""Fractl has met all their deadlines, stayed on budget, and hit all their major KPIs.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO and founder of an SME loan brokerage, and we provide funding to businesses nationwide.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We were trying to improve our SEO efforts and increase our Google rankings for relevant keywords within our business.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We reached out to Fractl a year ago, and they sent out a scope of work and proposal. From there, they’ve created custom content that they pitch to different publishers, so we can get backlinks. They’ve also given us recommendations for our existing website content and pages and created new content for the site.

Notably, Fractl has come up with a piece of content that talked about states that are most favorable for women-owned businesses. That article resonated well with different publishers across the country and got picked up by various websites, including CNBC. As a result, we’ve been featured on TV.

We’ve been working closely with Fractl’s team throughout the partnership. We have final approval and oversight with all their suggestions for our keyword research and campaigns. Nonetheless, we’ve gone ahead with all their recommendations.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 5–6 people, including our main point of contact, an outreach team leader, a keyword specialist, a content specialist, and a data analyst.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

My CMO found them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $125,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since August 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our domain authority has improved, and we’ve also seen an increase in online inquiries and closed deals.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Fractl has met all their deadlines, stayed on budget, and hit all their major KPIs. We track their work using Google Sheets and communicate through Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with the thoroughness and detailedness of the content Fractl creates.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate often and voice any concerns that you have. Fractl is very receptive and take everything that you want into consideration. They’re also very collaborative, so just be vocal.

""We’re impressed with Fractl's exceeded results, professionalism in communication, and active listening.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the senior SEO manager at a translation management system for other software and apps. I manage the SEO and AI search strategy at this company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We wanted to improve our online presence and online mentions, including the type of mentions and the variety of publications that mention our company.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl provides digital PR services. We’ve started the process by providing them with a few guidelines on what would be a good asset for us in terms of a publisher that will feed our company by placing a mention. We’ve also provided them with the type of campaigns we’ve run in the past and what we’re expecting from them in terms of ideation for the digital PR campaigns they’re running for us. We've provided Fractl with the background, the guidelines, and the expectations for our project.Fractl secures online mentions for us through organic promotions. The team has created several strategies for interviews, quotes, campaigns, and brand mentions. What is the team composition? Our main point of contact is Joe, but we’ve also worked with Kip for the campaigns, Nicole for the quotes and mentions, and about 5–10 teammates from Fractl in total. How did you come to work with Fractl? We found them through Google. We chose them because of their good online reviews and proven case studies. We also chose them because they were ultra-professional when we met them. Fractl understood and listened to our needs, and we could see from the very first call that they knew what they were talking about regarding PR and SEO.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in June 2025, and the engagement is ongoing. We've just renewed our contract with Fractl.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Fractl has secured 60–70 online mentions through organic promotions. Fractl has improved our reputation by allowing our brand to be featured in publications that we wouldn’t have been able to target without their help. The quality of the campaigns they’ve produced for us is something that we didn’t have the resources or knowledge to do.Moreover, the team has contacts with journalists in the right publications to put us out there. By putting our brand in certain publications, Fractl is improving our brand image and position.Overall, they’ve exceeded our expectations. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?Fractl consistently stays on budget and meets deadlines. Sometimes, things are a bit delayed, but that’s on both sides because we sometimes take extra time for feedback or ask for extra things. Fractl is constantly clear in communicating what they can do with our budget. If there’s something else they can do for us, they always tell us.We mainly communicate through emails and Google Meet calls. What did you find most impressive about them? We’re impressed with Fractl's exceeded results, professionalism in communication, and active listening to us as clients. Their adaptability when receiving feedback makes them a great asset. It’s easy to work with them because they adapt to our needs and help us out. Fractl also takes care of informing themselves about who we are, what we need, and what our expectations are.Are there any areas they could improve?Fractl could improve the initial ideas they propose to us as a client. Sometimes, we don’t go with the first round of proposals for the campaigns, and there’s always feedback needed. Improving the outcome of the first proposal will save some time. However, Fractl is good at adapting to our feedback. The team comes with one proposal, we give them feedback, and the second proposal is already good.It isn't a big problem for us, and we're happy to provide Fractl with feedback, but it could've saved us a week on the campaign.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Don’t be afraid to ask for adaptability because Fractl will accomplish that. Also, ensure you answer all the questions and the questionnaire Fractl sends you at the beginning because that’ll be key for them to understand your company. The team asks the right questions, and it’s on the client to give the right answers.

**The Review** — Feb 3, 2026

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl's efforts have helped the client achieve strong placements with high domain authority. The team is responsive, collaborative, and timely, has a strong strategy, and they've been kind and wise throughout the engagement. Overall, the client is delighted with Fractl's performance.
""Fractl's response rate has been incredible throughout the entire partnership.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m a department director for an SEO-focused firm. We specialize in reputation management and organic growth strategies for our clients.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We hired Fractl to support our greater organic SEO strategy for a client. We needed help creating content campaigns that could earn high domain authority placements on other publisher sites.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl conducts research on behalf of our client with relevant topic areas. The team creates the campaign landing page and all the content based on the culmination of that research. Then, they leverage their extensive network of publishing partners to get exclusive content published on their sites for brand awareness and link authority that supports our client’s domain. At the start of the relationship, we shared as much as we could regarding our strategy with the client. We've also shared relevant client information and data that would be helpful for them to use as a jumping-off point. During the discovery phase, Fractl provided some documents based on what we had provided in those initial discussions. They've suggested topic areas that would be valuable and relevant. The team has also suggested a list of potential publishers that would be valuable targets.Ultimately, we aligned on the campaigns we would create over the course of the contract. Then, Fractl started researching and crafting the actual content. The discovery phase happened at the beginning of our 12-month contract. We've aligned on topics for the year. Since then, we’ve had a steady rotation of research, content creation, review, and work to get those campaigns published throughout the year. There has been an initial keyword research, but we already had a lot of foundational keyword research that drives our strategy with the client. We've provided that to Fractl and directed them from the start. We've told them the keywords we've been trying to gain momentum for. We've had some back-and-forth discussions, but it's been a combined effort. We collaborate upfront and review the content they create, but Fractl owns the process. The team does all the research and creates all the content. We give it the thumbs up, and our client gives it the thumbs up. Fractl's content goes directly to the client. What is the team composition? We’ve been in contact with a handful of people on the Fractl team. Joe, Fractl's director of content marketing, has been our main point of contact. He’s led the partnership along with me. We’ve also worked with several other staff members connected to or leading the research. They keep us apprised of how the research is going. Once Fractl creates the content, they share it with us for feedback. How did you come to work with Fractl?A couple of people at my company had either worked with Fractl or used to work for them. It was more of a recommendation that way. I had heard really positive things about them. Additionally, Fractl's strategy was impressive. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them in January 2025. We've actually renewed our contract with them for another year. Our client gets one campaign a month. It’s a well-oiled machine as far as conducting the research, creating the content for review, and working with us to get it approved and published by the client.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We’ve seen very strong placements of the high domain authority, which is the ultimate goal in this partnership. We’ve leveraged Fractl’s extensive contact list and earned placements we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. We’ve seen great success from the majority of the campaigns we’ve published over the last year. Some campaigns have been published on very high awareness sites. Others have been published on a site and then syndicated across a news outlet. This has helped us gain 200 more links on multiple new sites and the domain authority from all of those sites. Overall, Fractl has exceeded our expectations. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint? We’ve been impressed with them as a partner. I say that to anyone I get to talk to about Fractl. They’re highly impressive from a project management standpoint. The team responds rapidly and is consistently willing to collaborate and pivot if needed. They’re always on time.We operate together using a shared spreadsheet. We can all see the live updates, and that has worked well for us. We primarily communicate via email. Sometimes, we have Zoom calls, but mostly, we use email. What did you find most impressive about them?Fractl's response rate has been incredible throughout the entire partnership. They’re rapid responders, which is so valuable. Beyond that, the people who work there are incredibly kind and wise. In the first few conversations I had with them, I already felt they would be a very strong partner. From the onset, that went a very long way.Are there any areas they could improve? No, I don’t have any constructive feedback. They’re fantastic.Do you have any advice for potential customers? They’re an extremely creative group of people. Fractl does what they say they’re going to do, and they do it well. They also have a lot of interesting ideas you might not think of. Don’t be afraid to give them a little creative or strategic control if you’re looking to expand what you brought to the table for them. Fractl excels at expanding on ideas and collaborating further.

