I am the Founder and President of Street 2 Street. S2S is a sports organization serving kids in underserved communities.

Initially, we hired Glitschka Studios for a brand refresh. Recently, we engaged them in order to provide new gear for our donors.

How did you select this vendor?

I saw a friend who had a very cool logo and I asked Paul who designed his logo. He said he researched logo designers and found the best one and his name was Von Glitschka. I reached out to Von and have been working with him ever since.

Von created a new logo and a general brand makeover of S2S. In order to get the desirable look, we had a conversation and then Von sent me a questionnaire to fill out. After I filled out the questionnaire we had a couple more conversations. After all of the communications, he sent me a couple options and we picked one.

Because of our brand refresh our logo is instantly recognized in our spheres of influence. We actually have kids who show up only to get a Street 2 Street shirt. Kids still love the look!

I love how the manage our projects. We have a couple conversations over a few days so that they understand what we're looking for. They go to work and come back with more questions or needing further clarification. They delivered what they promised.

How they can take an idea and literally produce a brand image that is better than anything you could imagine.

No.

As the Chief Brand Officer, my job is to make sure all our work is at the highest level and that includes who we collaborate with like Glitschka Studios

We needed to create a comprehensive school district brand and brand each school in the district. We created the district brand and we collaborated with Glitschka Studios to help create the logos and mascots for the nine schools and/or programs.

How did you select this vendor?

We looked at a variety of illustrators that were very talented. Glitschka Studios had the most experience and offered a variety of suggestions on our initial call. This made us all very excited to see the passion and expertise and desire to collaborate.

Our goal for BPS101 was simple: create a brand that effectively communicates the excellence the district offers, while providing design expertise to help bring the entire district and school brands under the BPS101 banner.

We interviewed students and teachers from each school in an attempt to understand the “personality” of each mascot and how to retain that in each school’s mark. We collaborated with Glitschka Studios to create a family of mascots, each with unique traits and color palettes.

Since the project's first phase a few years ago was completed we have received countless kudos, referrals, and continual business because of the work Glitschka Studios helped create, produce, and really bring to life. They were key to its success and the impact that was created community wide.

We appreciate the direct and detailed approach Glitschka Studios uses on all projects. It helps provide clarity, timeliness, and outstanding outcomes.

Glitschka Studios' creativity and range of abilities are incredible. We can share the basics of an idea or need and they can take it to the next level. They make the project, us, and the potential results better with every engagement.

I have nothing to add here as they are always evolving and getting better and better at what they do.

Our company offers a turnkey solution to residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and electrical projects and repairs.

The name of our company was DFC Mechanical, Inc. This name did not resonate with our customers so we did not put money into marketing for the first 5 years of business. After developing good systems and a reputation for good work, we decided it was time to invest in re-naming and re-branding our company. After researching available options and studying the process of re-branding, we decided that Von had the best portfolio, experience, skill, and artistic approach to suit our needs.

We found several marketing firms and also tried going our own route with freelance services. After finding Von's classes online where he offers his experience to the world, we decided who better than someone who is so skilled at his craft he can teach with ease.

Von provided a Creative brief with everything from the name, to the logo, to the colors, to the font. We have used this for over 6 years, so far.

I am the president of The Wright Brothers USA, the exclusive global merchandise licensor of The Wright Brothers® trademark owned by The Wright Brothers Family Foundation.

For many years, Dayton has been called the Gem City—descriptive of the community that has an extraordinary amount of GEMs of which to be proud and many have roots in the Wright brothers and aviation history. Thus, Dayton is primarily known as the Birthplace of Aviation. The Wright Brothers USA was identified as the naming sponsor of the 2021 Cycling Classic.

The poster was designed to promote the Tour de Gem | The Wright Brothers® 2021 Cycling Classic fundraising event to riders across the nation. The fun, friendly cycling event draws riders of all ages and riding abilities who also fundraise for the charity of their choice. The poster is provided as a thank you to each of the participants and a framed version is provided to show appreciation to the sponsors.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

The artists representative firm of Scott Hull Associates suggested the two-person design firm of Von G. and Savannah G. We were looking for an illustrative design team to create a brand look and feel that could be built upon each year for this annual fundraising cycling event.

The process commenced with an online video discussion which included identifying key steps of the projects: black & white concepts sketches; color sketches; and final hi-res digital files. After the completion of poster art, work proceeded to a similar process for the design of a derivative application to a cycling jersey, including working within the supplied clothing pattern.

Both Von and Savannah worked through each of the steps with Von being the lead contact point.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In the first year of working with Glitschka Studios, the event grew in two significant measurement metrics: participation was up 40%; and donations increased 95%. As a result the success—at least partially attributed to the quality of the illustrative branding work—we returned to Glitschka Studios for the following year.

Always felt confident in not only the quality of the work, but the communications regarding deliverables and the deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to learning about our organization and objectives/goals of the project was impressive. This dedication gave us the confidence that we were in good hands throughout the project.

Not really. As they already do, simply need the team to stay fresh and current to deliver awesome work each year we return.
