ETTE serves as our outsourced managed IT and cybersecurity partner, supporting our approximately 30-person hybrid workforce.
The scope of work includes day-to-day help desk support; employee onboarding and offboarding; device procurement, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and software updates; Microsoft 365, email, OneDrive, network, and account administration; cybersecurity monitoring, endpoint protection, employee training, and risk mitigation; data backup and recovery support; and strategic technology planning.
Key deliverables include timely resolution of technical issues, secure and properly configured employee devices and accounts, proactive system maintenance, strengthened cybersecurity controls, clear guidance on emerging risks and technology changes, and ongoing recommendations to support operational continuity and evolving business needs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The engagement has produced measurable improvements in both service delivery and cybersecurity. Through June 10, 2026, ETTE managed 86 service-desk requests—including a major onboarding wave supporting 43 users—and closed 81, representing a 94% resolution rate. Of the 72 satisfaction surveys triggered, there were zero low-score escalations, resulting in a reported 100% satisfaction signal.
ETTE also helped improve our Guardz cybersecurity score from 76 to 85, exceeding both the recommended minimum of 80 and the industry benchmark of 77. During one two-week reporting period, its web-filtering and endpoint-protection tools analyzed 694,230 requests and blocked 4,180 potential threats, including phishing and malware activity.
ETTE has also strengthened our operational visibility by maintaining an inventory of 26 devices, identifying unsupported systems and overdue replacements, and helping us establish clearer technology, licensing, and device-lifecycle priorities.

They have consistently delivered time-sensitive items on schedule and communicated proactively when a request required additional coordination, information, or a longer-term solution.
Their team is responsive, accessible, and flexible, particularly when urgent issues arise, and they take the time to understand our operational needs, explain technical matters clearly, and adjust their support as our priorities evolve.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Before ETTE, our IT environment was largely reactive, we addressed issues as they surfaced, but lacked the visibility, clear ownership, and forward planning we needed from a true managed service provider.
Since ETTE took over, we have gained a responsive partner that manages requests through a structured help desk, communicates clearly, delivers time-sensitive work reliably, and uses regular business reviews to help us anticipate risks and priorities. The biggest difference is that we no longer feel like we are simply calling IT when something breaks; we now have a team actively helping us manage, protect, and strengthen our technology environment.

ETTE has been a responsive and dependable partner, particularly in managing day-to-day support needs and urgent technical issues. As with any ongoing partnership, there is an opportunity for both teams to maintain greater visibility into longer-term initiatives when immediate needs, internal decision-making, or organizational priorities cause timelines to shift.
A shared action tracker with clear ownership, updated target dates, and noted dependencies could help both sides sustain momentum and accountability. Overall, ETTE has remained flexible, collaborative, and willing to adjust alongside our evolving needs.

Our outsourced IT consultant played an instrumental role in transitioning our internal file management system from a legacy server-based infrastructure to a modern SharePoint environment. They led the entire migration process, starting with a thorough assessment of our existing file structures and identifying opportunities to streamline organization and access permissions. The consultant developed a detailed migration plan that minimized disruption to daily operations, executed the transfer of files with careful attention to preserving metadata and folder hierarchies, and configured SharePoint sites and libraries to align with our departmental workflows. They also provided comprehensive training sessions for staff, created user guides tailored to our team's needs, and established ongoing support to address questions during the adjustment period. This transition has significantly improved our team's ability to collaborate, access files remotely, and maintain version control, while also laying the groundwork for deeper Microsoft 365 integration across the organization.
