I’m the founder of a women’s technical apparel company based in Bozeman, Montana.

I hired them to help me establish my company’s branding.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Herefor provided us with branding services. First, they sent me a contract, and we decided what to keep and what not to. They also sent me a multi-page document that I filled out where I talked about my company, how I see it, and how I wanted it to feel from a customer perspective. From there, they took a look and what I shared and adapted a brand around that feeling. 

The team showed me four different variations of the brand. I selected one of those ideas and provided my feedback, and they implemented those changes. We had three revisions in total. They created our logo, wordmark, and brand colors.

I worked with everyone at Herefor: two designers and Jena (Director of Client Services), who was our main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Herefor?

I was introduced to them by a friend of mine who is friends with Jena. He connected me with Herefor, and we talked a few times over the phone and decided to work together. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $8,000–$10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–August 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We launched in May 2022, and I've heard nothing but amazing things about our branding — everyone loves it. Herefor's work is extremely fresh and feminine while also being rugged, which is what I wanted the brand to feel like. Even though we've only been around for a bit, we have a pretty good turnout on email lists and site traffic, with over 10,000 views to our site. We also have 600 followers on Instagram, which is pretty good for just a couple of months. 

Even though we haven't launched our products, our branding is grabbing people's attention and getting them to visit our site and Instagram and subscribe to our emails, which is great. Everyone is interested and intrigued by the brand, which is exactly what we wanted; it's pretty great to have this following based on only the look and feel. Herefor turned our brand into something better than I had imagined. Moreover, they were full of advice and insight, extremely detailed, and really easy to work with. They implemented feedback right away, and their turnaround times were impeccable. 

Herefor's process was seamless. The team was very organized, on top of it, and incredibly talented. They brought my vision to life in a handful of months. They were also incredibly dialed into the project. For every meeting, I came prepared with what I wanted, and they delivered on every single thing and exceeded my expectations. 

How did Herefor perform from a project management standpoint?

They were extraordinarily organized and extremely budget-conscious, which I appreciated. We used Google Docs, and they sent their deliverables in PDF form. As for communication, we used email and sometimes phone calls. 

I would also get on a Zoom call with the whole team, and we would talk about each element and design piece. I heard from everyone — it was a very collaborative experience. I loved having the designers there to listen to my take on things firsthand. Everyone got involved and was one every single call, which I appreciated. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I looked at many different agencies, and I never really got a sense of camaraderie as I felt with Herefor. We were speaking with people who would potentially bring our brand to life, so camaraderie was really important for us. Moreover, Herefor's pricing was excellent; I paid much less than I would have with other firms. 

What we got, how they delivered it, and everything they stood for was amazing. Herefor had driven, talented people who wanted the best for our brand and us, which meant a lot. As a startup founder, I needed to be conscious of money, time, and energy, and to work with three people who respected all of that was a win. They stood out because they were dialed, talented, and incredibly conscientious. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I was incredibly happy. Besides, when we had any feedback, they immediately implemented it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Branding is very important because it's the first thing people will see when they look at your Instagram or website. Work with Herefor because they can bring that to life authentically. You can talk to 10 other agencies, but I doubt they'll deliver the same variables and values that Herefor can deliver in a timely and economical way. 

I would also encourage you to be upfront and honest about what you want your brand to speak for, have, and feel like because then, the team will be able to bring that to life for you. Show up authentically and let them do their job while having your opinions and wants at the top of your mind.

I am the creative director focusing on branding, social media, and UX/UI.

For what projects/services did your company hire Herefor , and what were your goals?

We were looking to rebrand for our business by changing the name, logo, appearance, and move towards a completely new direction. We are hoping to make supplements less intimidating and easy to understand for women.

How did you select this vendor?

I came across Here For on Dribbble and I was impressed with their style and how forward thinking they were. I liked that they were a smaller agency and made me feel like they were focused on me.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

To start, they asked me some questions about our current branding and the questions were all straight to the point, there were few questions, but they knew exactly what to ask and what they were looking for from me to fully understand the direction I wanted to go. We started with 4 concepts and went from there with logo, packaging, swag, color schemes, social media, etc. It was very smooth and showing me all the usage really helped me pick which direction was right for my brand. I liked that they pushed back on certain things I was questioning, they didn't make any decisions just because they wanted to do something, it felt like they had true reasoning behind everything they did.

3 people in total. Client relations/project manager, + 2 designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I had a very difficult time imaging what I wanted my brand to look like visually, but they were somehow able to create something I am really happy with. I am the type of person that doesn't know what I want until I see it. They did a really good job at listening to me and creating things I love.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Jena did an amazing job at holding all parties accountable as far as timelines and things that were expected from our team. Everything was scheduled, they were punctual and communicated really well. I couldn't have had a better experience with project management.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They truly think outside of the box and want to create a brand that is unique and stands out from others. They care about our brand as much as we do and they truly want us to succeed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, I wouldn't change anything. I had a very positive experience and am very pleased with the outcome I received.

I’m the founder and CEO of a cocktail mix company. We make all-natural drink mixes for consumers.

