I came to Perry with a scattered vision of what I wanted for a product launch video - after many failed attempts to create myself. In just a few weeks, we had a great filming day across multiple locations - blending offices for interviews and on the field for highlights. Within a few weeks, the final product was delivered with almost zero edits / revisions.

We're waiting on a few product fine-tunings before posting the video - really excited to see the impact it has. Everyone I have showed loves it.

Phase 2 was filming me working on 3 separate models demonstrating facial techniques as well as filming the overall look of my facial studio.

To say I am happy with Perry and Reese of Harry & Marv Media is an understatement. I'm elated with the work they created for me! They listened and were able to bring exactly what I dreamed up into reality and their work ethic and professionalism was off the charts. I cannot wait to make more creations with them and cannot recommend them highly enough. If I could give them ten stars I would!

Perry and Reese's personalities were a perfect fit for my own.  Their professionalism on the day of the actual shoot astounded me.  Their work ethic matched my own and I find mine to be higher than other creatives I've worked with in the past.  Combining brilliant artistic abilities with reliability is like finding a needle in a haystack and they check that box!

At this time, I'm so thrilled with the work they created for me and the timely manner they delivered it in that I have no cons to share after this particular project.

We have used them for 5 quarterly video productions and we have been very impressed with the quality of the production, their communication, and timeliness.

The experience they had in productions similar to our needs were a contributing factor in our initial hiring, but the positive experience and exceptional quality produced is the reason we keep using them.

We shoot 15 short movement videos and 15 short educational explanation videos. They arrive and set up all the gear and assess our framing needs and lighting needs.

I think the most impressive thing about working with them is how easy it is from start to finish. They communicate, show up on time and prepared and are very pleasant and kind to talent.

I do not have any improvements to share. We plan to use them moving forward and have completed 5 projects with them.

Our company was hosting a technology team off-site summit and we wanted to capture some employee interviews to help recruit and hire the kind of talent that the video would resonate with. We also had a client in the vicinity that we wanted to record a client testimonial while we had folks in Austin, TX.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production teams in the Austin area via Upwork. A team member found Harry and Marv and we were impressed with their reel of work. I first meeting/interview with them went well and we proceeded immediately.

We had a setup call. Went thru video goals for both shoots. Provided a a video style guide. Established timeline for recording, editing, revisions, and delivery.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked directly with Perry on the video edit and revisions. Versions were shared via Google Drive and edits relayed via a shared Doc. The process was very smooth and communication was clear.

The videos have been well received internally and are awaiting public release on our social platforms.

I felt confident in the project management on Harry and Marv's side. They were prepared with questions when we did meet and never repeated any incorrect info or details. They were available by phone, video and email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They delivered precisely what we were looking for. Their turnaround time was also impressive. The most impressive thing was there was a hiccup on one of the shoot days and the videographer we expected to be there couldn't make it due to an emergency, but Harry and Marv were able to replace and deliver exactly what we were looking for without any worry from our side!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with Harry and Marv. The only thing I could think to improve is maybe some sort of video review/commenting platform (like Frame.io) were versions are more clearly hosted and comments could be timestamped and collectively seen, rather than sharing via a Google Drive. The Google Drive solution was not a problem though.
