Given their expertise in working with Bubble.io on past projects, it was great to see how fast they were able to ramp up our project and understand what we were trying to build.  They take on any new requests eagerly, including when the request requires researching and prototyping.  This truly helped our internal team be able to focus on other areas, effectively scaling up our full team's capacity

The platform we are building is pushing the envelope in many ways, so it takes a lot of planning and trial and effort to get desired results.  I think Goodspeed has done a great job being flexible in these regards and helping with research and prototyping.  As a result, there's nothing I can think of that they could have done differently.

The project focuses on optimizing both data and CPU usage across a range of front-end and back-end components, specifically three webpages and two backend (BE) APIs. The primary goal is to reduce CPU consumption, enhance efficiency, and improve performance in both the client and server environments. The following key tasks are included in the scope:

Optimization of Webpages (Client-Side):

   Target: Three specific webpages require optimization.
     Tasks:

• Analyze the current CPU and memory usage for each page.
• Refactor or streamline JavaScript, CSS, and other client-side code to ensure efficient execution.
• Reduce redundant or unnecessary data processing on the client side.
• Optimize any associated assets (such as images, videos, or external libraries) for faster loading and lower CPU consumption.

From a technical perspective, this involves:

• Using ChartJS Plugin to showcase the charts as per the mock up
• Re-factorising the data which involves:
  • New DB tables with the re-adjusted entries.
  • This would include a previously shared ERD to be approved from both sides.
  • The current tables won’t be modified to avoid causing issues with existing users.
• A new branch will be created and the queries pointing to the new DB tables will be changed here.(not in any of the already existing branches)
• Some button actions will be executed to trigger backend workflows that will migrate the already existing data to the new DB tables/structure
• Once data is migrated, all data will be compared from the original branch and the new one to make sure all numbers and specifications add up
• The dashboard UI will be built based on the final version,referencing the mock up

We worked with another Bubble dev shop before Goodspeed, and we were ready to try another agency to wrap it up and strategize additional features. They handled a lot of key design choices, development, user flow strategy, API connections, and numerous other tasks that need to be handled to take a marketplace live.

Mostly, the completion of tasks in our list of things that needed done. But also, the speed at which these tasks were prioritized and handled.

They worked super quick and efficiently. We were really happy with their speedy communication, and their daily videos that ran us through everything they worked on that day. They also let us know what tasks they'd be completing the following day, so we always know what was going on. They also ebbed and flowed with our quick changes and additional implementations very quickly.

There were times when progress felt slower than others, but in most cases, this was due to unseen work being done behind the scenes taking time, which gave the impression of inactivity; once this had been identified, communication and expectation setting were re-calibrated, and this has not happened since.

We provided them with our initial design ideas and future plans for the app. After this, they came back with suggestions for how to build it from the data structure up. 

These plans were brilliant, made a lot of sense and set us up for future growth opportunities with expected growth. Goodspeed then delivered on building out the initial designs with great opportunities for feedback from us. After that, they got to work on building the actual app and then setting it live.
