Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Grendesign assisted in implementing a critical improvement to a series of automated sequential backend processes required to update our site inventory twice daily.  Each of these processes was happening independently leading to significant negative outcomes if any individual process failed, as each process downstream would continue despite the error.  
As these errors were only being picked up manually in retrospect, this lead to complex troubleshooting to determine the initial point of failure.  

Key deliverables included: 

• integrate all processes to ensure the full automation runs smoothly
• add gatekeeper processes at each point in the chain to automatically pause all down chain processes if there is an error until the error has been rectified
• set up automated email for these gatekeeper processes to alert us to errors in real time so they can be resolved and processes resumed promptly

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

About one month after the project was completed we experienced a failure in the initial trigger for the automated process - the email alert enabled Grendesign to notify us of the issue before we were even aware there was a problem.  We were then able to troubleshoot and ensure that the failure had been rectified so the automation could proceed as normal.

Grendesign provided a thorough proposal prior to commencing work, which demonstrated they had an excellent understanding of the project objectives and parameters and set out a clear way forward.  Their propsal included a number of different options and outlined the pros and cons of different approaches. 
Their communication was always very timely, responsive and professional throughout and the work was completed to schedule.  They have always provided exceptional service, being willing to answer any additional questions or provide further explanation as we required.

Gren design exceeded my expectations with the design application, so much so we are now having them re work our entire website.

Although the project went very smoothly and the outcome was overall fantastic, I'm a hands on kind of operator so the opportunity to sit down with someone is never wasted on me.

I’m the communications and engagement manager at Western Port Biosphere Foundation, a non-profit organisation. We support and protect the region’s unique environment by connecting people with nature, promoting biodiversity, and advocating for sustainable development as part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve network.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Grendesign to accomplish for your communications and engagement work at the Biosphere Foundation?

We’ve hired Grendesign for graphic design services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Grendesign creates our impact report every year and assists us with backend work in Google Analytics and any other graphic design job we need. The team is responsible for creating, designing, and visualizing data for the impact report. Grendesign also solves issues with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

We work with one teammate from Grendesign.

How did you come to work with Grendesign?

Someone referred Grendesign to us. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, had a great culture fit, and had company values that aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Grendesign in May 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Grendesign delivers a beautiful product at the end of every project, and our staff is educated around GA4. The impact report looks great and reads well; our board and supporters have told us so.

How did Grendesign perform from a project management standpoint?

Grendesign’s project management is good; they deliver on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
