We tasked FortisureIT to create a KPI dashboard for us in PowerBI using the data from Snowflake within our EMR. Eventually, payroll and other financial data was also included. The two main pieces of the dashboard were productivity and sales. Productivity tracked the amount and types of visits our clinicians had over time. This took some trial and error to get the counts correct but Fortisure did a great job getting it accurate. The sales side looked at admissions over time, broken down by which marketer brought the admission in. FortisureIT is currently also working on a high level financial dashboard for use by owners and upper management.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For the sales and productivity dashboard, the biggest success is time saved. Productivity and admission details were being calculated manually by management and now all of that information is a click away. Something that took hours last year now only takes a minute or two. 

For the financial dashboard, we are hoping to use it to scale and create more efficient budgets going forward.

We had weekly check-in calls to review work items and kept in touch throughout the week. Items were delivered on time and issues were promtly addressed.
