I’m the founder/CEO of an e-commerce beauty retailer. We sell South Asian products for skincare, hair care, cosmetics, and wellness.

Our start-up brand needed a website to be developed that incorporated our model of partnering with brands at a variety of levels. We also needed a marketing plan to be developed and implemented. Our goals were to provide a website and marketing strategy that would create brand awareness and launch excitement.

I selected this vendor based on positive reviews from peers and word-of-mouth. Their professionalism and team work were amazing since the very first meeting with them.

We had initial meeting that allowed us to share the vision, details, and focus of the project. As the developers worked on the project, I received frequent updates on the progress. We had a system going of having a meeting to discuss the next step of the website, the developer worked on that, and then the project manager showed it to me to approve so that we could continue the process all over again!

The project manager, 2 web developers, and a marketing head worked with me for the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have not launched our site yet since we are waiting on a couple of logistics with our brand partners, but have shown close friends/family who love the website look! We even receive often compliments on our social media page for our marketing tactics!

I had frequent meetings with the project manager along with continuous communication through emails with the other members of the team. I even received frequent updates on the progress of the project which was helpful with my timeline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very qualified and experienced at their craft. They shared helpful insights on marketing tactics along with website designing that would be better align with our brand goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were very few communications issues due to different schedules and time zones, but the team was very flexible and allowed fast-responsiveness.

I’m the owner of Manna Granola, a granola business.

I needed help with building my website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had one website on Wix, but I needed to shift to Shopify. Growception helped me build my new website, and they migrated and uploaded all of the content from the previous site to the new site. They also helped me set up everything it takes for my site to grow.

Among the key features, they integrated a photo gally of our product, testimonials from our customers, and recipes from me. Currently, they manage my website.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people from Growception, but I only have one main point of contact. This person transfers all the information to their team.

How did you come to work with Growception?

Growception was referred to me by my business partner. He found them on another platform. We’ve grown closer together, and we’ve worked together on a lot of other projects for different entities and entrepreneurs.

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together on this project around February 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

The website created by Growception works well for my product, and all the information on it is very clear.

How did Growception perform from a project management standpoint?

Growception’s project management is perfect. They’re very professional and do good work. We communicate via Zoom, and they use a project management tool. Using this tool, they send me a link where I can upload and send pictures or information for them to make changes, and I can see the changes being made.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Growception pays attention to detail. Not everyone can build a site from scratch and help manage it, at least not being constantly present like them. Additionally, I can tell them one thing, and they understand it so that I don’t have to repeat myself. Once I shared my vision, they understood where we were going, and they’ve been taking me there since.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We all have room for improvement, and they’ve certainly shown an improvement over our engagement. Together, we’ve gotten to where we are right now, and they’ve taken the project to a whole new level, so there has been a constant improvement.

I was not sure about them, but they are a company that meets all my expectations. Being in the hospitality industry it was almost my utmost priority that I need someone who understood my requirements, and they are the best in that.

I am highly satisfied with their content, social media marketing services, and their efforts to run successful paid campaigns. I now have no question about their sincerity and they will always be my only pick for any digital marketing or IT service providers to my growing business. Keep up the good work guys!!

We received a rough layout of the website to start. After providing feedback they continued to work on the site. They were very open to our feedback and made changes per our input. They were excellent communicators. When we made recommendations, they took what we recommended and made it even better.

Our contact was very easy to talk to. We had 2-3 Zoom calls and we felt our input was taken and acted upon. We are very please with the work they did for us and the outcome of the project.

They are very creative. They understood how to make the site clean and functional. They are also very good listeners and communicators. Parth is a true professional.

We have a truck stop in Florida, and we have food and other items. The name of the company is Zumi’s[sp] Truck Stop.

What challenge were you trying to address with Growception?

In this kind of business, people always want to see if we have food. They always want to know what we have, and what we offer in our store because it's a truck stop. A lot of truck drivers also stop and stay overnight, so we want them to know what we offer and how we’re better than the competition because at a gas station, there's always competition. 

Making this website was going to help my business to keep all my information in one place and let customers know what we offer.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a website to showcase what we have and what we offer. They created slides of my pictures, and designed a menu for my food so it slides automatically — that way, on the one page, people can see pictures of food that I have.

I’m not aware of the platforms or coding languages they built the website on, because I'm not really interested in this kind of stuff, so I don't really know much about it — but they did a very good job. If I didn't understand anything, they’d explain what was going on with the website.

What is the team composition?

I just talked to one person, Patel (Founder & CEO), because he answered all my questions. I never had to go back and forth with other people in the team because he was the one handling everything for me.

How did you come to work with Growception?

I found out from my family and friends. When I talked to Patel, it sounded good to me that he'd be able to do what I was looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $7,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

I think we started working together about three or four months ago, so maybe January or February of this year. They’re done with my website, but the good thing about them is that they’re still helping. If I have a question, I can just call them and they’ll help solve my problems.

Moreover, the website did not take that long to build. I was the one who was always slowing down the process, but as soon as I gave them information, they were ready to put it in.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I am satisfied with the website, 10 out of 10. Everything looks good to me and I don’t see anything that's faulty. The team was also pretty good as they always tried to get the tasks done as soon as possible. They always wanted to help me with my problems and made sure that I was a satisfied customer.

How did Growception perform from a project management standpoint?

I would say the whole team was really good with the way they handled the situation. As for communication, I always communicated with one guy, so I never had to communicate with the team — we spoke through regular messages and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The one thing that impressed me was their knowledge and unique way of communication. They never focused on the problem, but on the solution to the problem. They were never confused about what I asked as they knew what they were doing — that's what I really like about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far, I don't really see any kind of mistake they did with my project, so I don't really think that they need to correct anything — they did a great job. They worked fast, they got the project done, and I'm impressed with them.

Any advice for potential customers?

The way that Pat communicated with me, I felt like I've known him for a long time — he was always there to help me. He always replied to my texts to answer my questions and solve my problem — I don't really see anything bad about the company.