What challenges were you trying to address with Herefor Studio?

We were looking for a design group to assist with brand identity and packaging. We had hired two designers, but they didn’t work out. We needed a large, professional, and communicative team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They began the process by providing us with a questionnaire to fill out so they could get a better idea of our company. They designed a logo and packaging design. This included mailers, shot glasses, and sachets for our products. They also designed other swag items and artwork. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people: Jena (Director of Client Services), Ryan (Creative Director), and Corey (Creative Director). 

How did you come to work with Herefor Studio?

I made a Facebook post in a CPG group and it just took off. I received about 30 responses from companies interested in the project. I narrowed it down to a list of about 5–10 studios that I reached out to. After I whittled it down to my top 3 studios, I felt that Herefor Studio’s style best fit my company. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in mid-July 2020, and we’re still working together. We’re almost done with this project, but I’m hiring them again for a new design project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They provided multiple design options, and it was actually difficult for me to pick one because all of their work was so good. We have the final artwork files, and I’ve shared them with internal stakeholders and potential retail partners. Feedback has been great. 

How did Herefor Studio perform from a project management standpoint? 

They’ve been better at communicating and hitting deadlines than almost any other company that I’ve worked with. They understood what we needed and provided exceptional customer service. They’re always on top of deadlines and make revisions quickly. They work with you to make sure you’re happy with the final product. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s hard to single out one characteristic that impresses me because they’ve been so great all around. I have to say communication and design are their most impressive attributes. They’re the best designers that I’ve ever worked with. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They’re perfect.

Make sure that your communication is good. You need to convey to them what you need if you want something specific.

My business partner & I checked out a few different branding options, ranging in price and expertise. Herefor was our pick for a lot of reasons but their knack for a beautiful, effective design and easy to work with vibe helped us get to a YES.

Herefor has three folks on board at the moment. Jena is a fantastic communicator and coordinator. She helped us get our project to the finish line while conveying what we were looking for the two other talented folks on the team.

Corey & Ryan are both stellar, creative designers. I really liked how they brought our personality to our jars and our overall branding.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I appreciated that this team was multitalented, and very good at listening and switching gears when we were honing in on the look and vibe we were going for. I am excited to be able to continue to work with them on future projects, and put our best foot forward with Herefor.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Jena had an awesome timeline/flowchart that she used to keep us all on track, especially with a tight timeline we were up against. Also, them granting us patience when we had other irons in the fire that needed tending to was very helpful. I appreciated their flexibility.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their dynamic and the way they really jived together and understood each other very well, so it made getting on board with our goals smooth for all.

We have worked with Herefor on a variety of projects. The first being a brand identity and product packaging product for a start up. That in itself is a challenge and they were not only brilliant at visually articulating the strategy and the client'g thoughts, but also in navigating something that they were very close to to get to a solution that they loved.

Happy Clients! The Muniq client and Participate client are both so happy with the work and have implemented across all platforms. Herefor made We First look good and continues to do so:-)

Great - very helpful, very accommodating, flexible and nice to work with. It's why we keep coming back with more work!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're down-to-earth people doing good work. We are the same and we want like-minded people around us. The design work has been spot on and very considered which is important to us.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Food Safety Director for our company. We are located in Somerton, Arizona. We have been in the agriculture field for over 100 years.

For what projects/services did your company hire Herefor?

Our company was expanding our product line and we in need of assistance with branding. We wanted to take our product and update the packaging so that it would appeal to a broader audience.

What were your goals for this project?

We are in the process of expanding into larger markets and knew that we needed to take our branding and packaging to the next level. An updated logo, website and package design were our goals for this project.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I began our search for the perfect vendor through acquanintences I had met at a conference and then through a Google search. I was then recommended to work with Herefor. Three companies were considered for the project. Herfor stood out with their overall energy, enthusisam and portfolio. The portfolio highlighted a modern look that was just the direction that interested our decision makers.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Herefor was flexible when it came to guiding us through the branding process. In-house we came up with concepts that we liked that were already in the industry. This gave Herefor an idea of concepts that appealed to us for our brand. Multiple phone conversations took place that allowed Herefor to lead us through the creative process. Herefor was able to create just the look that were were wanting for our brand. We were thrilled with the outcome and felt that it was a true representation of our company.

What was the team composition?

A team of three people were involved from our company to make decisions and oversee the project. Myself and one executive were hands-on throughout the process, with the third team member and CEO were given an overview throughout the process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The branding campaign has been well received by all involved. The packaging is vibrant and surely showcases that our product comes from the desert.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked with Jena on a regular basis and then met with the rest of the creative team when discussing details about the design and with shareouts. Herefor was very open to feedback. They were able to work with the feedback and provide us the logo and packaging that we needed for our company.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Herefor is a company with several strengths. They stand apart from others in the industry with their creativity and sense of the industry. Herefor does an excellent job with creating a concept and being able to roll it out and make it a reality. The company is full of energy and ideas that allow a company to go in the direction needed to be a success.

Herefor was a wonferful company and hope to continue working with them in the future.