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl got the client over 1,400 media mentions and approximately 115 backlinks with a domain authority of over 70. The team met deadlines, stayed on budget, and communicated effectively. They were knowledgeable and skilled at original survey research.
"“They overdelivered.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the head of SEO and content at a math game company. We gamify the math learning process so kids can learn math through playing a fun game.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We had a lot of bad backlinks and very few strong ones. We hired Fractl to pursue better quality backlinks on major media websites.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl devised a plan for our engagement. They conducted surveys on our behalf, and we approved the topics and survey results. Then, they pitched stories about those surveys to media outlets all over the United States. They were responsible for images and text.Usually, there was a post on our site that had their images and data. They did a lot of pitching to media outlets, and those outlets would write a separate story that Fractl was not actually involved in the writing of. They would just pitch the idea or provide a part of the idea, essentially to the outlet. They came up with the ideas of which topics to pursue and created the content themselves. We also briefly worked with them on some other content they created for a website that was not pitched to the media. What is the team composition? Our primary points of contact were their content marketing and digital PR directors. How did you come to work with Fractl?I was brought on late in the process, so the engagement was already ongoing when I joined. How much have you invested with them?We invested around $141,000. What is the status of this engagement? The engagement lasted from May 2024–May 2025.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Fractl got us over 1,400–1,500 media mentions across the internet. They also got us approximately 40 DA90 or higher backlinks, approximately another 25 DA80 or higher, and another 50 DA70 or higher. In general, people were interested in the surveys. Some people were really enthusiastic about some of the surveys they did. We got a lot of positive news coverage. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint? They met deadlines and stayed on budget. We communicated via email and had a meeting every two weeks. What did you find most impressive about them? They overdelivered. They promised 300 mentions and backlinks, and they gave us 1,500. That was much more than we were looking for.Are there any areas they could improve? They could be a little closer to our market niche.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Fractl is a great partner for SEO, PR, and quality backlinks for your website. They know their stuff. You should work with them if you’re looking for original survey research. That has much more cachet with reporters than just regular blog posts. That’s what they’re really good at, and that’s why I recommend them.

""It feels like a true partnership; they're not just a vendor but a partner for us.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the senior director of content marketing at an online work marketplace. We connect businesses and freelance professionals worldwide to do all the jobs and work needed, including web development, graphic design, content marketing, advertising, and customer support.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We needed to scale the output of our content production. We needed to produce a large volume of content relatively quickly and simultaneously produce search-optimized content that could help our search rankings, drive more organic traffic to our site, and help with our brand awareness.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl has a detailed questionnaire and onboarding process for all their new clients to ensure they understand the client's business, their customers, pain points, and goals and objectives. We've used them for several things and expanded our relationship over the years.Initially, our relationship with Fractl started with content production, which helped us build our library of search-optimized content. The team has also designed data journalism pieces and interactive content for us. They've done SEO consulting for us and are doing a good deal of SEO consulting. What is the team composition?Fractl's team has adjusted over time. Right now, we have two primary contacts. We have a director on their team and a senior manager on the content marketing side. They have a team of experts that they rely on, including writers, editors, web designers, and developers. However, our primary contacts are the two people we've developed a great relationship with over the years. How did you come to work with Fractl?Fractl predates me, so I don't have a lot of insight into how we found them. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them in 2020, and our relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The team has done a fantastic job of understanding our business and expectations. They've learned our business well, a sign of a great agency partner. The ones that stand out and are beneficial are those with a deep knowledge of your business. Fractl does that through their onboarding and relationships with their clients over time.Since the beginning of our relationship with them, we've seen a triple-digit percentage increase in the amount of organic traffic our content generates. We've also seen a triple-digit percentage increase in the number of backlinks that we're getting from the content. Overall, they've worked on hundreds of articles of search-optimized content, and it's performed very well for us. It's always very high-quality and comprehensive content that we feel confident making available to our customers in the broader community.Fractl has always made it very clear to us that they have a wide range of services, including what we use them for and things like link building, PR services, and technical SEO optimization. And the nice thing about it is we've been able to tap into that wide breadth when needed. And it's been highly comforting and beneficial to know that we can turn to them for almost anything. The team has the experience and the skills on board to do that. Fractl is a friendly agency partner for whatever challenge in content marketing or SEO; Fractl is our first call when we need help. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?Fractl's responsiveness and customer service are outstanding. Over the years, we've had a few fire drills where we've needed quick assistance and their help with some teams and new projects. We've been able to do that literally within a couple of days with them. Fractl has always been incredibly flexible with us. We've had a lot of changes in our priorities. We can adjust the types of services that Fractl provides us fluidly and efficiently. That's helpful because things change frequently. The plans we set at the beginning of the year aren't always the plans we need at the end or in the middle of the year.We have a good relationship with them. We have a Slack channel, shared documents that we work on together, and regular calls with them. They're always very responsive and ready to help us out. We don't use Jira or Asana; we've kept it to shared Google Docs and a spreadsheet in which we track our current projects. That's met our needs. We've always had good communication with them to understand the status of the various projects they're working on. They're always on time to meet; I don't think there's a single deadline they've ever missed. They're often early and always on top of everything that they're working on for us.Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? We have been working with Joe, our director and primary point of contact, for a while. He's amazing. Rebecca is our other main point of contact. She is super impressive, also. And the entire Fractl team has been great. We've worked closely with their CEO, Nick. He is excellent and very responsive. The whole team has gone out of their way to ensure that their clients are cared for and to deliver service that always goes above and beyond. What did you find most impressive about them? This past summer, we needed to increase the content volume that Fractl produced for us significantly. We talked to Nick on a Thursday night, and by Monday, we had a plan and a project in place, and they had it staffed. And we were able to kick off the project and get it going. As a client, I appreciate that Fractl feels like an extension of our team. They understand the urgency and importance of our work and jump right in to help us solve it. We're linked arm-in-arm when we work with them. So I appreciate that.Fractl has been right next to us to figure out how we can adjust things to meet our current needs. We can dial up or dial down certain services. It feels like a true partnership; they're not just a vendor but a partner for us.We know we can call on them for virtually anything, and they will work with us on a solution. There are very few agencies that do that. It makes my team and I so much more effective in our work. Are there any areas they could improve?I don't think there's anything they can improve on. Anytime we have feedback for them, they listen and take it to heart. Fractl ensures they're meeting our needs. They use it to deliver even better service and products for us. They're a great agency, and I don't have anything I wish they would do differently.

