eSparkBiz has developed features very quickly, which has helped us offload work from our shoulders. The quality of their work is much better, and they've reduced bugs, improved performance, and created more reliable functionality.

We've integrated them into our team, and they all behave as such with a high level of ownership and a commitment to excellence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something eSparkBiz could have done differently?

I'm very happy with eSB and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for accessible talent. That said, I'd like to see eSB bring in more senior developers and to make it easier / more normal for team members to work US hours. To be fair, several team members do extend their hours to provide many hours of overlap with US hours, but it took time and discussion to get them there.

We have a core group of developers as fully integrated members of our team, and we’ve flexed up incremental team members as needed to accomplish our development needs. eSparkBiz has provided us with UI/UX, front- and back-end development, integration, and prompt engineering. They’ve been integral to our development process. eSparkBiz has helped us develop an AI-native medical note-taker and all the associated SaaS features and back-end structure.

What is the team composition?

We’ve had a core team of 10 teammates and flexed capacity up to 15 teammates at different times.

I found eSparkBiz through a referral from a trusted technical leader who had used their services several times over the last few years. The leadership team at eSparkBiz took time to understand our development needs before staffing the team members we needed. They’ve been great to work with all along the way.

Like many developers, they have a tendency to provide overly optimistic timelines. That said, the project manager does a great job at communicating expectations. We primarily communicate via daily Slack and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We love that we can scale up and down as needed. The leadership team at eSparkBiz allows us to interview developers before accepting them into our team. The leadership team is very accommodating to our needs.
