We were looking for a company to build our Brand Identity (Logo and Corporate Branding) as well as to build from scratch our New Corporate Website

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have had quite a positive feedback regarding our new branding from our current clientele, partners and network organizations. We were complimented on that few times which signals us that the work done resonates with our target audience which is the most important. 

As per the new website we can firmly say that we have detected much better performance KPIs (tracked mainly from Google Analytics) that also show us that the user experience is what we aimed at. The new website is also modern, dynamic, simple yet sophisticated in terms of services presentation and the most important is that we can also manage several sections of it after the training and know-how transfer we have got from ExpandX. We are quire satisfied with the overall services delivery.

The project was managed quite professionally. We have been assigned a dedicated project manager who coordinate the work of the other team members and departments involved - web design, web development, UX/UI, SEO, IT admin and quality assurance. 

The communication flow was smooth as we felt we are always being taken care of with regular reminders, communication facilitation, regular status-quo updates and progress reports as well as regular meetings to discuss strategic questions. The team facilitated the project in a great way which allowed us to think of new aspects of our website which we did not have on our initial brief list at the beginning. That was really valuable to us.

I am the founder, owner and CEO of an International company providing yachting charters, sailing holidays, custom sailing trips and yachting cruises in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean regions.

We needed a brand new website for our business as since the beginning of our operation we had a more basic one that we now needed to upgrade to a new, modern and much more functional website. We also needed to upgrade our brand identity, logo and brand materials, as well as presence in the social media platforms where our customers mainly are.

We had two approaches - one company that was recommended by a friend of mine and to seek an external provided that we select ourselves. We initiated talks with 4 companies in total and all of them appeared to have very good knowledge and were very professional in terms of understanding what we need and technical ability to deliver it.

However ExpandX stood out with highest level of competence, pro-activeness and quick replies. They also elaborated on questions we initially did not think about that actually helped us a lot at that stage. So we ended up selecting ExpandX.

We started with the website development. We worked with few different team departments - Design, SEO, Web development, IT admin and marketing - to cover all major needs of this project. We had a project manager that smoothly navigated us through all the process, steps, revisions, idea stages, etc.

Once we finished that project for approximately 3 months. we then started with the other service lines that were all executed smoothly, with great communication flow and clear processes agenda. We were always given professional and meaningful answers by the separate team departments when we needed clarifications.

For the website development we worked with 6 team members - web design, head of web development, SEO specialist, UX/UI specialists and IT admin. A project manager - Ellie - lead all the communication flow and reporting. For the braiding and social media service lines we worked with other 3 team members from design and marketing departments. Ellie was over the top of the project management again.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had great results with website for the initial month of operations. We had smooth migration process and clients were very satisfied with the new digital product. We also received compliments from some clients that they really like our new website and they said it is much easier to navigate compared to the old one.

We are also seeing some increase in our traffic levels, time spent on the website, and other important metrics. Overall very good results for the initial period after the launch of the website.

Excellent project management processed by ExpandX. We had regular email status quo updates, smooth and very easy to follow communication flow via email as well as regular meetings to discuss the projects progress. That all made our understanding of the the project development and the work process very effective.

Professionalism of very high level, solid expertise and great communication. Those three blend perfectly together and the services are excellent!

None I can think of at the moment.

At the beginning we had several meetings between our teams. We figured out our key objectives and got their advices on several different solutions(samples). After we chose the design they implemented all the given information and pictures. We had several feedback calls and at the end it turned out that we started to read each other minds.

We worked with project manager who administered the whole project progress and delivery, two web developers, web designer, IT admin, SEO specialist and quality assurance specialist. Communication was mainly via email with regular progress meetings.

Before we did not receive any inquires neither phone calls from our old site. Those have changed and we have numerous calls and mail inquiries every day. We are glad that most of the administrative work is done by the system. We only deal with few special inquiries of certain clients and can focus on the work in the background.

The result talks about itself the most. Both teams worked as one at the end. Definitely the easiest communication even for the youngsters who were in from our side

We were most impressed by their knowledge and expertise in every area in which questions occurred. Every idea and solution was backed by their experience with previous clients and projects. Thus we got the best service and expertise gained through many years and projects.

