Adjust Media provides us with digital marketing services, including social media marketing (SMM) on Facebook Ads, email marketing, and SMS marketing. Initially, they started only with SMM, but as our engagement has grown, they’ve incorporated email and SMS marketing with a more hands-on approach. Although the team primarily executes our strategies, they provide feedback based on their experience. 

They help us produce ad assets and write the copy; they always send it to us for review to ensure it fits our language. For the past three years, they’ve also created content calendars.

Uri (Owner) has been our go-to contact from the beginning. We’ve also worked with 5–15 more teammates from Adjust Media throughout the engagement.

We started our business by selling T-shirts out of a basement, and at the time, we reached out to many providers and tried a few things at once. Then, we found Uri and the Adjust Media team and knew they would work for us; they tailored to us, even though we were different than the other companies they were working with.

We spend just under $10,000 a month with them, with higher or lower investments for some months. In total, we’ve spent between $500,000–$600,000 with Adjust Media.

We started working with them in 2015, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We use Facebook Ads' numbers to measure Adjust Media's success. Feedback is also very important; we can tell if a campaign will take off based on the response at the initial stages, so we know if they'll do well in the long term. We've never had to worry about negative comments with Adjust Media's work. At first, when we didn't have a review app set up, the team monitored the comments and let us know about the positive comments we missed. Now, we have a review app. 

In the beginning, their copy language was too polished. However, they've learned our voice over the years; now, they know us, how we talk, and how we interact with our audience. When they send us copy, we approve it almost immediately — we almost don't have to check anymore. As a result, they've run very successful campaigns for our best seller products.  

We didn't work together for some time last year because we sold the company. Recently, the new owners brought me back on the team, and my first order of business was to reengage Uri and the Adjust Media team; the numbers have been great since then.

How did Adjust Media Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is wonderful; they're always on top of things, tell us when they need something, and even adjust when we're late. Adjust Media keeps the process on track with the timelines, reeling us in when we drift off. 

Most of our communication is through email and phone calls, and we've recently started using Slack together. Uri gives us a call or texts us when they need to get a hold of us. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've used Zoom calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

My biggest takeaway from Adjust Media is how they work with many different brands to ensure their work is not plug-and-play. The campaigns they've run for other brands are completely distinct from ours; they tailor their work to their client's needs and strengths. While other providers might use a template and change the names, Adjust Media really focuses on what we do well and runs with that. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would love it if they could visit us more often to see what we do behind the scenes. Although they're not local to us, they're not too far, and Uri has come to our warehouse to get a feel for our production. However, we understand why they don't visit as often. Overall, we've never had a problem with their work, so it's been a great partnership. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

One of my first questions to Adjust Media would be what other companies they work with. While you may think they don't fit your market niche, seeing their vast repertoire will be eye-opening. They know what they're doing and can apply it to many different levels.

They’re wonderful at project management. Adjust Media tells me when to raise and lower my budget, going by their name and constantly adjusting according to performance. As for communication, we use emails and phone calls, and they’re very responsive. 

When some teammates left their company, and new people came into the project, the transition was very smooth.

Adjust Media gets work done and is very creative. Moreover, they’re really nice people. I can only say good things about them.

Our company needed a boost after a very challenging year. Having worked with the Adjust Media team on previous occasion with one of our other brands, I knew that if there is anybody that can get us back on track, it is Uri and his team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Working with the Adjust Media team resulted in more sales in one week than what we had in three months. We can now continue to build on this success and increase our revenue.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team is in constant communication with us and provide feedback and recommendations frequently. Ads and budgets are constantly adjusted to encourage increased ROI’s. Any questions or concerns are always immediately addressed and carefully explained.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I can confidently say that Adjust Media is just as invested in my success as I am. You will have to search hard and far to find another company that will give you the same level of attention, experience and dedication. The results speak for themselves.

They stay within budget and deliver things on time for the most part; we communicate via phone calls and Microsoft Teams. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very data-driven and are good with creatives. When we give them our raw videos and assets, they create great ads. They’re also very consistent about reporting and keeping us updated with how everything is performing and if there is any feedback. Adjust Media Inc. is really good about letting us know what is being said in the comments and if we need to update anything.

If our products are selling out quickly, they try to stay on top of that, and they track what kinds of videos work well in terms of conversions so that we can continue to send them more of that content. Overall, they collaborate effectively with us to optimize the account performance.

We wish they would be a little more mindful of our budget, but this isn’t an issue all the time.

