I’m the CTO and a board member of Cyber_Folks, a web hosting, domain registration, and online security services company. We support entrepreneurs, developers, bloggers, and e-commerce businesses with expertise and a community-driven approach.

We engaged Fast Forward Solutions to accelerate the growth of our technology teams. The objective was straightforward: fill a defined set of highly specialized engineering roles quickly, without compromising on technical quality or cultural fit within our organization.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided Fast Forward Solutions with a detailed brief covering the roles required to launch a new project on our side — required technical skills, seniority level, and the profile of the person we wanted in each seat. From there, they ran the full search process: market mapping, sourcing and direct approach of passive candidates, initial screening, and presenting us with a shortlist of pre-qualified people. The main deliverable was a set of vetted candidates ready for our internal interviews, along with coordination of the recruitment process up to the point of hire.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measure of success is that we filled every role we opened with them. Candidates started coming in very quickly after the brief - the first profiles reached us within a week - and the quality was high enough that we didn't have to work through long lists to find people worth interviewing. We ended the process having hired three people, all of whom are still with us and performing well.Although we didn't run a formal tracking framework around this, a few things spoke for themselves. The ratio of candidates presented to those we wanted to interview was high, which was the clearest signal of quality on our side. All the people we hired passed their probation period and are still with the company, and their managers' feedback after the first months was consistently positive.

How did Fast Forward Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was efficient and low-maintenance from our perspective. We had one point of contact throughout, communication was quick, and we were kept updated on the progress of the search without having to chase for it. Timelines were met - candidates started arriving shortly after the briefing, and the process was closed within the timeframe we needed for the project launch.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

What stood out the most was how well they understood our culture. We've been working with Fast Forward Solutions for a long time now, and that has translated into a real feel for the kind of people who work well in our organization - not just the technical requirements on paper, but the working style, the level of ownership we expect, and the general profile of person who fits our teams. Very few recruitment partners get to that point.
