Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing manager of Bridger Brewing, a brewery in Montana with the ability to can and distribute across the state.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hardy Brands?

We needed help in rebranding our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we sat down with Hardy Brands to discuss what our brand stands for. We then communicated what we wanted to communicate with our brand and how we wanted it to look. They then worked with us to develop our brand’s aesthetic. After that, they put together a board with all our ideas, and we picked which ones we liked. 

Using our feedback, Hardy Brands created our brand from the ground up. They made logos, slogans, color palettes, and fonts. They also gave us an in-depth and detailed brand book, allowing us to understand what our brand means.

Additionally, Hardy Brands overhauled our website. They uploaded new images on our site using professional photography. They also redesigned our merch, business cards, and other marketing materials. Currently, they’re helping us redesign our new brewery.

I work with Tyrel (Owner & Creative Director), Ciera (Account Manager), Jen (Brand Execution Strategist), and Erin (Senior Graphic Designer). 

How did you come to work with Hardy Brands?

They were referred to us. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $180,000.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before working with Hardy Brands, we’ve had an old-fashioned website — now, I can say that our site is one of the best for a brewery. Their work on our website has even won them some awards. Our website looks phenomenal, and its traffic has also increased. 

In addition, Hardy Brands’ efforts have solidified our brand and increased our brand awareness. They’ve run some surveys, and we’ve received positive brand awareness scores. Folks are responding positively to our brand. 

How did Hardy Brands perform from a project management standpoint?

Hardy Brands’ project management has been phenomenal. They’re very professional, and their team is always prepared for meetings with very detailed agendas. They’re also punctual — if I ask them to do something, they do it right away. We use email and Microsoft Teams to collaborate. 

Everyone from Hardy Brands has a different skill set, and they complement each other. Their team is time- and detail-oriented.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hardy Brands’ branding expertise is impressive — they’re very good at what they do. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Prepare for meetings — they will be discussing a lot of content, and it’s important not to get sidetracked during those occasions.

I’m the regional president of Blue Collar Restaurant Group, and we have four restaurants in Bozeman, Montana.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hardy Brands?

We engaged with Hardy Brands to spearhead our rebranding and new brand strategy efforts. We also wanted them to design our company and individual restaurant concepts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

For each deliverable they’re developing, we start with strategic discussions around the project’s goal and the scope of the project is dependent on that. Their services include naming, consulting, and web design, which goes into a lot of areas of our business. So far, they’ve designed our business card, letterhead, menus, and gift cards. They’ve also provided trademarking services.

What is the team composition?

We’re probably working with six people, including their account managers, graphic designers, support staff, and more.

How did you come to work with Hardy Brands?

I met the owner of their company in our restaurant.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent close to $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in July 2017, and we continue to collaborate.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have any quantitative results about their work, but I vouch for them regularly because I’m a big advocate of their service. In particular, their proactive reputation management has been impressive.

How did Hardy Brands perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a great project management process; they’re very organized and timely. We usually communicate through Google Meet and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hardy Brands has strong creative capabilities, and they have a deep understanding of our brands. Since they know us really well, they’re capable of representing our company better than their competitors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re pretty happy with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Understand that they offer premium services such as brand consulting, brand strategy, and brand design. They don't offer the most cost-effective services, but they produce high-quality work. As a result, if you just need a simple graphic design, there are more cost-effective options out there.
