FourthD was engaged to support the end-to-end design of a digital product, with a scope that included user experience strategy, interface design, and brand development. The project began with collaborative discovery sessions to understand user needs, product goals, and market context. From there, FourthD developed wireframes and user flows to map out core interactions, then translated those into high-fidelity UI designs that aligned with accessibility standards and platform guidelines.

On the branding side, FourthD established a visual identity system including color palette, typography, iconography, and tone of voice recommendations to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Deliverables included a component-based UI design system, a brand style guide, responsive design mockups, and design specifications prepared for developer handoff. FourthD also provided design consultation during implementation to support quality and alignment throughout the build process.

FourthD was responsible for the full design scope of a digital product, covering user experience, user interface, and brand development. The engagement began with research and discovery to align on user needs, business objectives, and product functionality. This informed the creation of wireframes, user flows, and interaction models to define the product’s structure and usability.

The team then developed a cohesive visual language, including color systems, typography, icon sets, and layout principles that were applied across the interface. Branding efforts included a foundational identity system to guide tone, visual consistency, and user perception. Key deliverables included a modular design system, responsive UI mockups, a brand style guide, and annotated specifications for development. FourthD also provided ongoing design support through implementation to ensure consistency and clarity across the product experience.

Product deep dive and learning sessions with SMEs to understand the product, scope of functionality, customers, and the problems we solve for them.  Focus on point of sale experience for an industry leading platform serving retail merchant with industry-specific needs for inventory, regulations, and compliance.

Develop a proposal for the UX/UI focus areas and roadmap of the work with timeline.
Build working prototypes, partnering with Product and Technology to review and hone, then meet with executive and other stakeholders for approval.

Ongoing work with Product and Technology as the new UX/UI screens and enhancements moved into development and the overall product-delivery lifeycle.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

UX/UI screens developed, approved and ready for development.

Once live, the KPIs will focus on new merchants won, retention, engagement, and direct merchant feedback.

• We had over 6 users and over 150+ screens that were designed for both web and mobile compatibility.
• The product we designed is a vertically integrated software ERP for the property management space. We designed flows for accounting, lease management, maintenance management, tenant relations and investor portal as well.

We tracked all of the user journey tickets using Linear. Each week tickets would be assigned and the progress of these tickets would move from To-Do, In Progress, Ready for review, Review notes pending, and completed

Incredible organization and time management skills were displayed during the entire mandate. Cedric was extremely efficient and produced high quality design output at a very fast pace. Super designer and looking forward to working with him again in the future
