provide, which was presented to me as a free, optimized solution that would improve my business visibility. However, after signing, I later learned from another representative that I was actually being charged for the website in addition to the marketing service all along.

Throughout our agreement, I raised repeated concerns that my business was being advertised in the wrong city. Despite paying monthly, my concerns went unanswered, and when leads did come in, potential customers believed my business was located in the incorrect location listed in the ads. As a result, I did not gain any new clients from the service I was paying for.

After four months, I requested to end the agreement. Although multiple representatives acknowledged that the ads were running in the wrong area, each person passed responsibility to someone else and claimed they didn’t understand how the mistake happened. I was told the issue would be escalated and corrected, but it never was. Instead, billing continued and payment was still demanded, with little interest shown in actually resolving the problem or providing satisfactory service. 

Even my sales representative, James, contacted me stating he would help resolve the situation, but after that conversation I received no follow-up or assistance.

Overall, my experience was frustrating, misleading, and unproductive.

They've also provided us with social media management (SMM), handling our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

We found them through a friend who referred us to RevLocal. Once we got the reference, we didn't look for other competitors. RevLocal seemed good at their job, and my friend was really satisfied with their Google Maps listing.

Hired RevLocal to increase Local Search Ranking. They claimed their strategies would help build real results by the time our 6 month agreement would end.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A Digital Marketing Agent arrived at my office on an off day and reached out to me via phone call. That's how discussions came about utilizing them to help market my business. He claimed they really specialized In helping local small business which gave me confidence.

Honestly, they utilize a pyramid graph to communicate and show you their results, percentages and analytics. In terms of what they did, the project steps and marketing tools were unknown to me.

Two Resources: In person I met with a Digital Marketing Agent two times and we spoke on the phone maybe 2 or 3 times. I never met with the Local Search Strategist in person, we spoke on the phone 4-5 times. Email apparently was the best course of communication for her so that's primarily how are discussions or conversations took place. She was the only one I truly spoke with.

Before I hired RevLocal I averaged anywhere from 3-5 new clients a month. I hoped to double that by the time my 6 month agreement ended and then I would reevaluate whether to continue using their marketing team or not. Unfortunately those numbers didn't increase because their strategies didn't work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I had a conference call once a month with the Local Search Strategist to go over ideas and strategies. The discussions we had never included what her or her team actually did or what their actual strategy was. Our phone calls always tended to end with something that I needed to do to help improve my rankings (Google or Facebook posts, upload pictures). I assume because whatever they were doing wasn't effective or efficient enough.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The strategist and consultant I worked with were non existent. I truly believe the consultant was new and inexperienced and the strategist was completely unaware of or lacked any knowledge at all in how to improve the strategies because nothing was working. Just a total lack of effort and concern. Not sure what can be done there, but a lot of improvement for sure. What else can I truly say when I have paid $3500.00 in 6 months to a company that didn't help broaden my business?
