We needed a way to monitor legislative changes without our lawyers spending hours every week going through government publications manually. We work across multiple practice areas, and keeping up with new regulations, amendments, and rulings was becoming a real burden. The goal was to automate that monitoring so our team would only see what was relevant to our clients' interests and nothing else.

What was the scope of their involvement?

gamgi.ai built a system called LexAlert that automatically monitors the official legal database every three hours, filters new legislation against our five practice areas, and sends alerts only when something relevant comes through. If it's not relevant, we never hear about it. They also built in a deduplication feature so the same legislative change never alerts us twice. The deliverables were the monitoring system itself, the filtering logic customized to our practice areas, the email alerting setup, and a walkthrough of how the system works so we understand what's happening behind the scenes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our senior lawyers were spending roughly 5–8 hours a week manually reviewing legislative updates. That's now close to zero — they only read what LexAlert flags as relevant, which is usually a handful of items per week instead of dozens. The system runs every three hours, 24/7, which means we've caught amendments that we probably would have missed before or only noticed days later. The biggest outcome is that our lawyers now spend that recovered time on actual client work, which directly impacts our revenue. For a firm our size, that's significant. I can't give an exact revenue figure, but when senior lawyers recover that many hours, the math is straightforward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

gamgi.ai’s chatbot resolves around 60%–70% of the questions that come through it without anyone from our team needing to step in. Before, we were only reachable about five hours a day — now, clients get answers 24/7. We’ve noticed fewer missed calls and fewer repeated questions during consultations because people already got the basic information online. The response time went from hours, sometimes a full day, to under five seconds. For a small clinic like ours, that was a big change.We didn’t track it formally before the chatbot, so I can’t give exact before-and-after numbers. What I can say is that the receptionist used to spend a good part of the morning just returning calls and answering the same things — hours, prices, how to book. That barely happens now. Most people who call already know the basics because they talked to the chatbot first. If I had to guess, we probably cut those repetitive calls by at least half.People find the chatbot funny. That’s the first thing — they like that it’s a dog talking to them. Some clients have mentioned it in person, like “I was chatting with the chatbot last night,” which is something we never expected. Parents love it because their kids get excited about talking to the dog on the screen. Beyond that, a few clients said they appreciated getting answers at 10:00 p.m. when they were worried about their pet and didn’t want to wait until morning.
