I was looking to design and launch a new website for my company.

First Rate Marketing has designed and developed a new website for my company. Initially, the team created a personal branding package and provided images and content. The first stage of the project was designing the website. After I had chosen a design concept and was happy with the design, the team built the website. First Rate Marketing has launched my site in WordPress and provides maintenance services on a monthly basis.

I found First Rate Marketing online. I spoke to around five development companies and chose First Rate Marketing because of our initial passion and engagement. We had a couple of calls before I signed the team. First Rate Marketing dived into what I was looking for and how they could help me define what they would do versus what I could provide.

We've spent around £4,500 (approximately $5,700) on this project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with First Rate Marketing started in February 2023 when we signed them, although our work started in April 2023. Our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

First Rate Marketing has helped me achieve my goal of creating brand awareness for my business. The team has delivered a very well-designed and clean website that elevates my business' brand awareness. When users see my website, they can see my identity and how I represent myself.

How did First Rate Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a fixed budget with First Rate Marketing that they respect. The team manages the project in different stages, and at each stage, First Rate Marketing asks for my approval and sign-off before progressing to the next phase. The website has taken a little longer to launch after my decision and request to make more adjustments and development.

The team constantly challenges my thinking, and we've co-created a potentially revised version that they would then build. First Rate Marketing has happily done this process as many times as needed until I'm happy with the product and can move to the following stages.

I want to highlight Samuel's work. He's very passionate and knows his products. He's also very engaging and willing to support me. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by First Rate Marketing's response time. When I have a challenge or problem, I message the team personally and get a response pretty immediately. The team is very responsive, even to the point of responding to my messages after hours when I've needed it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only improvement I can suggest is for First Rate Marketing to maintain their sleek customer service experience while the company is scaling. I've seen the team become busier and ensure they have the right processes to not jeopardize the products and quality they provide. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest not rushing the process and allowing yourself to have your ideas and for First Rate Marketing to challenge those ideas as experts in their field. Allow the team to challenge you as to which may be the better way of doing things. You may also want to allow the team more time to deliver your project. I think it's about delivering work right, not fast.

To create a 14-page website that needed a visual refresh and that represented the change of pace for the business. They had to take a complex subject matter and make it clear without being overly descriptive. They also needed to refresh the branding colors and baseline imagery

The website was completed on time and fulfilled the brief we gave them in the letter. They even accommodated some of the last-minute changes that we required. The website now looks and feels more aligned with our product, ethos, and culture.

Everything was delivered on time, and they were instantly responsive to our needs. They even changed copy whilst i waited on the phone!

First Rate Marketing has upgraded our former website, creating a new one for us. For this project, we've gone through a very specific and set procedure. From the very beginning, we've had numerous meetings so that they could upgrade the website to our standards regarding what we wanted to be reflected on our website. The process has required a lot of hard work, as it is a very detailed project that we've had to divide into stages.

We've worked directly with Samuel (Director). I don't know how many teammates are working with him, but I'm sure that there have been a lot of teammates involved behind the scenes.

Our new website looks stunning and has had a positive impact on our web presence because it has been upgraded to a very high standard. The website has been seen by all my colleagues around the world, most of whom are personal friends of mine. These people are high-net-worth individuals, and they're all very happy with it; it's very impressive. For example, the videos added look stunning.

First Rate Marketing has delivered items within budget. Although there have been some delays due to busy schedules, everything has gone quite well.

They designed and built out a new fully functioning website with SEO and speed optimization in a great turn around time. Design included strategic sessions to align marketing and product goals with organization. Implementation included ensuring that all features and functions that we had previously were at least mirrored across and then elevated to the next level. 

As an author, coach, speaker, and consultant it's important for my website to look high end, professional and to provide viewers with the information they need quickly. The team are extremely responsive and I feel highly valued as a client. Their knowledge of SEO, website infrastructure, and analytics to improve traffic are excellent. I met the vendor through a networking event in devonshire club and he was very passionate and knew his stuff. The deciding factor for me was his understanding of my vision and also the service that were included in the development of the website.

To be honest I am still waiting to see any action through the website.

The project manager and I had several phone calls, online video meeting at my convenience which made everything easy. This happened during covid so there was no way of meeting up. All our meeting was online till the completion of the project.

The ability to use their initiatives to help a non tech savvy individual like myself. Introducing new ideas and helping to monitor and push for the success and reliability of the website.

From my point of view, the project manager is doing more than I expected so I'm very happy.
