9/11 Day is a national nonprofit that transforms the anniversary of September 11 into a day of unity and service by organizing large-scale volunteer projects, supporting campus and youth service grant programs, and leading educational initiatives to ensure the day is both honored and never forgotten.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Program Leadership & Funding:

 • Serve as primary on-the-ground Event leader (“quarterback”)
• Execute within established program framework

• Serve as the primary local ambassador for 9/11 Day, actively championing its mission and representing the organization within the community.

Contracted Partnerships & Vendor Management:

• Secure and manage local vendors
• Provide vendor cost estimates
• Coordinate vendor invoicing per procedures

• Manage communications among core partners

Volunteer Recruitment & Staffing:

• Supplement Support Staff Volunteers recruitment as needed
• Recruit, hire, and manage Team Leads (within budget)
• Train and supervise Support Staff Volunteers pre-event and on-site
• Oversee volunteer check-in and floor operations

Programming, Training & Event Materials:
• Participate in required trainings
• Develop and finalize Event Run of Show
• Recruit/manage speakers and performers for the Opening Ceremony, including: Emcee, Moment of Silence Leader, and “America the Beautiful” singer

• If there are multiple Meal Pack shifts, Event Managers will need to recruit speakers and performers for each shift
• Coordinate VIP/sponsor arrivals and Green Room logistics (if applicable)
• Coordinate receipt and display of signage

Event Execution, Reporting & Compliance:
• Oversee event setup (9/10), execution (9/11), breakdown 
• Coordinate with Meal Pack Partner on day-of operations
• Submit deliverables via Google Classroom
• Meet all deadlines (material obligation)
• Submit post-event report by 9/13 with media attendance
• Maintain confidentiality
• Comply with safety and security requirements

• Maintain timely, proactive communication with 9/11 Day, including prompt responses, regular updates, and immediate issue reporting.

The Firm team was exceptional to work with from start to finish. When The Firm team was brought on to support the 9/11 Day Meal Pack project in Las Vegas, they immediately stepped in with confidence and took full ownership. Their ability to quickly integrate into the work, anticipate needs, and keep the project moving forward made a meaningful difference in its overall success. Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The Firm Public Relations has been instrumental in providing public relations strategic counsel as well as assisted in tactical implementation of public relations and social media efforts. The PR practitioners have drafted media statements, press releases, and advertorials. They have aslo developed event ideas and managed and directed aspects of those events. The folks at The Firm also handle social media for the community including drafting calendars, curating content, and providing insights into how those channels are enhancing the overall PR/Marketing efforts for the Cadence project.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Event attendance, increase in number of calls to sales center, increase in awareness of the project.

The practitioners at The Firm are the utmost professionals. They understand that PR is more than just media relations. The provide effective crisis communications counsel, are adept at managing every aspect of events, and, of course, have exceptional media contacts and media relations skills.

There is nothing this agency could do differently. They are top notch!
