We needed someone to create a strong explainer video for our digital asset management startup. We wanted the video to be engaging, informative, and visually appealing to potential clients. We had written a rough script and storyboard but we needed help to polish them and adapt them for the video, which Grow Animation did for us.

Or target video length was between 60 and 90 seconds, which was achieved. We were looking for a video that not only explained our product but which also gave a sense of our team, our company culture and our bespoke services, this was conveyed well in the explainer video.

Our ideas and feedback was taken into consideration during the entire process and we felt well taken care of, which is always an important factor for our team when working with third-party suppliers. We weren't under any time presure for this project, but we wanted to get the video right.

We have a great explainer video for our product! The video is within the required time frame. It clearly explains our product in a clear and professional way, while also conveying our brand look and company culture. The animation and voiceover that was used fits with our brand look and feel. We are happy with how this project turned out. It captures what we envisioned for our explainer video.

Project management was good. We communicated mainly via email with several video calls between. Whenever we asked for a call, an appointment was setup quickly. We felt heard and well taken care of. We did not really have a time frame for this project - our focus was on getting the video right rather than getting it done within a certain amount of time. We were comfortable with how the project progressed and Grow Animation worked according to the pace that we set, which was appreciated.

We found that they were happy to share their expertise with us when needed. We appreciated their creative and expert input, they guided our ideas and were able to create a great video for us. We had an example video that we had animated earlier in 2022 but needed something original that was higher quality but with the same general concepts that we discussed in our video script. We provided the original video and animations as a starting point and told the animator the differences we'd like to see.

We worked with claudioa on Fiverr. He really understood the concept of what we were looking for and didn't need a lot of direction. He quickly was able to provide a higher-quality animation in the style we wanted. We had a few times of going back-and-forth to get to the finished product but overall, the process was pretty smooth.

We have new animations to use in our video that we feel are much better quality.

We followed Fiverr's recommendations in terms of feedback, timelines, and project management. It mostly worked but I think we also each will approach the next project together a little differently when it comes to feedback to improve the process.

This freelancer was understanding of how we gather pricing for jobs - we don't provide budget information and instead prefer freelancers to tell us the price they think is fair. This can sometimes be difficult but it wasn't an issue on this project and although the freelancer's price was a stretch for our budget, we thought his work was worth it. He was able to conduct the project with little oversite and did a great job. We consider that money well-spent.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We used Fiverr's feedback tool which had us go through video by video and leave comments on each one but in the final wrap-up of the project, we didn't realize the freelancer hadn't gotten all the feedback so some clips still had to be re-worked after we approved the final project. The freelancer did this without complaint but I think that slowed down the final stage of the project so we will try to make sure to communicate feedback more effectively next time.