The team has been organized, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Moreover, the team has met all deadlines. Overall, the team's innovative and collaborative approach has stood out.
"“Their work has exceeded our expectations.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m a senior brand manager at HeliosX, a healthtech company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? One of our core projects for the year was improving our SEO. We wanted to work with Fractl, a digital PR agency, to drive traffic to our website, ZipHealth, based in America, and create brand awareness.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? As part of our scope of work with Fractl, they’ve managed some data journalism campaigns and conducted reactive press quotes with the press they’ve been pitching for. At the start of our ideation, they asked many kickoff questions in which we shared our business objectives and what we hoped to achieve from the partnership. Then, the Fractl team did a comprehensive link gap analysis to understand what links were missing from a digital PR perspective to drive traffic to our site. They’ve also discussed where we could optimize press coverage to drive that traffic to our site.Essentially, they’ve come back with ideas to close the link gap and insights into topics that would be newsworthy and generate press for us. They’ve pitched these ideas to us, and we’ve given feedback on them. One of the most successful campaigns we’ve worked on with them has been the Soundtrack of Intimacy. What is the team composition? We initiated the conversation with Kelsey, the co-founder and head of digital PR. We’ve had three core team members we speak to most regularly: Joe, their content marketing director; Nicole, the head of digital PR and AI; and Kip, the associate director of digital PR. Additionally, there have been five other teams with whom we’ve been in regular contact on our Slack channel, including the data journalism team, which has been pitching campaigns and presenting reactive ideas to us regularly. How did you come to work with Fractl? An employee on a different team who previously worked with them at my company referred them to us. We chose them because we liked their approach to reviewing the link gap analysis and their data-driven approach to securing press coverage. Additionally, they’ve been very creative and shared our brand values. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent between $100,000–$250,000.What is the status of this engagement? Our first retainer for ZipHealth started in May 2024 and ended in October 2024. Then, we onboarded them for a second six-month period, from November 2024 to April 2025. We have Levity’s retainer with them from September 2024 to February 2025, another brand within our company.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Fractl has driven over 500 links and coverage across our brands, which has been great. As a result, we’ve achieved triple-digit growth, a 251% year-on-year in SEO traffic to our sites. One campaign has highlighted and explored the connection between music and sex.The team's in-depth ideas about closing the link gap have been specific to our brand objectives and aligned with the issues we’ve wanted to discuss. They’ve quickly amended the ideas where we’ve wanted to see some changes, and then we’ve progressed with some ideas we’ve been happy with. We’ve been so happy with the results of the first retainer that we’ve onboarded them for a second six-month period and for another weight loss brand within our company, Levity. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint? They’ve consistently met all deadlines. They’ve been highly organized and efficient, and collaboration with them has been very easy. We’ve shared a Google document where we review their pitches collaboratively and a tracker on Google Sheets. They’ve all been a pleasure to deal with and considerate of our needs and feedback. The work process has been streamlined, and we’ve mostly spoken on Slack. They’ve been highly responsive anytime we’ve had any questions. Their responses have been very thorough and positive, so it’s been a pleasure to work with them. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? They have been all equally great to work with, so I'm happy to list them all. Kelsey, Joe, Nicole, Kip, Adi, Merritt, Ricardo, and two more teammates have been great. What did you find most impressive about them? They’ve been very innovative in their approach. We’re pleased with the success and trust them as an invaluable partner. Their work has exceeded our expectations. We’re excited to continue achieving success and growing our SEO and digital PR efforts with them. Are there any areas they could improve? No, everything has been great.Do you have any advice for potential customers? The success has been due to the reactivity and transparency of the objectives across both partners. We’ve been clear about what we wanted to achieve and very open in our communication. It takes two to ensure a successful partnership, and it’s been collaborative. Just be laser-sharp on your goal; Fractl is the best partner to make that happen.

**The Review** — Dec 4, 2024

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl's work has secured placements on high-authority sites for the client, resulting in a 200%–400% increase in website traffic. The team delivers on time and showcases excellent project management and communication skills. Their ability to overdeliver on their promises has impressed the client.
""Fractl has an industry-standard profile in the digital world, which shows that they're best-in-class for what they do.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the marketing director at Payless Power, a retail electric provider that provides electricity to homes and businesses across Texas.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We needed help getting our company name and the services we provide in front of many people we usually wouldn't be able to get in front of. We also needed help with link building and a more holistic digital PR approach.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl provides us with link-building, content marketing, and digital PR services. They provide detailed campaigns that we give to our internal web development team to post on our blog. The campaigns also contain assets, such as infographics, that we can utilize across social media platforms. The assets they provide have color schemes that match our company colors, so everything feels like Payless Power, even though Fractl does most of the work.Fractl has provided complimentary technical SEO services a few times due to last-minute requests on our end. When someone on our internal team can't help, Fractl steps in. They've used a tool for scraping pages and figured out which keywords should be highlighted for the campaign they're focusing on. They do a lot of research before they provide us with the campaign details. Most of their digital PR work involves crafting timely topics, such as political campaigns, that relate to our business. For example, they've done fundraising campaigns related to Taylor Swift's touring, how much electricity she uses for her shows, and how that ties back to our company. What is the team composition? We communicate with 5–10 people every week. Most of those reach out for separate campaigns, and some are specific to the technical SEO side of the project. We also communicate sometimes with Kelsey, the acting Account Manager. How did you come to work with Fractl? This is our second partnership with Fractl. When we began our first project a couple of years ago, we tried to find someone to assist with link building and a holistic digital PR approach. That project ended around 18 months ago, and we decided to reach out and partner again. How much have you invested with them? We've spent $275,000.What is the status of this engagement? We've been working with them since June 2024, and our engagement lasts 12 months.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We measure our success based on the placements Fractl is getting, such as CNN, Yahoo, and Good Morning America, rather than any specific data. We've received several placements and links from Fractl from many local newspaper companies in Dallas and Fort Worth. The team creates content that is extremely attractive to high-authority sites, which puts Payless Power in front of a national audience. It's clear that whenever the team lands us on high-priority sites, we experience a substantial 200% to 400% increase in web traffic. Their contacts across the industry, from local newspaper companies to larger-scale new sites, and getting our name out there with those companies have been substantial for us.How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint? They've been highly proficient in project management, using a mix of Asana and Google Docs. The scope of work laid out at the beginning of the project is very detailed. Their weekly communication has been fantastic from start to finish; we've held meetings via Google Meet throughout the engagement to ensure everybody's on track. They've always been on time, if not early, and what they said they would provide is fantastic. We've been very thrilled with how they handle their business and execute what they promised. What did you find most impressive about them? We're just thrilled with the work the entire Fractl team has done on our account. In our space, it's easy to overpromise and underdeliver. Fractl has overpromised and over-delivered, which is unique in this space. It shows that their relationships across all industries benefit them and their clients. It's impressive that they wowed us with what they promised in our first meetings, and we've been wowed the entire time. Fractl has an industry-standard profile in the digital world, which shows that they're best-in-class for what they do.Are there any areas they could improve?I don't have any recommendations; we've been perfectly pleased with them.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Trust what Fractl says they can do and provide. They'll do it. They've stuck to their word the entire time, and I trust what they say they'll do.

