In our case, graphic design was important to us because we had no content at all. Here you can give a little more creative and even crazy ideas in the layout of the web site

Heads is responsible for making my company and our clients look good- literally. Alpha Alias used to have multiple design vendors specialising in various areas of expertise. Since working with Heads, there is no need to manage relationships with other companies- they do it all, and they do it really well. In particular, Heads has designed UX/UI experience layouts for many of our clients, including design structure, conversion optimisation, layouts for mobile, tablet, laptop, widescreen, ultra-widescreen and hyper-responsive experiences. Key deliverables are typically goals analysis, wireframes, branding, customer journey, UX design, UI design and managing relationships throughout the design cycle. They are an exceptional company that I trust with my clients.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Quantifiably, I measure the success of Heads by the amount of money I make as a result of their work. Heads has always delivered great ROI for Alpha Alias, and I've never felt they are a "cost".

Qualitatively, I measure the success of Heads by the satisfaction of my clients and how they manage their relationship with me. My clients are consistently wowed by what they deliver, and I am proud to have them as my exclusive design vendor. Heads makes us look good every time.

Heads has a habit of over-delivering (I have been telling their CEO he'll make more money if he charges people for the extras). Heads is always on time with deliverables, and often early- giving me extra time to work with them on small details ahead of client reviews. I've never heard Heads say "that's not in scope", or "we can't do that." Because of that, I proactively tell them I will pay them for extra work when I know that it's extra. (I really hope they start charging in a way that is fair to themselves!)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I could talk about the quality of their work again, but I'll use this section to mention what I consider the differentiating factor about Heads: Relationship Management. My primary point of contact is the highest-ranking member of the company, but even when I am working with the wider team, I feel that they want to do right by me. It always feels good to talk to them, and I'm always smiling after I end a call with anyone from the team. I am impressed with their natural ability to make me feel like I am special, even when we don't have active projects. And, as someone who has worked with many design vendors over the years, it is unique to find a company that is not only a great culture fit, but delivers high-quality work consistently. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Heads Company could have done differently?

Absolutely. I am very disappointed with how Heads fails to charge me for the extra work they do. I make money because of their work. They should always charge me for the extra effort! They could improve by charging like everyone else does. Their CEO will probably apologize for his English skills, but I can tell you firsthand that his English is excellent and it has never had a negative impact on our work. He's fun to talk to.
