I use thumbtack and selected Hashtag Systems from 5 other firms.

I went on Bing to look up companies that offer webdesign and development. I selected thumbtack to help me select the best vendor I talked and emailed with 5 companies and then selected Hashtag systems as I thought there were the best fit They started communicating with me during the first phase, web design and throughout the second phase (website development). Very responsive

Website was accepted and utilized.

Responsiveness and attention to detail.

I think a step should be added into the process where they audit the client's request and tell him issues in what they they're asking for.

Hashtag developed our entire site start to finish.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They were willing to construct a couple pages for free to show us their work.

We collaborated with them on the layout of the site as well as functionality. We told them what we wanted and they worked to find a solution to every problem. They integrated api’s , auto responses, and payment solutions

We are very happy with the results. They are communicative and work quickly

How did you select Hashtag Systems Inc and what were the deciding factors?

I liked that they had a local representative and good development support offshore.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The most significant project was additional development on a custom calculator. I had had the calculator built by another company, but there were a few significant items that needed re-working. Hashtag was able to pick up where the other developer left off and complete the calculator, at a very reasonable cost and in a very quick time frame.

Hashtag's web admin is doing a great job keeping the site looking good, and their app developer made the calculator work perfectly.

I am the President of our vintage, farm-style collection sales business. We have been in business for more than ten years and provide indoor and outdoor furnishings and product from throughout the U.S., along with imported goods.

We searched for a firm that could integrate our retail operations with our Shopify (online) account, offering seamless internet-based browsing & purchasing. 

Our ever-changing product line, coupled with countless photographs and need to direct customers between web pages presented unique challenges for our prospective web developer.

Hashtag’s experience developing web sites similar to those we desired, their responsiveness to our request for proposal, and their pricing and resource (staff) commitment led to our selection of their services.

Throughout the development process, Hashtag provided two staff that worked with us directly and responded quickly to our inquiries.  Not only were these staff members responsive, but they were also eager to assist us and were a pleasure to work with.

Hashtag exceeded our needs and designed an eye-catching web site that successfully integrated our Shopify retail operations.

Their staff magically designed a web site that reflects our vision and product line.  Just as importantly, Hashtag staff provided ‘how-to’ guides so we may revise various aspects of our website in the months and years ahead.

Bust most impressive were the interpersonal skills of Hashtag staff and their demonstrated desire to exceed our needs; it was if we were working with our good neighbor.

To create a website for my small business.

What were your goals for this project?

To have a nice looking easy-to-use website where clients can learn about classes, find useful resources about stories and writings, and register for classes.

How did you select this vendor?

I found the vendor through Thumbtack.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They designed a website, modifying a WordPress template, using the colors, photos and copy I selected. Upon completion, they taught me how to use the software to update the website myself.

What was the team composition?

About a half dozen people worked on the website. I worked primarily with two people on the front end.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I don't know yet the impact of the project, as it was completed during the confluence of the coronavirus shutdown and the Black Lives Matter demonstrations. As a result, I haven't yet promoted it much.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We mostly worked through Slack, where people working in dfferent locations and in different roles could ask each other questions and respond to each other. It worked quite efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very responsive, listened well to my requests, and promptly attended carefully to detail. They did beautiful work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I am very happy with their work. There were some difficulties transferring the completed website to my host, but they persisted and eventually worked out the details.

They set up a Zoom meeting with me right away and really listened to what I wanted. I sent them some websites that I liked and they were able to build me one that took the essential elements and improved upon them. They worked very quickly and were very responsive to my edits. If you are a small business, I would recommend having Hashtag build your website for you!

Our website improved our online presence and we could see our online ranking had improved compared to our older static website.Google analytics reports shows our page traffic has improved over time.Plus posting contents have become easy on the new version of the website.

Though they have a team working on our project most of our interaction happens with a project co-ordinator. Hashtag uses multiple collaboration tools which allowed us to communicate effectively.

They are a well-structured team with a great process. We are inspired by their process and productivity tools and adopted few in our business as well.

They approached us through LknkedIn. I was already living in India and working with a bunch of developers there but Rajeev and I bonded over Sunnyvale, CA where he lives and where I was before India.
