 The goal is to take over from our internal accounting team and monitor all aspects of our company's accounting. This includes recording all transactions between our bank accounts, QuickBooks entries, and our LeanLaw account. The responsibility is to maintain a constant, up-to-date balance sheet of our company and an accurate account of all contributing factors involved in that process.

Additionally, the role involves managing all aspects of our CRA filings and execution, handling payroll and employment submissions, and interacting with any third-party teams. The accountant will also be responsible for preparing and submitting all tax filings as required.

They kept giving me the run around, misinformed me on steps I needed to take, and managed to delay my timeline by months.

Stop assigning junior accountants to cases that require attention to detail. Maybe get a CRM to help you track simple information about your client so your accontants aren't asking silly questions - total loss of confidence in the accountant and the firm.
