Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the founder and CEO of Runur, which is a driver management platform for tenants to keep track of their driving fleets.

For what projects/services did your company hire FewerClicks?

We used FewerClicks to build out our proof of concept.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to get working software into the hands of our clients to see if it brings value to their day-to-day operations.

How did you select this vendor?

After vetting out different candidates, FewerClicks was the best choice given their communication, price point, and timeline.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Our POC consist of both a web interface for our clients, and a mobile application for their fleet of drivers. FewerClicks was able to address both simultaneously, for both iOS and Android.

What was the team composition?

I worked exclusively with their project manager, who then worked directly with his team of developers to build my vision.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We finally have a working POC, and our clients will be providing feedback so we can start to iterate.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project manager was both courteous and informative along the way. He was in constant communication, which kept things on track and prevents mistakes from occurring. FewerClicks was able to accomplish everything in a timely manner, and with great communication. They were available at very unconventional hours, which I am extremely appreciative of!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had a special request that was outside of their wheelhouse, but they were still able to accomplish it.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

A more intensive use of a project management tool, like Trello (although we did use Trello), would be nice for granular transparency. Having said that, they are open to various mediums of communication.

I’m the CEO of Xpresspay, an emerging retail startup headquartered in Germany.

For what projects/services did your company hire FewerClicks Software?

We hired FewerClicks Software to develop a website as well as Android and iOS apps that would streamline the in-store shopping experience. 

What were your goals for this project? 

Our goal was to have a fully functional product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We hired them based on our Skype interview. 

Describe the project in detail. 

We’re creating a product that allows users to electronically purchase in-store items to skip long queues. With our app, users can touch the physical item to their phones, add it to their shopping cart, pay for it electronically, and leave the store.

Xpressay was responsible for developing the website and creating the Android/iOS apps. We initially discussed and outlined the project, and I made corrections. They then completed the work and delivered our product on time.

What was the team composition?

We worked with two frontend developers and two backend developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still underway, so we don’t have any hard metrics to report, yet. However, the quality of the work was impressive. We only needed to make 2–3 changes. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs? 

Their assigned team members were available for 18 hours per day. We had direct communication with them to address any corrections or changes. 

What did you find most impressive about this company? 

I was impressed with the quality of their work and innovative solutions.
