We are a technology startup delivering E-commerce & Mobile App consultations for small-large enterprises. I am a lead consultant.

For what projects/services did your company hire Goldenlink Digital, and what were your goals?

Web, Mobile, and E-commerce Development. With this project, we wanted to serve our clients with the best looking, functioning, and scalable E-commerce stores with mobile applications and a web back-end. Our goal was to help brick and mortar businesses grow through the web.

How did you select Goldenlink Digital and what were the deciding factors?

Referral. We only consider companies that come via referrals from our sister firms and after talking with Naveen from their team, we were convinced to go with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We wanted an E-commerce site, with a mobile app. The first step was finalization of the requirement via mutual discussion, then came UI/UX prototypes, and finally the Web App and Mobile Apps were ready. Once the first version was released, we leased developers from this team to work on new features. We currently have 2 developers at Goldenlink working for our team. We used the LAMP framework with REST API and an Android App.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked through Naveen, one of Goldenlink's consultants. He helped with the project(s) planning, and documentation. We were presented with various options for pricing and delivery dates based-off how many developers fit within the budget. We had a Product Owner, 2 developers, 1 designer, 2 QA engineers and a senior Technology Architect work with us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our End customers have been thoroughly impressed by the work done. We have not had an unhappy experience so far, which has been a first for us. Normally, we do not submit reviews, but this team has really impressed us.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

They used a Project management Tool and we had access to the tasks and we could see work getting done in real time. Most of the communication happened via email and attached PDF documents. Once the initial list of features were approved over email, the project manager gave us a timeline and the developers work from there depending on how many we have onboarded.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There are many Build-A-App team's out there, but this company takes the effort to really get to know each product before committing. I truly believe this saved us capital in the long-run because of the dynamic changes certain client's needed. This effort has paid off for us, as they were consistently able to deliver on their promises.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Initial estimation took about 7 days, I think that’s because they had put more effort into understanding the requirement. They have promised to address this, so Keep the good work coming.

My partner and I design mobile apps and various other internet-based companies with the primary goal being high impact user growth. This particular gaming application allows users to ask questions about interesting topics, and get answers in return. People can socialize, and learn through interesting questions.

This was an iOS application with the hopes of going android within the year. We we're able to develop the iOS application in under 3 months, before schedule. The project was around 600 hours.

We used Goldenlink for the planning period of how the app should function as well as the deployment. Their technical background was highly impressive, but their expertise in startups stood out even more-so. It's rare to find a team that you can both relate to, and can trust to build the system.

What was the team composition?

I spoke with the sales manager during the product planning period, from there I was in direct contact with a business analyst/project manager. She relayed our discussions to the project manager who worked directly with the programmers. That is the lay out that I was introduced to at the very beginning and it remained that way through out. I was highly satisfied with each member that I worked with.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

iOS application deployed at a competitive rate, keeping our budget flexible for our marketing. It felt like the team was on my side all the way through, where I could discuss my business with clarity and openness.

Sales Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager in that order. Highly effective, agile environment.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The UI/UX was very impressive, and their ability to surprise you by being one step ahead of where you are. This team has clear experience having worked with startup software companies in the past.

Highly satisfied all the way through.

Account manager handled payments, business analyst documented how it should work & then project manager handled the development.

They we're very transparent and informative. They worked around our budget. I felt very comfortable working with this team.

Not that I can think of
