I am the owner of HB Customs. HB Customs is not your normal PC building destination. We help guide those that may be buying a PC for the first time to those that know exactly what they are looking for. I chose Fyresite after comparing their products/services to the competition. I quickly realized that my decision was spot on. I needed help in creating a website that truly matched my vision. The Fyresite team worked with me throughout the process and still to this day help me with the management of my site.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After narrowing down my search I felt that Fyresite checked off every box that I needed. The most important box was in my decision was the personal aspect. I could reach out at any time and someone from their team would be immediately able to assist. As a newer company it would be easy to get caught in the shuffle. Not with Fyresite. Their team made me feel like HB Customs was their number 1 client from the beginning. You cannot put a value for that peace of mind.

From my website design and implementation to making any and all necessary updates, I have entrusted my vision to the Fyresite. Their team also was able to provide insight where my company could add or subtract items to maximize the success of my website.

I was fortunate to have 3 team members working with me throughout the process. Two designers and the head man himself took the time to walk me through every step and guide me to bringing my vision to life.

My initial ask were not as expansive as some companies. I had a vision and the Fyresite team was able to implement well beyond what I was even asking. I needed a landing site for people to see my work. The Fyresite team took my small ask and made it into the type of website that represents a top tier company.

We had numerous check in meetings throughout the process. From start to finish if their was a necessary change needed it was always done in a very timely manner. Whether it was via email or phone, I never felt that I could not contact someone from the Fyresite team!

We’re an all-natural foods brand and I’m the chief e-commerce officer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fyresite?
We had a very old site that wasn’t well optimized and wasn’t user-friendly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had an initial discovery phase where we learned a bit about each other. Next, we flew out to meet them in Arizona for a project planning phase.
We provided screenshots of what we wanted things to look like. We also sent them content and gave them access to our Shopify accounts so they could see our products. The team went through a project plan that we envisioned. We went through edits together and they told us what was realistic.
After that, they started the actual work. They created a shell of what our website was going to look like first. Then, we were able to make edits around that. Finally, they supported us as we went live with any last little fixes.

How did you come to work with Fyresite?
There was a company I was following on Instagram that just relaunched their website. I asked them who re-did their website and they told me it was Fyresite. I had a brief introductory call with Fyresite and they gave me three references. All of the references had great things to say about them. From there, we signed a contract.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2020, and we went live in February 2021. They still offer support.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen an increase in traffic since we started working with them. Our returning customer rate has increased from 38% to 54%, too.
How did Fyresite perform from a project management standpoint?
They did very well. We communicated once every two weeks via phone and email. They were always very quick to respond.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their follow-through, attention to detail, and customer service all stand out. It’s not often that we get vendors that work with such a customer-minded workflow. It felt like we were working with ourselves.

They could’ve completed everything a bit quicker. To be fair, we were making a bunch of changes that impacted the timeline.

Sports Venture operates a 16-store chain of licensed sports retail stores throughout Arizona, as well as several e-commerce platforms. I am the corporate IT Director.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fyresite, and what were your goals?
For about 15 years our stores were accepting gift cards in-store only. We wanted to extend that functionality and benefit to our online store, but integrating Shopify with our gift card system was a lot of work.
We hired Fyresite for the front-end portion of that work, asking them to create the gift card pages with a FAQ, gift card product pages, as well as the functionality allowing the customer to do a gift card balance lookup, as well as complete the checkout process, with some non-standard functionality such as PIN verification.
How did you select Fyresite and what were the deciding factors?
We had used Fyresite for another smaller project in the past and they did a good job, and performed as expected, on time, and for the price we were quoted.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Fyresite created a bridge between Shopify's platform in conjunction with our in-store POS vendor's CRM platform. In addition, they created user-friendly interfaces for purchasing gift card products, doing a balance lookup, and for us to create a FAQ section.
They added extra functionality by leveraging AWS to support PIN verification of both balance lookups and checkout, without losing the ability to use Shopify's discount code system.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I was in contact with two people from Fyresite. Their Sales Director and their Chief Design Officer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The project was completed with the features expected and in a timely fashion. We didn't make our original deadline, but I consider this good thing, because Fyresite worked with us as the needs of the project evolved and became more clear as development moved ahead. They were flexible and agile at adjusting and finding the solutions to meet the demands.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
I emailed with the two representatives regularly and they replied promptly. We also held video/audio conferences as needed. These meetings also included our 3rd party POS vendor, and Fyresite worked well with them directly, to make sure the technical issues of the integration were worked through.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their flexibility to adapt as the requirements of the project became more clear as we moved throughout the process. They delivered what was needed, were accountable, and committed to getting it right.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing I can think of. There were bumps in the road, but nothing that I can attribute to Fyresite, but rather a native part of the development process.

Did some googling for companies around the area, they were in the area and we spoke on the phone and they seemed to be able to deliver what we needed.

We showed them what we had some other contractors do previously, and asked them for advice on how to move forward and/or improve the situation. They made recommendations at first to just keep things functional, but also helped us make some longer-term plans and refactors to improve the application in substantial ways.