The team also has contributed to publishing and referencing our content on other sites. Fractl also manages our SEO strategy and has helped us build pillar and hubspoke type of content to improve our organic search rankings. What is the team composition? We work with around 4–5 teammates from Fractl, including Kristin (Co-Founder & SVP of Creative), an account manager, a support content specialist, and two outreach specialists. How did you come to work with Fractl?I met Fractl by Kristin who was a speaker at a conference I happened to attend. Kristin presented previous work their company did, and I found the angles they took very interesting. How much have you invested with them? We've spent roughly over $200,000.What is the status of this engagement? We began working with Fractl in October 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Since our first statement of work with Fractl, we've seen a 50% lift in our organic traffic, and our unique referring domains have grown by over 200. Fractl's level of analysis and reporting is great. We've seen a general increase in organic traffic, particularly for our blog and resource area, where we host all our content. We've also seen increased visibility for featured snippets, which are essential in SEO. We can now answer critical questions in our user journey directly in search. Additionally, we've seen an increase in our content's visibility in Google News, which has a high threshold of what qualifies as content eligible to show up in Google News. We've also seen tremendous growth in our backlink profile and domain authority. Fractl's work meets my expectations and understands the general nature of search engines. The team has helped us prioritize topics for which we've gained a lot of visibility from an organic search perspective. Moreover, Fractl conducts robust and rigorous surveys to collect data and distill it into a story. In today's world, where users pump out content, being able to tie it back to the supporting data gives it authority and a unique perspective. Once users and publishers read the content written by Fractl and find it valuable, we find success in their work. Fractl delivers high-quality and data-rich content. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?Fractl is very professional in terms of delivery and communication. We have set up a Slack channel as our primary communication channel. Fractl feels like a part of our internal team. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?I want to give a shout-out to Kristin. I'm impressed by what she's doing in the content and SEO industry with their company — I think it's groundbreaking. She's doing an innovation that excites me and seeps through the entire company's approach to content creation, SEO, and digital PR.What did you find most impressive about them?Fractl's data analysis skills and ability to use data to tell stories are their biggest strengths. Being able to tell a story in such a beautiful way regarding design and how they put it together really sets the team apart. Are there any areas they could improve? The only area Fractl can improve on is increasing their bandwidth. The team has big clients, and their bandwidth is probably stretched. Fractl doesn't fall short by any measure, but I've noticed they seem pretty stretched. My only feedback is the team probably needs to expand.Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?Ensure you have clear objectives and goals to present to Fractl. Stay as close as possible to the data so you can share that journey and identify which content works and what success looks like. This way, both teams have something to hold each other accountable for.

**The Review** — Aug 3, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: Since they engaged with Fractl, the client saw increased web traffic, and the service provider supplied one successful campaign. The client was appreciative of Fractl’s transparency regarding expectations and communication skills. The team plans to engage with Fractl again in the future.
"“We were satisfied with the services.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I am the founder of an informational content blog and YouTube channel in the Home niche.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We hired Fractl to execute data journalism campaigns. We hired them because we thought it would be faster to hire a third party rather than hire someone internally and train them. We were also hoping to leverage Fractl’s previous relationships with journalists. Our engagement aimed to get top-tier websites to link back to our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl completed our data journalism campaigns and provided tracking and analytics through their proprietary reporting system. The team went out and found topics that could be of interest to journalists and created a database around those topics. We then published the information on our website. After the campaigns ended, Fractl contacted journalists at top-tier publishers and pitched the campaigns and the data they discovered to get a feature. Fractl was responsible for creating landing pages, delivering HTML files, custom images, and anything else that went along with the campaign. Our company then chose the campaigns that we thought had the most relevance and would have the most success. What is the team composition? We worked with about 5–7 individuals. We collaborated most closely with the director of content marketing and the digital PR manager. How did you come to work with Fractl? We found them through a Google search. We spoke to a few different providers to better understand the services they could provide and eventually decided to move forward with Fractl. How much have you invested with them?We spent around $70,000. What is the status of this engagement? We worked together between November 2022–July 2023.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We saw an increase in website traffic by 80%; we can’t say that all of that was due to Fractl’s work, but we do think that their work contributed to it. They executed six campaigns, and one exceeded our expectations; however, they communicated early on the expectations we should have for the engagement, so we were satisfied with the services. We plan to engage with them in the future. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint? The engagement took a little longer than expected, but that was not on Fractl’s end, and they were flexible with making that new timeline work. They did a great job with communication and were good at meeting deadlines. We had ongoing phone calls, and always communicated via email. What did you find most impressive about them? The team was very upfront with setting expectations and was highly communicative. Are there any areas they could improve? We had to ask for some specific reporting to get more clarity around work, and it would have been nice to have that information upfront. Do you have any advice for potential customers?Go in with the expectation that not every campaign will be effective. Nothing is guaranteed because the campaigns are highly dependent on the response of journalists.

**The Review** — Jun 19, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: The client is happy with Fractl’s spot-on delivery and flexibility in adapting to changes, learning, and testing different approaches. The team excels at efficient project management and delivers on or ahead of time. Their excellent work requires few change requests, which inspires confidence.
"“We appreciate their attitude and willingness to test and learn with us.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m a senior global marketing manager for a leading travel technology company. Although we’re based in the UK, we have a global business across many markets, especially in the US, the UK, and Singapore. We help 100 million travelers worldwide look for the best prices, mainly in flights but also hotels and car rentals.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We were looking for SEO services because we noticed a dip in our organic traffic in the US especially. Initially, we were unsure about what caused the drop. Although we knew there were a few reasons, we wanted to make sure before we tested approaches.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Fractl provides us with SEO services. They have created a strategy and now produce long-form content for us and work with our internal team to distribute it. What is the team composition? We're primarily in contact with three teammates from Fractl. Aside from them, other teammates work on the project we don't directly interact with. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?Nick (President) and Joe (Director of Content Marketing) have been instrumental in helping us. We appreciate how agile and forthcoming they are whenever we make a request. How did you come to work with Fractl? When we were looking for service providers, all our teammates looked into their network, and we gathered 5–6 candidates to whom we applied selection criteria. Fractl was one of those references. They were a recommendation by a senior colleague who knew someone who had worked with Fractl. How much have you invested with them? For the initial six months, we paid them $60,000. What is the status of this engagement? Our initial engagement lasted from July–December 2022. Since then, we've renewed our engagement with them for all of 2023, so our collaboration is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Fractl is quick and flexible to change and move with us. We acknowledged our internal issues during our initial six-month contract, so we couldn't attribute much success to Fractl. One of the campaigns they created worked well and got us the desired results, but we couldn't move forward due to our internal ways of working.Still, we see merit in all the work Fractl does. We appreciate their attitude and willingness to test and learn with us. Since the 2023 contract is ongoing, we don't have any metrics yet. How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?Their project management is very efficient. They always deliver on time or ahead of time. What did you find most impressive about them?Fractl's project management is excellent. While some third-party partners aren't that responsible with delivery, Fractl's delivery is spot-on. Their work is always well done, so we don't request many changes after they deliver. Their performance has inspired confidence in my immediate team and other teams within our company, so it was easy to renew their contract. Are there any areas they could improve? They could report more to demonstrate success since that part was left mainly to us during the first six months. However, they may not have been able to create concrete reports due to the shifts and changes during that first period. Still, at the end of the six months, we would have liked to see a report with what they learned. Do you have any advice for potential customers?Go for Fractl — they're a great company to test and learn. Their attitude and agility enable them to test SEO strategies and make suggestions.

