We engaged Eveneer Solutions to research, design, and develop a custom blockchain network from the ground up — built specifically as a controlled environment for evaluating a novel consensus protocol. 
The work spanned the full research-to-publication pipeline: protocol architecture, implementation, experimental validation, and academic write-up. Beyond engineering, the team was responsible for translating experimental results into rigorous technical documentation suitable for peer review. 

Key Deliverables:

• Protocol architecture design — formal specification of the novel consensus protocol, including state transitions, validator logic, and fault-tolerance assumptions.
• Blockchain node implementation — a working node capable of participating in the custom network, including networking layer, storage, and transaction handling.
• Consensus mechanism implementation — the core consensus engine integrated into the node, ready for experimental deployment.

Measurable Outcomes:

Eveneer Solutions ran the project with clear structure. Milestones were defined upfront across protocol design, implementation, experimentation, and publication, and deliverables landed on schedule across the Oct–Dec 2019 timeline. When scope adjustments came up, they flagged them early instead of letting them quietly stretch the deadline. Communication was consistent and proactive, regular updates, fast turnaround on questions, and real engagement on the more technical asks around methodology and security scenarios. They also stayed responsive through the publication phase, which involved a lot of back-and-forth, rather than treating prototype delivery as the end of the job.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We've worked with vendors before who treat the spec as a finish line, build what's on the document, ship it, move on. Eveneer was different as they asked questions about the protocol that we hadn't fully thought through ourselves, and a few of those questions ended up improving the design before we even got to implementation. 
There was also a moment during benchmarking where the early numbers didn't look great. A lot of contractors would have quietly delivered the results and let us figure out what to do with them. Their team flagged it directly, walked us through what they thought was causing it, and proposed a fix. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Eveneer Solutions could have done differently?

We like to be on the loop for rough drafts as well as planning. The documentation was lacking early on but was fixed within the timeline, so its all good.