I think the biggest measure of any type of business relationship is one which you continue to foster on both sides. We have continued to work with Fyresite for years now and happily continue to do so.

I’m managing co-owner and partner at The Churchill LLC. We’re home to two bars, four restaurants, and four retail spaces.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fyresite?
We needed help with web development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created our home website on WordPress. We sat down with them for a discovery meeting and told them what we wanted to accomplish with the website, and how to tell our story. They built the ability to jump over to another landing page by clicking a customized beer tab. That landing page is for another business we own.
Since we’re a group gathering place, we were one of the first ones shut down because of COVID-19. When we realized we were going to be shut down for more than a few weeks, we wanted to pivot. They’ve been helping us, mostly for free, launch, and transition to an online WooCommerce webstore. Now, we’re able to sell farm boxes, in an effort to support small local farms.

We work with Jason (CEO), Sean (COO), and Zac (Front End Engineer). Sean is our main point of contact.

For the site, we’ve gone through a few revisions back and forth, but I was happy with the end product and I’m happy with everything up to this point as well. We’ll probably do a refresh once we have the time and money.

They’re really good about response time. They’re very easy to work with and talk with. The team also comes in all the time and they feel connected with the space. That face to face connection goes a long way, especially in times like this. We usually communicate via email or calls, and we were able to launch our new program within a week. Having a live site where we can generate revenue after one week is huge.

Their overall attitude and approach are impressive. They follow through when they say they’re going to do something. Also, if you need help, they’re willing to work with you and are very invested.

No, not for me. Everything we’ve asked them to do, they’ve done. I don’t have an area where they could improve.

Fyresite has done work for several of my friends and peers. All of which spoke very highly of their service and end results.

Fyresite sat with my business partner and me to discuss our vision. We discussed our needs from the site and our budget (fairly tight). We also provided them our brand standard, for which they thoughtfully utilized our brand and voice to deliver what we consider to be a very functional site that represents our business. Additionally, Fyresite has made themselves readily available to assist us in edits, or in some cases making major adjustments to the site. Most recently, we added a CSA (community supported agriculture) program which required online purchases. They built out an entire platform for us, free of charge. Not only do these guys do fantastic work, but they are also overall great human beings that go above and beyond.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Our team basically gave them carte blanche- we had check in calls every few weeks to review their progress.
What did you find most impressive about this company?

I came to the Fyresite team with a unique situation, I wanted to learn from the experience of building a website on WordPress, and not just hand the job over.
I was assigned a front-end web developer, Mason, who definitely knew his stuff. He guided me with the project and also helped me debug several issues I was having.
He provided excellent explanations on how to customize the website, and in the safest way possible. Web development can be tricky if not done right!
Although Mason could have built the entire site for me in far less time, he took the time to work with me so that I could understand the process. He was very patient, responded promptly to all of my questions and was extremely knowledgable.
What was the team composition?
I worked with one dev, Mason, who is a front-end web developer. He helped me from start to finish with the project which lasted several months.

Because this website is for personal use, I have no metrics to provide on website performance. It is also still only a few days old - I wanted to write this review as soon as possible because I appreciate all that they have done for me! We engaged Fyresite to build our WordPress website.

They’re located in the same city as us, so we met at their office to diagram the website. We relied on Fyresite’s team to select a theme, decide on plug-ins, and set up an integration with Stripe so that donations would be correctly rerouted to each charitable cause.
Our platform is unique in that instead of a group of people—administrators at a high school, for example—having multiple crowdfunding initiatives on one site, we allow users to create an account for the group at large and then open several campaigns under that name. So once a high school sets up an account, they can launch drives for individual athletic teams, the band, the drama program, etc.

We were looking for a vendor to help us develop an app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to develop and Fyresite helped me bring my idea to life. They developed an app for iOS and Android, managing the entire process from beginning to end. They created the wireframes, developed the backend, and oversaw the creative side of the project. The purpose of the app is to provide a person and a car to customers to help them with their daily tasks. It also allows customers to see in real time when a provider is driving towards a specific place.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a large team of people that they assigned to our project.
How did you come to work with Fyresite?
I was referred to them. I interviewed 15 different vendors and Fyresite was the only company that understood exactly what I was looking for, so I chose them.

I self-funded the project, so I appreciated that Fyresite helped me with the learning curve and provided all the information I needed to make me feel comfortable. Jarvis Group is a real estate and investments company.
What is your position?
I am the marketing director of the group. Previously, I was working for another real estate company that builds luxury custom homes, taking care of architecture and interior design.
What business challenge were you trying to address with Fyresite?
Fyresite developed four websites for my companies. When we needed to revamp the website for my current company, I immediately thought of Fyresite.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in greater detail.
Fyresite setup all four of our WordPress websites, allowing us to make our changes and not have to rely on them for small fixes. Fyresite set us up with SEO, Google AdWords, and metatags. The sites are mobile-friendly. One of them had over 20 pages; it was very intricate, with each page leading back to the other. The sites feature high-quality pictures, slideshows, text, buttons, and so on. We told Fyresite what we were going for in targeting a high-end, affluent clientele.
