We were looking for a new shipping alternative to Canada Post for both our Canadian and US shipments. GoBolt has been able to decrease our transit time for a large amount of our Canadian orders and has decreased our shipping expense since Sept by almost 18%. At first there were road blocks due to the Shipstation integrations but the team managed to find an alternative solution that met our needs. We are currently working on getting US rates set up.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been able to decrease our shipping expense since Sept by 18% just by moving our Canadian east coast orders over to GoBolt. Our customers are also seeing quicker delivery times. Its been a win-win for us!

Both Jacob and Mehrab have been so easy to deal with since we moment we started conversations at the beginning of 2024. They answer my multiple questions, help us find solutions and provide recommendations to our fulfillment and shipping strategy that may have been overlooked previously. The team is knowledgable and have been very easy to communicate with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Extremely solution minded and have been able to tailor services to meet our current tech set up (ie ShipStation) in order to move ahead with the partnership. There were a few hiccups with implementation but the team provided quick solutions.

GoBolt has decreased our company shipping costs significantly across the U.S. and Canada.

The project management can use some work. Our package delivery timeframe with GoBolt is a bit longer than previous carriers we have used in the past. The communication with GoBolt Team and visibility on shipping metrics and package tracking can be improved as well.

Visibility on the movement and whereabouts of items we give GoBolt can be improved. If we could have better tracking and communication on lost packages, returns  and package delays in real time that would be amazing.

Our average transaction cost is relatively low, so saving on shipping (40% reduction) has been massive towards our profitability targets. 

Additionally, fulfilling with GoBolt has helped us avoid tax and duties as we are now using their US sites to fulfill from.
