Fyresite designed and developed a custom Shopify website for our business, including the overall site design, product setup, custom functionality, and user experience. A major part of the project involved building a customized wallpaper shopping experience that allows customers to visualize and configure their products before ordering. Key deliverables included the Shopify website design and development, custom product functionality, product and collection setup, integration of our wallpaper customization features, mobile-responsive design, and optimization of the customer ordering experience. The project required a significant amount of custom development because we had a very specific vision for how we wanted the website and product customization experience to work. Fyresite was able to understand those requirements and execute them successfully. They also managed the project efficiently and kept everything on schedule and within the agreed-upon budget.

The biggest measurable outcome was successfully launching a fully customized Shopify website that delivers the specific customer experience we were looking for. The project was completed on time and within the agreed-upon budget, despite the complexity of the custom development involved. We now have a professional, scalable Shopify platform with a streamlined customer ordering experience and custom product functionality that would not have been possible with a standard Shopify setup. The new site gives us a much stronger foundation for generating online sales, showcasing our products, and allowing customers to customize and order wallpaper more easily. Most importantly, Fyresite took a complicated project with very specific requirements and delivered the finished product as planned, without the delays or budget overruns that are common with custom website development.

What impressed me most was how responsive they were to our needs. We had a very specific vision and made a number of detailed requests throughout the project, and they were always willing to listen, make adjustments, and find solutions rather than telling us something couldn’t be done. They did a great job keeping the project moving forward while also staying on budget. Even with the amount of custom development involved, there were no major delays or surprises. What impressed me most was their ability to take a very specific and complicated vision and actually make it happen. I spent a lot of time researching other companies before choosing Fyresite and many of them simply did not have the Shopify development experience or technical expertise needed for what we wanted to build. Fyresite not only understood what we were trying to accomplish, but executed it extremely well. They were willing to find solutions to challenges instead of taking the easy route or telling us something couldn't be done. Honestly, there were very few areas for improvement. Like any complex development project, there were times when we had to work through details and make adjustments as the project progressed, but Fyresite was very responsive and handled those situations well. If anything, I would have liked to have had even more time for final testing and fine-tuning before launch, but overall the project was managed very well. They delivered what we needed, stayed on schedule and within budget, and were easy to work with throughout the process.

The biggest challenge was migrating the data in such a way that maintained the integrity and format of our previous system while we sun-setted that platform. They worked closely with anybody they could and took initiative and accountability for the project.

The deliverables included 3 different websites pooltables.com, billiards.com and darts.com. The main two, pooltables.com and billiards.com, both had different data sets which, unfortunately, meant they had to do two complete data migrations which led to more front and back end work than anticipated.

Functioning site with little to no impact to sales.

Whenever date pushes occurred a detailed reason for the push was provided. Reponses were always timely and respectful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Digging in and improving while maintaining or making changes. On multiple occasions the team has gone beyond the request and either improved things they saw or truly understood the direction and did more than the requirements to make sure the improvements were future proof and implemented in a way the better served us and the end customer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Fyresite could have done differently?

Executive level communication. There were times when more senior level communications were needed, going both ways.
