We hired Ficode to implement more GDPR practices within our platform, as well as adding an integrations page, building an integration with a UK based CRM platform and also some minor UI/bug amendments.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We conducted a couple of calls to outline out project and then they listed their costs for each project I had listed. They were based in the UK which was very helpful for me and they were always available to have a call with. Their team were very helpful on the calls and provided support by resolving issues i had faced with my previous development team.

We had many calls and I had listed all the projects in detail, in a spreadsheet. Once the first milestone was paid, they proceeded with the work based on the mockups I had designed. They kept me updated on progress and then send me test versions to try for myself. I would send amendments to them and they would kindly fix these and re-send me test versions until I was 100% happy, also providing me with their opinions.

I had dealt with 3 people who were project managers and also the CEO of the company. Everyone was very helpful and had great communication all around.

Great communication via LinkedIn message, email and sometimes Whatsapp. They were always available for a call if it was easier to have a proper conversation.

Their willingness to support me even though my previous developers were causing us big issues to proceed with these projects. They helped me with pricing given the situation I was in, which I was grateful for. Very helpful and great communication.

Upon selection of Ficode, we had a kick off to run through our requirements, key milestones and timelines. For both the Front end web app designs and website, the technologies used were Angular 9 and PHP.

The deliverables were received before / on deadlines outlined in the Project Plan and were of the highest quality

The team were available at any time and we had regular touchpoints with them to get updates on deliverables. Communication was done via Zoom meetings, e-mail, telephone and even WhatsApp with 24/7 response

The attention to detail and out-of-the-box thinking was great. Also, advice was provided throughout on best way to set-up site. Finally, the quick turnaround of any adjustments and willingness to go above and beyond throughout the project.

Over-communication of updates / issues as and when they occurred and confirmation on deliverable completion, however, this is a personal preference.