Make sure you set up your KPIs and they’re sticking to those.

We interviewed 10 companies and found Adjust Media to be the best fit for just at the time. We wanted a partner who understood paid ads and email and someone who could help us grow to the next phase of growth.

Adjust Media worked on our acquisition strategy by crafting and editing content to run for our paid ads on Facebook. They also set up and managed all of our paid ads campaigns on Facebook, Google, and TikTok. For our retention strategy, they designed, wrote copy, and managed all of our emails in Klaviyo. They were managing the flows as well as sending 2 campaigns per week. We would have weekly calls and weekly updates on key metrics and progress.

I worked closely with the founder Luis. I would have a call with him and his right hand guy Artem once per week. They also had a team working on content production and another person on email.

We started with Adjust Media doing low 6 figures in yearly revenue. They helped us scale our ad spend and get our revenue up over 7 figures per year.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly meetings and communicated almost daily on Slack. Adjust Media is a high touchpoint team, very responsive, and act like an extension of your team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They took on the big task to manage and scale our paid acquisition and retention strategies with high-quality outputs. It's not easy task to manage all ad content, manage ads, and run email for a small team.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

As we grew, we needed more attention in certain areas. There could be more attention given to having more focus on creative execution and strategy, which I know they are working on since this is the biggest lever for any DTC brand.

Ad buying right now isn’t easy; there was a time when people could buy ads on Facebook or Instagram and get an easily understandable outcome, but that’s not the case anymore. We’ve had challenges growing, optimizing, and getting the sales we need. What makes Adjust Media successful is that they work really hard and are highly committed to helping us overcome those challenges. The team is invested in the project and wants to see us be successful — they’re a real partner.

They could further build their portfolio. The more they work in a particular vertical, the easier it’ll be to understand. Additionally, I’d love to see them take on more creative work. However, what makes Adjust Media great is their commitment, so we can rest assured that they’re working on our account.

In this changing industry, cyclical as it is, it’s difficult to give specific metrics. We are very happy with the way they’ve transparently managed the budget.

In terms of communication, we primarily use Slack, but we also use Trello and have regular meetings with them. When changes are being made to ads they communicate the “why” behind the success or failure of those particular ads to the best of their ability.

Every month they create content from scratch and manage my Facebook and Instagram accounts. Before I brought them on board, I dabbled in Facebook ads a little bit but didn’t fare well. It had been well over a year since I had run any Facebook ads before engaging Adjust Media. I now give them content in the form of photos and videos, but their team creates all of the text and final visuals.

We had gotten to a point where the business was declining. I wasn’t finding new customers quickly enough to keep the business operating at a profit. We increased my subscriber base by 25% within our first month with Adjust Media. They have done a phenomenal job of finding the audience that was specific to my business. We have been growing ever since, and it has been a pleasure to work with them.

I don’t feel like I need to micromanage. I trust Uri to deliver on what he says. He provides reports, and he is continuously tweaking and creating new ads. I think they have a productive workflow. From my side, being a busy entrepreneur and a mother, I can back off and give them what they need while knowing that work will get done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

This is my third time working with a company like Adjust Media, and I believe that they care about my business. I know that marketing is a numbers game, but I really trust Uri, and I personally really like him, so it makes it very easy to work with him.

No. I haven’t run into any issues with them in over a year. Uri is always available and understanding.

Do your research and try to be as educated on the specific marketing you are looking so that you can make an informed decision about the investment. I think that even if you aren’t very familiar with marketing, Uri does a great job of explaining what he is doing. You don’t feel like you are being sold to all the time. He is sincere and will tell you if the ads are working or not.

After just one month collaborating with Adjust Media, sales tripled. Our ROI has increased from between $3–$7 per ad spend to $24 per ad spend. At one point, the team was creating such effective ads that we couldn’t keep up with production. They’re great at reaching our audience and creating new ways to target customers, which has dramatically increased our interactions and engagement on Facebook.

Adjust Media performed very well. They communicate effectively and meet all deadlines. Their team is responsive—we always get answers to questions right away. They’re passionate about what they do, which shows in their work.

Their care and concern for their clients are their greatest assets. Adjust Media isn't only interested in making money, but also wants us to succeed. I would never use another advertising company. They really make you feel like a partner, offering great business advice. They provide wonderful service and make us feel like family.

If anything, I would recommend they offer a graphic designer on-site because it would be an awesome service to add.
