I am the founder of the airbasket.com platform. The website facilitates international deliveries by connecting customer orders with travelers who can act as their couriers.

We needed help conceptualizing our idea and highlighting any possible problems. Then, we wanted to use that information to inform our platform’s design.

Ultimately, we wanted a development-ready design for our product.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for reliable agencies with the necessary skills to work on our platform from start to finish. Through some internal research and recommendations from others, we found Hexagon Agency. Based on their portfolio and client testimonials, we decided to hire them for the project.

Describe the project in detail.

In a brief introductory phase, we analyzed the project and created a proposal. Hexagon Agency created a series of user stories, operative flows, and branding and visual elements. They presented each iteration with a detailed explanation and we discussed the positives and negatives of each. Once they received approval for those elements, they started to create sitemaps, page structure sketches, and wireframes to create a cohesive UX/UI design. We reviewed their submissions and requested edits, which Hexagon Agency willingly took care of. We maintained this type of review-and-approve collaboration to make sure we were always on the same page.

What was the team composition?

We mainly spoke with a project manager and a design leader, but there were two other designers on the team, as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hexagon Agency delivered a well-documented design plan for our platform, which put us in a perfect position to start the development stages. Our internal marketing and development teams reacted positively to their work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project manager was our main point of contact. He was patient and detail-oriented in terms of project organization and documentation. He provided accurate estimates for both cost and time frames. Through consistent communication, we always remained up to date on our progress. The quality of their work made it clear that the Hexagon Agency team shared our vision for the platform.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team actively tried to develop a thorough understanding of our project before beginning any of the design work. This proved to beneficial for our project, as we started with only an idea. After listening to our pitch, they not only created a simple and modern design, but also one that aligned with our company’s values.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wanted to see more of the ideas and directions they came up with for our project, but because of their internal quality control processes, they wouldn’t share them.

I'm the CMO of Oazis Car, an eco-friendly car rental company. We offer new and recent models for business and personal use, serving both individual and corporate clients across Europe and the UK since 2016.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hexagon Agency?

We needed to develop a scalable international brand architecture and name. Our old brand was self-made, so we needed a proper brand and guidelines to give to our various contractors and agencies to work with. We also needed an international brand ecosystem and as many guidelines as possible.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hexagon Agency provided naming and domain suggestions. They also created a brand book for the main brand and sub-brands, including logos, fonts, icons, colors, dos and don'ts, guidelines for usage, tone of voice, and visual recommendations for images. In addition, they provided templates for ads and social media marketing (SMM) posts, as well as designs for car wrapping and some additional goodies.

We worked together from June 2025 to July 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Hexagon Agency successfully created our new brand. We launched a new website in Poland and launched two new countries with the new brand. Our CTR improved by 2 percentage points, although it's hard to link it only to the visual change because we built the whole new website. The wrapping of our cars increased the brand awareness among our target audience.

They delivered on time. Our project manager was proactive and well-structured. We mainly communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The level of professionalism and openness to finding solutions for various budgets was impressive. We also liked the creative ideas they developed for us. We didn't just get a logo; we got the big meaning behind it and the whole brand ecosystem to support it.

No, they were literally perfect.

To enter the market, we needed a comprehensive brand identity system—including a logo, fonts, patterns, and colors. Hexagon created social media templates to showcase this system in action. Everything aligned perfectly with our company's vision: organic, niche, and anything but boring.
