Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Pricing at Notion Capital, a venture capital firm of SaaS entrepreneurs and operators turned investors. We invest in what we know and love: European SaaS and Cloud.

For what projects/services did your company hire Halwachi Design, and what were your goals?

We needed an external provider to complete the full design and development of the website as we lacked the resources internally to do it ourselves.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Halwachi Design as they were a smaller agency and we felt they could give us a more personalised and faster service compared to the larger agencies we were used to working with. They also had a proven track record of designing and developing custom websites on Webflow very quickly and to a high standard.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We conducted a discovery meeting with Yousif at Halwachi Design, where we broke down the project scope. Following this, we were sent a proposal that included 3 package to choose from. We were happy to go ahead so once contracts were signed and payments were made, Halwachi Design started working immediately. After one week, they had designed and developed the basic website structure on Webflow, enabling us to suggest edits to the layout, design and content. We had a catch-up meeting every week and HD completed the website two days before the deadline.

We worked with Yousif, the Design Director during the project from start to finish. He was the first point of contact who also managed the project, designed the website and developed the website on Webflow.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed on time which was a big win for us. It was also a smooth process and they were very quick to make adjustments we asked for throughout the process.

Friendly and approachable but also structured. It's clear Yousif has a lot of experience running these processes so it went very smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked their style of project management and their willingness to may small tweaks along the way. They were also very quick, delivery the project in the time we agreed. They delivered on what they said they would deliver in the time they promised.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. We had clear requirements and they delivered.

As the Head of Marketing & Brand, I lead the marketing function at S&S, ensuring the marketing strategy is aligned with broader business goals, driving marketing-influenced revenue whilst telling stories that are uniquely S&S.

S&S is a Change Delivery and Execution Partner. Born as a rebellion to transformation failure and outdated consulting models, we help our clients correct this alarming trend and successfully bridge the gap between investment and value realisation.

For what projects/services did your company hire Halwachi Design?

Following the global financial events that took place during the pandemic, we wanted to promote to companies who may need our help. We have used Halwachi Design a few times in the past, so we hired them again to design a 28-page brochure in both digital and print-ready formats.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have used Halwachi Design multiple times in the past and so we were confident using them for this project. We liked their high-quality work, speed of completion and flexibility.

Following a discovery session where I shared the content with Halwachi Design, they spent the next couple of couple of weeks working on the brochure. When they sent back the first draft, we only needed one round of minor revisions and then the final product was sent in PDF formats ready for online and print.

We worked with Yousif during the project from start to finish. He managed the project, worked on the brochure design and communicated with me personally throughout the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Halwachi Design was able to finish the design in a very tight deadline and to a high standard that we are happy with. As we have just shared the brochure, we do not have any other outcomes to share.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Our team communicated with Halwachi Design through Google Meet and emails. We found this to be good enough to get the job done.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Halwachi Design understood our brand well from the get-go. They also work very fast and frequently over-estimate how long projects take. This meant that we didn’t have to go through multiple revisions and always received designs that were high quality and completed before our deadlines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

On the whole very happy considering the time it took.

Yousif stood out from the rest in his understanding of our requirements and in his advice and suggestions. He was very flexible but always delivered to a high standard and on time.

An extended colour palette that I'm very happy with, and great looking document templates, along with some new visual elements to use going forwards on our website etc.

They were very professional and had really good turnaround times. They had creative ideas too

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

With hindsight, we could have set things up to work a little more collaboratively from the start, but we got there in the end!
