Being a team of one, I needed additional support with SEO to maintain our website and keep on top of optimisation. I wanted a partner to be able to go to, to support with keyword research for new services, and to help optimise our content. I also needed additional support with our Google Ads account and get advice on account management.

FPA had a really personable approach. I liked their transparency, they provided us with a walk-through video for SEO initially, and it was really helpful, and intrigued me. I felt they really understood our pain points.

Our initial engagement began with a thorough discovery phase. They really got to know our business and services and asked lots of questions which was positive. From there, they laid out a monthly plan, as well as a longer term loose plan which has helped in understanding next steps and what we're focusing on. I have almost weekly, if not fortinightly calls with the team and it keeps me up to date. Their monthly reports for SEO are comprehensive and are always followed up with a call to discuss more in depth and answer any questions I may have.

Since working with the team at FPA, we have already seen a huge improvement in our SEO, and overall traffic, and we've had more organic leads as a result. Each month, the report shows positive results. Our overall website traffic last month was the highest it's ever been. We've had more organic leads for one of our services that we've been trying to build on since working with FPA.

Initial consultations led to a project plan covering all the necessary strands of work including SEO of website, set up and tracking of goals, generation of monthly SEO report with recommendations.

In addition to this FrontPage also applied for and successfully were awarded $10,000 per month in google ad grants due to the fact that we are owned by a charity. This enabled us to set up, optimise and manage Google Ads campaigns (PPC) driving relevant traffic to the website and portal.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Head of Sales and Marketing for one of the leading events venues in the UK.

For what projects/services did your company hire Front Page Advantage, and what were your goals?

We have a small in-house team without the necessary expertise to work on SEO and campaign management and needed to find a reliable agency to work with.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was at a conference and heard Lucy present. I was immediately impressed by her evident knowledge, and calm manner. She followed up my enquiry promptly and generously did an initial audit for us which evidenced her skillset. What I really liked about Lucy was her ability to communicate quite complicated technical details in a very accessible way.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

We commissioned Front Page Advantage to work on our SEO on a monthly basis. They immediately got to work and we have been able to see month-on-month improvements. We have been really impressed with what they have achieved and therefore then commissioned them to run our main advertising campaign for us.

Lucy, who is one of the company owners, took the Account lead herself and is supported by another colleague.

As a family owned business, Chris and Lucy, are recruiting and training UK people with a goal of creating a team of UK specialists that are experts in SEO but also have great business acumen so are well positioned to help our clients. In an age of gig economies and outsourcing to the cheapest providers, Chris and Lucy are trying to back the UK, investing in young people who in turn are helping UK businesses grow.

Meet the Team

As an ex multinational finance director, Chris brings a heavy numbers focus and return on investments perspective to SEO. He doesn't sell our services, he explains SEO and leaves the clients to choose whether they want to trust us with their business

Lucy has been working in the search world since 2000 so and is very passionate about how she can help clients. Lots of change is happening with AI but it still boils down to being found and generating good enquiries with SEO

SEO (search engine optimisation) was full of abbreviations and then came along AI which increased that even further. He cut out the noise and buzz words to focus on real business owner metrics like sales and enquiries. That's what you are looking for with SEO and that's what we focus on

We don't hide behind the numbers. The data available to SEO professionals is vast and we are open with our clients on what is and isn't possible. Then we measure ourselves against the former. Traffic is nice but we focus on enquiries and sales as that is what keeps the lights on.