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl’s work resulted in over 100 new backlinks, a 1–2-point increase in domain authority for the website, and increased site traffic. The team had valuable partnerships with publications. Fractl's efforts garnered attention from credible publications. Email and Zoom facilitated communication.
""One of their biggest strengths was conducting surveys and finding buzzworthy data.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the SEO manager at Electric AI. I’m in charge of website optimization, driving traffic to our site, and converting that traffic.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl? We wanted to get our brand more exposure on the internet. We had decent word-of-mouth marketing, but we wanted to be associated with a broader range of more authoritative sites.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We hired Fractl to create content for our website and acquire backlinks. Initially, I told Fractl what we were looking for and what our company does and met with their team to set goals. Our industry, IT and general technology, is broad and busy, so it’s difficult to get traffic and notoriety. Fractl pitched several ideas of content they wanted to produce for us, and we figured out what would be good for our brand and interesting enough for others to pick it up.Fractl conducted research and surveys, then generated infographics, blogs, and reports to publish to our WordPress site, which they had access to. Then, they pitched this content to high-authority publications in the hopes of getting an exclusive feature posted, resulting in backlinks to our site. One example was a report that Fractl created about which entity gives the best advice: TikTok, AI, or an IT expert. Various technology websites and local news organizations posted about this. Fractl also created a post about a music-streaming platform. When publications requested a quote, Fractl would put one together and send it to us for our approval. They offered a service that was a bit different, which involved coming up with a story related to our business that capitalized on a trending news topic. When the spy balloon was floating around, Fractl created a report for us about Americans’ concern for the nation’s cybersecurity. We do cybersecurity work, and the spy balloon caused fear around cybersecurity vulnerabilities, so they pitched this post to the press. What is the team composition? We mainly talked to Kristin (Coo-Founder & SVP of Creative) about reporting and the partnership generally. We also worked closely with Kyler (Sr Digital PR Strategist), who made sure the right publications were being contacted, and the partnership was going smoothly. Joe (Director of Content Marketing) helped design the web posts. Aditya (Data Journalism Lead) also helped put together the web content. How much have you invested with them?We spent $60,000 for a six-month engagement. What is the status of this engagement? The partnership formally began in late November 2022, and our engagement ended in May 2023.How did you come to work with Fractl?Fractl was highly recommended to me by a colleague.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? With Fractl’s help, we gained over 100 new backlinks, which was an impressive metric. Our domain authority for our website rose by 1–2 points. We also saw an improvement in organic and general site traffic. We were really happy with the results and the backlinks.Fractl asked the right questions and had good relationships with many publications, which was a huge advantage. It was hard to get the attention of publications, so Fractl’s connections were helpful. Their post about TikTok, AI, and IT experts was good for our brand and generated a lot of buzz and high-authority backlinks. Fractl’s content got us mentioned in PCMag and Yahoo Finance. How did the company perform from a project management standpoint? The team was really communicative and made sure the partnership went smoothly and was on track. We almost always communicated via email, which we told them was the best method when they asked us. We also met over Zoom 2–3 times. They used a Google Sheets tracker to manage the project, which was different than our usual Asana system but worked fine. What did you find most impressive about them? One of their biggest strengths was conducting surveys and finding buzzworthy data. We didn’t have a data science team, so we lacked the bandwidth to do this. Fractl conducted research and pitched it really well to legitimate, high-authority publications, which can be tough. Are there any areas they could improve?I could’ve used more communication at the beginning of the engagement to let me know how the content production was going. Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?I’d recommend giving Fractl as much information as you can when crafting the ideas to pitch. Also, give Fractl the space to be creative. There were some posts that I wasn’t sure would do well, but I trusted Fractl, and they did well. It’s also important to be agile with Fractl’s communication and respond quickly when they need you to.

We hired them to do data research.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl provided data research, content creation, and SEO services for us. They created data sets, published them on our site, and then did link building for that content. The team would create a data set, then present us with a study idea. If we liked the proposal, we worked with them to see which site it would be best for.

From here, they created graphics, charts, and a report. Once that was ready, they would publish the article on our WordPress site. When the article was live, they advertised it and did marketing to get links back to our website. They posted about 20 featured articles.

What is the team composition?

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Usually, we measure the results by the traffic we receive on the articles that Fractl generates. Specifically, our KPI is the number of backlinks we're acquiring — we've seen significant traffic increases.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Fractl is good at meeting deadlines. However, communication is a 4 out of 5 because, sometimes, they're slow to respond. Our communication is via emails and phone calls, and Fractl provides reports that they then present on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They bring good ideas every time we have brainstorming discussions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Last year, I felt the team wasn't large enough for the project we wanted to execute, but they've made changes this year. We're going to give them time to expand their resource pool. They're also planning ahead, increasing communication to improve the partnership.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend them to anyone who would like to generate backlinks and brand awareness with nice pieces of content made for backlink creators.

**The Review** — Jul 7, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: In six months, Fractl delivered 40 high-quality articles. Thanks to their work, traffic improved significantly with over 15,000 clicks in a month. Also, the published articles already generated hundreds of backlinks. Overall, the team was easy to work with; they led a flawless project management.
"“We had zero issues with them, and they always exceeded expectations.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior global SEO manager for McAfee. I’ve been doing SEO for 20 years and was formerly an SEO manager at Walmart. Also, I’ve done SEO at Apple and many other Silicon Valley tech startup companies.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We had gaps with our competitors — they ranked with content we didn’t have. We needed help with content expansion, particularly SEO-optimized content that will rank well and get good quality backlink opportunities.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Our partnership with Fractl was focused on content creation. Our main relationship was on an identity theft article as a link-building exercise. Fractl developed over 40 articles around identity protection. They were fully optimized and had excellent quality content, research, and background to look for keyword opportunities with high search volume and content caps on our website.

What is the team composition?

We had 3–4 people working with us, including an account manager, a creative person, a content manager, and copywriters. Sometimes they had several people involved in the meetings, depending on which part of the relationship we were at, whether it was an ideation session, delivering articles, or reviewing the following content. Nick (President) joined the calls often, but they were mainly run by Meg (Director of Client Services), Andrea (Director of Content), and Nick.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

Someone in my previous company referred them to me. I tried them out and had a wonderful experience. When I joined McAfee and was tasked with finding a good SEO content organization to grow our backlink profile and increase our global content footprint to generate the most traffic we could, Fractl was my first choice. I like to choose vendors that have proven to work well with my team and deliver results.

How much have you invested in them?

The total cost for the agreement was $120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in December 2021. We signed a six-month contract, and the project was just completed in July 2022. At McAfee, we have to create an ROI statement to renew vendors, and we’re trying to negotiate another deal. I’ll go back to upper management to continue content generation with them. We look forward to continuing our relationship.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Despite the short period of six months working together, we’re already seeing an increase in organic traffic. Some articles have gone viral and gotten hundreds of backlinks from major publications. It’s working out perfectly and is exactly what we expected — we knew they had the best quality content and link acquisition in the business.

McAfee reviews all the content, and we’ve seen over a 15,000 click improvement in traffic over a month from the content we’ve generated. In general, we have excellent feedback about them — hundreds of backlinks are already generated from published articles.

Moreover, they developed an identity theft strategy of a network of content. McAfee is known as an antivirus company, and now we’re just breaking into the identity theft protection space. The identity theft protection that they generated has proven to raise our product page for identity theft protection with many pages of ranking improvement. It fluctuates, but they did an exceptional job on the SEO research of each article. It was so well thought out that I rarely had to give any recommendations other than choosing the topics they’d work on. I was super impressed; they produced stellar work.

Overall, the partnership was very successful, and everyone on our team agreed. Anyone at McAfee would say that our relationship with Fractl was one of the best we’ve had. Everything is showing proof of increased traffic. We see the backlinks and publications popping up with links to our site, as well as the traffic coming in. We highly recommend them; we only have great things to say about them.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was always flawless. We had weekly meetings to go over the status and updates on what articles were in production and what was coming up. They always attended the meetings on time and had great ideation sessions. Also, they were diligent and prepared. Fractl had an incredible organization and excellent reporting.

They were a well-oiled machine; Fractl knew how to do it right the first time.