They gave their best and did great! What i think is that if they carefully increase the team they will be able to delivery even faster and to more clients in the same time.

The overall campaigns have a significant result as of now. As our social media accounts were quite new, they are trying to establish the readiness first and we are sure that they are doing the correct steps to achieve our goals.

As we are not in the same area, we always have our meeting twice a month via google meet. It is not an issue at all as the team were very alert in responding to our emails.

It's a complete package that can really assist or help all your needs, especially in digital marketing. The support is overwhelming every time from the team.

Well, there is always room for improvement, but, from what we are getting from them now, it is more than enough.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our firm absorbed a few other companies, and we were expanding. We’re very proud of our company and the way we work with our clients, but that was hard for us to express with our website and branding. We wanted to present ourselves more professionally to our clients so they could find us online and trust us.

We’ve had very positive feedback so far about the website. Everything is easy to navigate, and we haven’t had any issues with it.

They are very responsive, and communication is effortless. They’re organized, and everything is being delivered on time and within our budget. We communicate via Zoom, phone calls, and email.

They’ve been willing to answer any and all questions we’ve brought to them, and have been extremely patient throughout our partnership. They’ve been providing us with the highest quality work. They’ve acted as a real partner for us, and we collaborate very closely with them. If we have any feedback, they’re quick to respond to it. 

We use many different service providers, and very rarely do we get such excellent customer service as we do with ExpandX. They give us fantastic value for our money.

There is nothing more they could be doing for us.

We started working together in May 2022, and our engagement is ongoing. They’re aiming to finish the site by the end of November.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project is going well; ExpandX has achieved every goal so far and has met my vision for the site. We’re building something special together, and they’re helping in everything they can. Since the site isn’t finished, I can’t give any metrics. 

How did ExpandX perform from a project management standpoint?

Every communication with them is smooth, and we haven’t had any issues with any team members. We usually communicate through email and sometimes talk on the phone with the CEO. They’re very fast in responding to my emails; they reply within the hour. Although we’ve had a delay in the timeline, it was on my side. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I emailed at least 10 big companies, and most didn’t give me the attention I wanted; it took them at least a week to respond to my inquiry, and some didn’t respond at all. To me, that showed me they weren’t serious. Meanwhile, the response I got from ExpandX was the best; they’re good to me and act professionally.

I don’t see any ways they need to improve; everything’s perfect.

We were introduced to an account manager as well as digital marketing specialists for daily operations. Strategy calls we took directly with the CEO and since he has so much experience in the field we truly felt heard and understood.

The team really impressed us with their high professional standard and experience in our area. This used to be really hard to find.

Since there was quite a high load of incoming creatives and texts from ExpandX team we did realise that we need a dedicated person to focus on those tasks and approvals. Had we realised this from the very beginning, perhaps we could have done even more with the ExpandX team.

We have had a very structured framework provided for the stages of the Branding and the Brand design.

We were provided few creative options, we discussed them during few video calls, we provided feedback and after a month of work with the design team we have had our logo and brand identity ready. So we proceed with building up the website from 0.

Everything was managed by Ellie, the project manager for the project. Very smooth communication. Regular project updates provided each week, as per the milestones we have set. So the project was completed on time, as per the plan we have set for phase 1.0.

I believe 1 web-designer, 1 project manager, 1 creative marketing expert - that was for the Brand Creation. And we have had a project manager that lead the web development team working on the project development.

The team there involved a web developer, web designer, IT admin, UX/UI and an SEO specialist. Very well composed team.

All projects so far were deliver on time and as per the budgets set. This is very important for us. We are very happy with the final results as they fully reflect on the project brief we have internally prepared.

We have had weekly meeting to comment on the project progress and to provide feedback. We have also got regular weekly updated form the PM by e-mail, reporting on the milestones, project progress, work done by the team members, etc.

Their ability to deliver quality work and go the extra mile is impressive. The team of ExpandX was always a step ahead while planing our projects, helped us better to understand the opportunities we could work on. So we finally had what we aimed at.
