We are passionate about our brand but we work in a saturated market and wanted to look at different ways of getting our message to the market without the usual nonsense you get in the recruitment market.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

IAM are very effective at social marketing, we found them on Linked In and thought there wasn't a business doing a similar thing. The most important thing was they used their product to sell their product. They speak to people normally, that's important to us as.

From the first Linked In message with Ian, to the initial call and then working with Dom and the team the process was seamless. It was clear that the IAM team have an understanding of how their product can be used effectively and were open in providing useful tips outside of the actual product in terms of platforms and social selling.

IAM use a lot of work flow automation in terms of arranging times to speak and feedback on the project steps, this works well but would suggest that sometimes it took the 'personal' touch out of the process. Not that the team weren't willing to get on a call and discuss, it just felt like a barrier to asking at times. Once they have taken the brief, they set about writing a script. We knew they had understood the tone we wanted to take as there were very minimal amounts of edits and feedback at this stage was easy.

Picking the voiceover was fun. The storyboard was a good step in the process. At that point we needed clarity on things and Dom and the team were very accommodating. That conversation helped us visualise what was next. The end animation was brilliant.

We worked with a lot of IAM's team and they were all really good, clearly knew what they had to contribute at each stage of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The animation and some other collateral they completed were all great. They were a really down-to-earth and knowledgeable team. Very easy to work with. They delivered on time and to budget.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Barring some of the automation being a bit faceless, it was great.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are really creative and everything is in house which speeds up the process. The animation was something not really used in the recruitment industry so acted as a differentiator for a while.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think though the process they could schedule progress catch ups at key milestones. At the moment these are too customer led.

We wanted a video that shows the specialist equipment we provide and our focus on customer service. IAM made us an explainer video that showed just that!

I have been following the IAM Team for probably a year, loved all there content and the videos they were making for other companies. When I worked for someone else I couldn’t get them to buy in to the benefits of a modern marketing video, so as soon as I started up on my own I got in touch with the team who really were amazing at capturing who we are and what we do.

It started with a form, we input who we are as individuals and professionally, the products we offer and how we stand our vs our competitors, we were then sent a script and had a short call to discuss. From that we chose a voiceover and the animation type for the video. The whole process was swift and professional, and they made sure we were happy at every stage.

We worked with a project manager who ensured we were happy at every stage of development. Honestly we didn’t have to make many changes. They really did capture everything we wanted from the start.

Our video was well received by everyone who watched it. It’s now on our website and all of our social channels. It’s great to give prospect customers a view into who we are.

IAM Productions had created explainer videos for companies and shred them on LinkedIn, so I knew the quality was good. Also, we had used IAM Productions for other small pieces of work.

We started with a brief of what we wanted to get from the video and that was quickly turned into a script. The script hit the nail on the head and was perfect. Once I selected a voice over artist (as I didn't want to record to the audio myself).

Now it came to the storyboard, which again was perfect. It showed all the scenes of the video with notes from the designer explaining what the intention was. I was also given opportunity to feedback at this stage. Once signed off, it was then ready to download in square and landscape formats.

We worked with Ian, I felt he was very open to honest feedback and always asked if we had any questions. I really enjoyed working with the team at IAM Productions.

The most impressive thing, aside from the technical ability and quality of the videos is the customer care. Working with IAM Productions is a nice experience, they deliver exactly what they say they will to the timescales agreed.