We had a Slack channel and used email and Google Docs. We had many shared documents on all the different content organized by status and links, which were well put together.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were a wonderful team to work with. Fractl was one of those vendors we didn’t have to worry about. We’ve had several problems with other vendors, but Fractl was our favorite one by far. We had zero issues with them, and they always exceeded expectations. We have the best things to say about them because their work was of the highest quality. Whenever we used other resources to do copywriting, even some of our internal consultants, it just wasn’t the same.

One of their key strengths was that they were always ahead of us with the production, emails, updates, and reviews. We were impressed with their delivery speed and quality. We didn’t go back and forth with many edits, problems, or mistakes. They put a lot of effort into it, which showed in our smooth relationship. With other vendors, we have to go back and forth 50 times to fix everything, but that wasn’t the case here. Working with Fractl was a pleasure.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I honestly can’t think of anything that would’ve improved the relationship. We were impressed that they delivered 40 articles in six months. Every single one was high quality; we were pleased with our relationship.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You can implement the content yourself if you have a WordPress blog or a specific type of platform. I wish my company would’ve let them do their own implementation because publishing it ourselves slowed us down. They offered to do it for us, but McAfee didn’t feel comfortable giving that access. In my previous company, they allowed it, and Fractl did a fantastic job. It made things go even faster.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with the thoroughness and detailedness of the content Fractl creates.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate often and voice any concerns that you have. Fractl is very receptive and take everything that you want into consideration. They’re also very collaborative, so just be vocal.

**The Review** — Jan 6, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: Though the overall results of the engagement are difficult to fully track at this point, the client has seen increases in traffic to their product site so far. With strong content and a clear project schedule, Fractl helped them to be more highly regarded in their industry.
""Their organization of the project was strong and made our engagement very transparent."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder and director of a digital marketing company. We have a featured product that functions as an online job resource for candidates with job interviews coming up. It helps users prepare for questions and provides strategies for interviews.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We wanted to do some outreach and have our materials viewed by heavy-hitters in the industry. Their team was responsible for providing a full-service outreach plan.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us create content that would interest other large websites, creating web campaigns in the form of surveys. Using the data from the surveys, they created thorough data-driven blog posts to engage larger publications with our company.

From there, they would use their contacts at various online publications to promote their pieces. They pitched the concepts within the blog posts to writers in hopes they would find the data interesting and decide to use the data as a basis for their own articles. When they were successful in doing this, we’d receive links back to our own material. That would better our SEO performance and help us gain exposure to new markets.

What is the team composition?

We had touchpoints with several people on the creative end, but our main point of contact was our account manager. I engaged with 3–4 people in total.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

We did online research and discovered their services. After reaching out and liking their services, we decided to onboard them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $80,000 on their work.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May 2019–June 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re quite happy with the results. In this industry, it can take a while to see the positive results of work. Even early into the project, we experienced increases in traffic. Now, our expertise is better regarded in our industry than it was before we ran campaigns with them. We feel that’s a result of the work they’ve done for us.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was one of their biggest strengths. Everything was mapped out, clear, and delivered on time. We always knew what they needed from us in terms of materials, and they were always available to us when we had questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their organization of the project was strong and made our engagement very transparent. They were extremely professional and communicated well. While they were the experts, they weren’t rigid in their ideas. Instead, they allowed us to get involved with the ideation process, taking time to listen to our opinions and ideas on our industry.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would’ve been great to see some more success from some of the campaigns. However, they met our expectations with the success we had. They’re a great company, and we’re looking into doing some more work with them in the future.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open-minded and willing to place some trust in their team. They’re well-prepared and qualified to execute these campaigns well. We were willing to try their ideas and were successful with them.

**Feedback Summary**: The team’s deliverables generated links in notable publications and facilitated a 40% increase in website traffic month over month. Their responsiveness and diligent reporting ensure transparent collaboration. Fractl efficiently developed industry expertise to ensure a valuable partnership.
""I’m most impressed by how quickly their team built domain expertise."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a financial education company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We hired Fractl to help us produce high-quality content with an eye towards building a good reputation with search engines — basically Google.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl came up with a framework for the types of content that we should develop. They ideated on topics and then hired writers and editors to produce the content. And then also, they published that content to our website.

In addition to those responsibilities, they produce surveys on topics that are relevant to our company and audience. Once their team finalizes the surveys, they analyze the data and reach out to editors. The goal is to get them to use our and link back to our site. Their efforts focus on SEO initiatives.

Their team also advised us on how to structure our website. They provided guidance on how to structure and organize our content to provide a good UX.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with probably 6–7 people but mostly communicate with our account lead and a PR specialist.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

We found them through word of mouth. A friend of mine has a company that engaged Fractl and recommended them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $275,000 on their services so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around August 2019, and their work’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We launched the site in January, so our traffic is still low. But we receive hundreds of visitors a day, which is attributable to Fractl’s indexed content. All of our traffic’s organic. Our month over month growth is around 40%, so we're growing nicely. We’ve also had our survey data mentioned in 25–30 articles published by reputable news outlets.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

We set up Slack channels to communicate with Fractl. We meet with them once a week. We use Google Sheets to keep track of the project. Those tools work well for us.

They’re responsive to questions and follow-ups. Their team keeps our status report up to date. At any time, I can go to that report and see the status of various parts of the project. I have visibility into their work as well as confidence that they’ll respond to my questions and concerns.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed by how quickly their team built domain expertise. Our business is related to education finances, which is a technically nuanced industry. It’s difficult to fake your way through content on that topic and it’s important to us that our content’s solid, accurate, and up to date. Other writers and editors didn’t come up to speed as fast as the Fractl team. When they submit content, I’m confident that it will be of a high caliber and demonstrate a deep understanding of our industry.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their services are expensive but worth it. They’re fairly fast, but as a client, I wish we could go faster.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise potential clients to review a sample of their work. They could also agree to a short initial engagement to evaluate their outputs. Based on that experience, both parties will have a better understanding of how to structure a longer-term engagement. We didn’t do that, and it worked out well. But it would’ve been great to know from the get-go that their team had the ability to write authoritatively about our industry.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a senior marketing manager for a B2B service company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We were looking to gain more visibility online for our business.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl helped us conduct surveys and research as well as create and promote content. First, they strategized the type of content that would be successful and aligned with our strategies. Their team then strategized around how they would research, build, and promote that content. The Fractl team created infographics, visuals, and copy. Then, they published that content to our blog and promoted it.

What is the team composition?

I specifically worked with one point of contact. During the kickoff phase, more individuals joined our calls. After that, it turned into biweekly calls between the account lead and me.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

A colleague had experience with them and heard good things about their work. We then set up the exploration phase.

What is the status of this engagement?

This was a six-month engagement.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We noticed a notable volume of mentions to our business that was attributed to their content. The volume was slightly lower than what we hoped to capture. However, when they picked up a promotion, it was often sizable. These mentions came from reputable publishers.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Once Fractl understood our services, their project management was great. Their team created weekly reports that we received on Monday mornings. I enjoyed speaking and strategizing with their project lead. They often delivered on deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fractl’s able to get high-quality mentions of our business and content on reputable sites. It was almost a guarantee that they would be able to get those mentions, which was nice.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of any ways they should improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Ensure that their Fractl’s services align with what you want to accomplish for your business.

My role is head of organic growth, which is focused on direct traffic visitors and their site experience across the business portfolio.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

They support content marketing. Fractl is at the juncture between data analytics and resources with strong writing and design that can be customized to fit into any of our portfolio companies.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We use them across two of our companies right now and are able to see the consistency with the same strengths. It’s really inspiring. They provide a full stable of writing, design, and editing talent as well as economic research.

What is the team composition?

I have two points of contact, and they bring in a few other individuals on the team if needed.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

I was researching content marketing companies and examined what people assessed them on and what they offered. We were aligned on their core competencies and what my focus has been. We want to support the main funnel. The way they set up their firm was aligned with how I view website growth.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $200,000 over the course of the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2019 and it’s ongoing. We just renewed our contract.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It has been fantastic. We’ve earned external placements and have been featured on news sites. Their long-form articles have been referenced as expert reports by FOX, MSNBC, The Atlantic, and POLITICO. With that, there has been steady uphill growth for organic content marketing channels.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

I would give them a 10 out of 10. I see them as a true partner. I work with many different vendors, and they’re the only team I consider partners. From their communication, availability, and willingness to see the business do better, they’re deeply entrenched with the performance of our business. They don’t just complete the deliverables; they see our success as their success and want us to do well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They click with communication. They understand that I might not be able to respond to them that day, but I will get there when I can. Whenever we need to have a conversation, they’re readily available. They keep working towards the direction they want to go in. Their energy level has been outstanding and I look forward to the conversations we have every week.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re fantastic.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust their decision making and be open to various discussions. They’re open to change, so if they come to ideation sessions and pitch three new ideas, you should consider their ideas. Their ideation sessions are more of a back and forth brainstorm.

**Feedback Summary**: The project resulted in coverage from a dozen major publications and thousands of new visitors. Fractl conducted in-depth research that helped target new audiences. Their team has an impressive network. They’re organized and communicative, resulting in a transparent and successful partnership.
"“Their data is so in-depth and original. It’s impressive. It really makes us stand out in the market.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the chief growth officer at BuzzStream. We’re a product for link-building and PR professionals who want to target contacts for the purpose of getting coverage or links for their clients or their websites.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

Although we have an internal content team, we don't really have a PR engine that can earn bigger placements and links from publications that are highly influential in our industry. So we specifically wanted to build out our content program

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted to target significant publications online, which is their area of specialty. They repurposed content to expand coverage to other blogs and publications. The content they produced was primarily for reaching out to online publication hubs.

What is the team composition?

I’m working directly with two team members, and three that I work with indirectly.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

We’ve had a relationship with them for quite some time. They’re a customer of ours. They produce quality work as well. They’re on a number of authoritative publications because they do data analysis in our space as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $7,500 per month since January (approximately$37,500 total).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2020 and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve earned coverage from about 12 major publications. We’ve seen a boost in traffic, in the range of about an additional 3,000 visitors. Their work is very in-depth. The amount of data they pull together is amazing. All of the data they produce is original, and that’s very valuable. That gives us an edge when we reach out to publications.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. It’s very clear throughout the process. We’re able to be involved as little or as much as we’d like. There are some projects that directly overlaps with what we’re trying to do, and others are more tangential, and that oversight is an impedance.

In terms of communication, always know what’s going on, which makes it easy to manage. They never miss deadlines and logistics are good. Overall, it’s very solid.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their data is so in-depth and original. It’s impressive. It really makes us stand out in the market. It’s a lot of work to come up with these surveys and reports, but it’s very valuable. There’s a lot of noise, and so we always need that advantage.

The other thing that is really impressive is their network and outreach. They do an exceptional job of, not only targeting publications, but building relationships with them in order to increase the likelihood of getting a placement on that publication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement, but overall, I don’t think they could have done a better job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re very focused on achieving the goals that you set for them. They can and will perform along a wide spectrum of KPIs. The clearer you can be on what you actually want, the better the outcome will be. They’ll be able to align everything to your goals.

**The Review** — Apr 29, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl has generated more links. Although the project is ongoing, their partners are happy with the impact the project has had on SEO. They stand out from their competitors because they can do everything from start to finish. The team is responsive and easy to work with.
"“We usually receive an email, but we can hop on a call at any time. They’re usually very responsive.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We operate an affiliate business for streaming services. We have a website with a lot of content on streaming. When users come to our site and purchase a streaming service, we receive commission. Essentially, we’re a lead generation business.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We had to generate more backlinks to our website for SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They specialize in what they call digital PR. So, they’re creating really interesting content asset, pitching that to the media, and getting links from that. They would come up with ideas, run it by us, collected data, visualized it, and then would write and pitch it. They do it from beginning to end.

What is the team composition?

I have a single point of contact.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

We were in an SEO Slack group, and I asked a question. One of their co-founders answered, and they really stood out. So, I decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent roughly $70,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We brought them onboard in October 2019 and we continue to work together today.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve definitely seen an increase in backlinks. The impact that has had on our website is a little difficult to measure because SEO is a long-term investment. We’re happy with the number of links they’ve generated.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

They check in once a week. We usually receive an email, but we can hop on a call at any time. They’re usually very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re able to do every part of the process. From ideation, data collection, and outreach, they’ve been able to handle it all.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be diligent in keeping up to date on what they’re doing. Because they can do everything, it’s easy not to interact with them and let them do their own things. The project can benefit from your industry insights. That can really help them to a great job.

**The Review** — Jan 10, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl has played a critical role in earning coverage and building search performance. Internal stakeholders appreciate that they deliver content on time and in a convenient format. The responsive and transparent team excels at managing expectations, and they have a strong network of media sources.
"“The results have spoken for themselves.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the SEO manager for an online media company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

We needed a partner to help us with market research. In my role as SEO manager, we often look to make improvements to our sites, but we also need to promote the sites externally, whether it’s through publications or link building, etc.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl performs market research and helps us come up with original content ideas. They write content for articles on certain topics and distribute them to publications and lists that we have connections with for coverage.

Our main engagement has been around marketing campaigns for some other brands and websites that we promote. We have ideation sessions on business- and home-related topics, working with Fractl to come up with newsworthy ideas. Then, they produce the content. We run 1,000 people per campaign. They use data to come up with our primary market and create surveys based on the discussions that we have with them. Then, we publish our findings and get new coverage easily from high-authority news sources for publications, blogs, etc. They’re delivering stuff all the time. It’s very much an ongoing relationship.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is Ryan (VP of Services, Fractl). I’m also in contact with a project manager who receives tasks.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

They were a referral. Our company actually acquired some other properties we worked on, and the working relationship with Fractl came from the previous owner of one of those businesses.

How much have you invested with them?

My company spends $300,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in late 2018, and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have spoken for themselves. Fractl’s work has been really key to our coverage strategy. They provide high-authority, respectable publications. Teaming up with Fractl and creating these original pieces has been really effective in earning us coverage and performance in search. Things are usually delivered in a very convenient format for us to work with, and we go from there.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Fractl is really responsive. There’s clear communication. They’re good at delivering on time and managing expectations when things don’t go as planned. Everything is delivered as described the majority of the time. When things haven’t been delivered exactly on time, there have always been explanations. I don’t hold that against them. We have weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have been really effective at delivering, communicating, and managing expectations. They have good relationships established. They have a good network, whether it be with reporters or press or however they work their magic to really get our story in front of people’s eyes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I have no trouble recommending their services to somebody looking for quality research and distribution to publications.

**The Review** — Mar 18, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Fractl has successfully transformed a shadow brand into a leading voice within the security market. There have been dramatic improvements in search engine rankings, link building, and media coverage. From content creation to web development to customer service, Fractl delivers unparalleled results.
"“Fractl’s scope has evolved, but their success is consistent.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

ADT has been the leading provider of security and automation services for more than 140 years. As the senior SEO manager, I oversee the company’s digital search marketing efforts.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

While the ADT brand is a household name, our Protection 1 service isn't as well known. We wanted to build awareness around the lesser-known service and establish the brand as a leading expert in home security.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl is helping us amplify our voice within the local markets. Their team develops a unique mix of marketing initiatives using data science projects and customer surveys. A great bulk of their work involves content marketing for SEO. In addition to advertising our services, they promote our company’s culture and core values through strategic content. We work together to research our target consumers, compile web experiences, and drive traffic. When reaching out to media outlets, they provide publications with creative assets. They were also commissioned to work on a few projects for our ADT account. Recently, they developed a UX-optimized crime heatmapping web tool.

What is the team composition?

Fractl’s account strategist serves as our main point of contact, but we also interacted with their co-founder and senior vice president of creative. Their development, outreach, and SEO teams fluctuate depending on the size of the task.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

One of their co-founders reached out to me via LinkedIn, and I agreed to meet up with them. During the meeting, they explained how their company works and what sets their services apart from their competitors. Their pitch resonated with me, so we decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

Our annual spend is a little more than $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Fractl in December 2015, and the partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Protection 1 was originally one of the largest unknown security companies in the market, but Fractl has positioned our brand as a prominent thought leader in the security industry. Several reputable websites are mentioning our name and embedding our links in their content, as a result of Fractl’s link building strategies; their SEO tactics have generated similar success. We have also received a generous amount of media coverage for our brand and innovative products. Since we began working with Fractl, we've achieved record highs in key areas of our SEO program. Whether developing content or web tools, their deliverables are always high-quality. Fractl’s scope has evolved, but their success is consistent.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with them is similar to working with an internal stakeholder because they are genuinely invested in our business goals. Although nothing is guaranteed in the marketing world, Fractl has the perfect level of commitment to ensure that the outcome is as successful as possible. Their team is highly responsive to our needs and always available to speak with us in-person or via phone, email, and text. We also appreciate their flexibility with scheduling.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team came to us with exceptional ideas and a vast network of media contacts, which we were able to leverage and achieve outstanding results for our brand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have not disappointed us yet.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

To get the most out of their services, we recommend giving Fractl as much creative freedom as possible. Restrictions will only yield limited results.

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the digital marketing manager for an HR company. We offer SaaS technologies and platforms that provide small- and medium-sized business with payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services. I’m responsible for the overall strategy and performance of our web properties.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**

We were looking for data-driven content marketing services, as well as best practices for pitching and placing content.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create more engaging content to increase our macro- and micro-conversions. We also aimed to drive traffic from third-party sources and secure coverage and links from authoritative sources.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

They were recommended by Moz, an SEO marketing company. We narrowed our selection to three companies and ultimately decided on Fractl because they understood the real importance and emergence of content and SEO.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Fractl dove deep into our company and our current content efforts (providing guidance on best practices) and ultimately delivered a set number of campaigns, which resulted from in-depth ideation sessions based on our calendar and topics that would best resonate with our audience. They performed custom research and pulled available third-party data to develop their stories, build the creative elements, and deliver the final product.

Now, Fractl builds a pitch list and strategy while developing the campaigns and then promotes their content after its published.

What was the team composition?

We’ve always had one or two main points of contact.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Fractl’s assets outperform other content on our site, in terms of engagement and conversions. We’ve also seen an increase in inbound links and traffic from authoritative sites.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our points of contact facilitate work with their internal teams quite effectively.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their innovation and processes surrounding pitching and promotions are outstanding.

There aren’t any at this time.

""Our work with Fractl has definitely been successful, and we plan to continue it for as long as our budget allows it."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We offer a software-as-a-service product helping people benchmark their performance against competitors and identify SEO [search engine optimization] opportunities. I am the senior marketing manager of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fractl?

Our business goals have changed a few times. Initially, we needed to increase brand awareness and link building.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Fractl has provided link-building work for our company, but we now focus more on lead generation and content creation. Fractl writes marketing blog posts for us, describing how our tools can be used in a best-practices context. Our content is optimized for organic searches.

Fractl has provided some graphic design services, including header images, infographics, and screenshots of our product.

How did you come to work with Fractl?

I contacted 2 to 3 companies that I'd come across in time. We ran a test phase with them in order to see how each agency compared to the rest. Fractl was the easiest to work with and provided the best quality outcomes. Most agencies can have cookie-cutter approaches based on rigid questionnaires, but Fractl wasn't like that.

How much have you invested with Fractl?

Some of our blog posts are more complex than others are, and Fractl has done other, more ongoing work, but I can't provide exact figures.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Fractl in October 2015. We signed up for a few campaigns initially, and restarted the work around 2 months ago [August 2016], when our budget allowed it. We have an ongoing relationship with Fractl and work on monthly projects.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our work with Fractl has definitely been successful, and we plan to continue it for as long as our budget allows it. We use our blog posts for email blasts, and usually receive 100-plus leads per week out of the effort.

How did Fractl perform from a project management standpoint?

Fractl doesn't demand much effort from my end of things, which is important when trying to promote features and products. Fractl has an ability to figure out our company without much handholding.

What did you find most impressive about Fractl?

It's difficult to find an agency that understands a specific product and can incorporate elements of our offering into the written content. Many of them contract out writers and produce material that is completely isolated from the actual product. Fractl is very good at blending them together, almost playing a product marketing role.

Are there any areas Fractl could improve?

Fractl could improve in terms of graphics. They're not necessarily bad, but they're designed by the same people.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Fractl?

The aesthetic used by Fractl is pretty much theirs – with a very specific look. If the client wants their own brand to be conveyed, visually they might need to work closer with Fractl and provide guidance. From what I've been able to tell, Fractl is open to this and has asked us about specific color palettes, but I can't speak fully about their ability to design outside of a certain aesthetic.

Our company was looking to boost our brand and web presence by not only creating extraordinary, shareable content for our web visitors, but to also amplify the efforts by getting well-known media outlets to publish them,

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We heard about Fractl at a content marketing conference back in 2015.

I work directly with one of Fractl's account managers.

### How We Earned 3 Million Views, 1 Million Shares, & 600 Placements With A Single Campaign
The idea was simple: We asked graphic designers from 18 countries around the world to Photoshop the same model’s body by making her more attractive according to their country’s beauty standards. By expanding the scope to an international level, we revealed that the pressures of unrealistic beauty standards are felt on a global scale – and this ignited an emotional response felt around the web:
Nearly 600 pickups, including initial placements with BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post
Extensive international coverage, including Business Insider Australia, CNN Espanol, six additional versions of The Huffington Post , and even a spot on a Canadian morning show
More than 3 million views from the BuzzFeed feature alone

### Drove Organic Traffic and Earned Links for McAfee
McAfee hired Fractl to develop 60 SEO-optimized on-page blog posts that would increase qualified site traffic and keyword rankings while also pursuing 2 Data Journalism campaigns that would increase their high-authority backlinks and site authority.
Fractl's blog content alone drives ~ 10k monthly organic visitors for McAfee even two years after our engagement started. Due to our articles' quality, depth, and breadth, these pages became natural link magnets earning over 6k backlinks without any outbound PR efforts.
Our two Data Journalism campaigns earned press on close to 150 sites, with standouts including Tom's Guide, Chron, MSN, Digital Journal, Newsbreak, and dozens of regional news publishers. Due to the authority of the content and brand, we also earned 10 .edu links for McAfee's campaigns, which are difficult to acquire and prized in our industry for their authority.
Upon completion of our first engagement for McAfee, the client remarked, "Your work has been phenomenal. So thank you for that! You made me look great in choosing high-quality vendors."
